The S-Class Beautiful Sisters at My New School Somehow Got Super Attached to Me and Ended Up Becoming Yandere Without Me Even Realizing It - Chapter 36-37
Chapter 36
“Oh, hey, it’s Aoyama-san. Uh, which one are you again?”
“I’m Yuzuki. Geez, how rude. Just get away from Ayaha already. Can’t you see that this girl’s totally uncomfortable?”
“Nah, I’m not, like, forcing her to come with me or anything. It’s just—she said she was super busy today, but then she’s here doing karaoke? So I was just asking her what’s up with that, y’know.”
Itoi-kun said it while looking straight at Ayaha, acting like he hadn’t done anything wrong at all.
“That’s—exactly why! I already had plans with friends. Why do you have to butt into every little thing I do? Stop acting like you’re my boyfriend!”
The second Ayaha pushed back hard like that, Itoi-kun’s face, which had been all smiles until then, instantly darkened.
“…What’s that supposed to mean? We’re friends, right? No need to lie. You could’ve just said you were hanging out with friends.”
“Because if I said that, you’d try to tag along anyway!”
“But Aoyama-san’s in the same year as us too. Why’s it a problem if I come?”
“Look, that’s not—”
“Anyway, we ran into each other by chance, so let’s just do karaoke, the three of us!”
Ayaha was clearly at a loss, not knowing how to deal with this guy who just wouldn’t listen.
And honestly… so was I.
I was getting seriously pissed off—like, I was this close to just decking him—when
“Yuzuki-san, where are you…? Oh—there you are. You okay?”
Tendou-kun’s figure appeared.
“Ah, Tendou-kun.”
“You said ‘help’—what happened?”
“Hey, who the hell are you?”
Before we could even explain, Itoi-kun was already picking a fight with Tendou-kun.
“Uh… I’m Tendou Asuka.”
“Ohhh, you’re that guy who’s been hanging around the Aoyama sisters lately. Wait—don’t tell me you’re after Ayaha too—”
“Iroha? What’s that supposed to mean?”
Tendou-kun, who didn’t know Ayaha that well, just tilted his head, totally confused.
I actually thought his clueless face was kinda funny, but Itoi-kun looked seriously irritated now and
“You damn player. Get lost.”
He glared hard.
Tendou-kun glanced over at me with this troubled look, so I finally spoke up.
“Tendou-kun, Ayaha’s getting harassed by this guy and she’s really uncomfortable.”
Ayaha nodded quickly. I put my arm around her shoulders while I talked.
Tendou-kun looked back at Itoi-kun.
“Um… she’s saying that, though.”
“Dude, if we just talk it out—”
“But she clearly doesn’t want this.”
“Stay out of Ayaha’s business, newbie.”
“No, but—”
“Ugh, whatever. Ayaha, come here.”
Tendou-kun got shoved aside as Itoi-kun grabbed Ayaha’s hand.
“Hey—let go!”
“Shut up. I just wanna talk, that’s all.”
“Hey, stop it!”
“Back off, bitch.”
“Kyaa!”
“Ah—watch out!”
I got pushed and lost my balance, but Tendou-kun, who was right next to me, quickly caught my shoulder so I didn’t fall.
“You okay?”
“S-sorry, Tendou-kun.”
“That guy seriously doesn’t get it at all, huh…”
“…Tendou-kun?”
He was clearly angry—way different from his usual vibe.
He let go of me, then walked straight over to Itoi-kun and the others.
“Hey. Let her go.”
“Hah? You’re really persistent, you know that?”
“What’s fun about making a girl uncomfortable? I seriously hate guys like you.”
Tendou-kun stepped right between them, yanked Itoi-kun’s hand off Ayaha, and stared him down hard.
“Wh-what the hell…?”
“My dad’s a cop. I’ll have you questioned for assaulting a woman.”
“Wha—what? Police? C’mon, that’s way too dramatic—”
“You just shoved Yuzuki-san down too, right? There’s security cameras here. You can hit me if you want, but then you really won’t be able to talk your way out of it.”
“…Tch.”
Itoi-kun’s face twisted like he’d bitten into something nasty. He clicked his tongue and just walked out of the store.
And right after that…
Tendou-kun suddenly dropped down to the floor like his strings got cut.
“Haa… that was scary.”
“Tendou-kun!?”
I rushed over, but Ayaha, who was closer, already had her hands on him, supporting him.
“You okay?”
“Ah, yeah… I’m fine. Um—were you okay?”
“Me? Y-yeah, thanks to you.”
“Good… I’m glad. Ah—Yuzuki-san, you okay too? You kinda froze up there for a sec.”
Tendou-kun gave this shaky, sheepish smile and scratched the back of his head, looking embarrassed.
My heart skipped a beat.
He’s so obviously weak like this, and yet… when it’s for someone else, he’ll stand up even to someone way tougher. I couldn’t take my eyes off him.
And…
I wasn’t the only one staring at him with sparkling eyes.
“Um…”
Ayaha kept gazing straight at Tendou-kun while he slowly stood back up.
Her cheeks were a little pink.
“Can I… maybe get your contact info?”

Chapter 37
♡
“See ya, Tendou-kun. You better text me for real, okay~?”
After we left the karaoke place, I walked Ayaha home together with Tendou-kun.
On the way back, Ayaha was totally glued to him the whole time.
Where’re you from, what’re your hobbies, do you have a girlfriend.
She just kept firing questions at him.
Tendou-kun looked kinda troubled while he answered, but Ayaha’s eyes were sparkling the entire time.
“Haa… man, I’m kinda wiped out.”
“You got super attached to Ayaha, huh. Even swapped contacts and everything—Mizuki’s probably gonna get jealous.”
“N-no, it’s not like that. It just happened that way, so she probably just wanted to say thanks.”
“Really now?”
Ayaha might look flashy on the outside, but she told me before that she actually hates guys who act all sleazy.
And we even talked about this once.
Someday a prince charming would swoop in and save her from danger, and she’d fall in love.
She said she’d love to have a romance like that.
But… no way, right?
“Still though, Tendou-kun’s parents are cops, huh.”
“Oh, uh… that was actually a lie.”
“Huh? For real?”
“Haha, yeah. I just figured saying that might scare the guy off. My dad’s actually just a salaryman.”
Coming up with a bluff like that on the spot in a situation like that… Tendou-kun really does have something special that other people don’t.
That’s why Mizuki’s drawn to him.
And now Ayaha too… ugh, no point thinking about it.
“Anyway, we still haven’t talked about what the teacher said today.”
“Oh right. How’d it go?”
“He said it was really good. But if we want it recognized as actual results, we might have to write at least one full book.”
“Seriously? That sounds like a ton of work.”
“But we gotta make him do it. I’ll help however I can, so starting tomorrow we’re going all out.”
“Yeah. Let’s do our best.”
“Mm-hmm. See you tomorrow then.”
“Yeah, see ya. Say hi to Mizuki-san for me too.”
After splitting up with Tendou-kun and getting home, Mizuki was in the living room poking at her phone looking bored. She saw me and stood up.
“Yuzuki, you okay?”
“Uh—yeah, pretty much. Tendou-kun showed up and… wait, how do you even know?”
“Huh? Oh—uh, well, you were with him, right?”
“At that time? Where were you? Don’t tell me you invited him over—”
“Kinda just… happened. I was gonna surprise you with it.”
Mizuki gave this awkward little laugh, looking a bit uncomfortable, then asked, “So what happened?”
“Before that—what about Tendou-kun? You didn’t do anything, right?”
“What’s that supposed to mean? What me and him do wherever is none of your business.”
“This is my house too, y’know. I’d hate it if you brought a classmate over and did weird stuff.”
“Nothing like that happened. We just drank tea and talked about books.”
“…For real?”
“Of course. If something happened with Tendou-kun, you’d be the first person I’d tell.”
She said it with a smile, then added again, “So? What happened?”
“I ran into Ayaha by chance. She was at karaoke and some guy was being super pushy and annoying her.”
“The tennis club’s Itoi-kun, right? That creep’s still acting like a stalker. But… Tendou-kun actually beat him?”
“Kinda. Tendou-kun’s surprisingly good at bluffing and stuff.”
“Hmm. Not bad, Tendou-kun. Now I’m even more interested.”
Mizuki looked genuinely happy about it—like it was her own victory—then sat back down and picked up her phone again.
Then she suddenly went, “Huh?” kinda loud.
“Wh-what’s wrong?”
“…It’s from Ayaha. Look at this.”
“…Huh?”
It was a LINE message from Ayaha to Mizuki.
‘So today I met my destined prince charming~ Tomorrow I’m thinking of confessing to him. Do you know any good spots?’
“This is… about Tendou-kun, right?”
“Probably… yeah, I think so.”
“What do we do? Ayaha’s got an amazing figure, she’s cute, total gal that all the guys love.”
“B-but maybe Tendou-kun doesn’t like gals.”
“Guys always say that, but deep down they’re into gals. What if Ayaha actually ends up dating Tendou-kun? What then?”
I’d never seen Mizuki this worked up before. Like, ever.
“What do you mean ‘what then’… it’s got nothing to do with me.”
“Oh. Right. You’re sticking to that whole ‘I don’t care’ thing. Fine then.”
“What’s that supposed to mean? You’re talking like you’re the one who likes Tendou-kun.”
“Yeah. I do.”
“…Huh?”
For a second, everything just… stopped.
Normally Mizuki would freak out and go “N-no way, what’re you talking about?!”
But she just looked straight at me and said it.
“I like Tendou-kun.”
“Like… not just as a person, but—”
“As a guy. Of course. I wasn’t gonna tell you until things were going well with him.”
“Wh-what? You’re the one who said guys can eat shit, Mizuki!”
“The ones I’d met before, yeah. But he’s different. You know that too, right?”
“…I mean, yeah, I know. But still—liking him that fast?”
“That’s different for everyone. Maybe to you he’s just a nice guy, but to me it feels like fate. Just because we’re twins doesn’t mean we have to like the same person.”
“…Yeah, but.”
She was right.
So why did my chest sting like this?
“Anyway, I’m gonna talk to Ayaha tomorrow. I can’t just let my important partner get stolen by a friend.”
“Ayaha’s the type who charges ahead once she decides something. Think you can talk her out of it?”
“Who knows. Gotta try. Anyway, it’s not your problem, right?”
Mizuki put her phone away and headed straight back to her room.
“…What the hell.”
But she was right.
Whoever Tendou-kun dates has nothing to do with me.
Just like with Itoi-kun today—I don’t have any right to tie him down.
I get it.
I totally get it, but.
“Why…”
Why does my chest hurt so much?
Why…?
