The S-Class Beautiful Sisters at My New School Somehow Got Super Attached to Me and Ended Up Becoming Yandere Without Me Even Realizing It - Chapter 38-39
Chapter 38
♤
“Ah, morning~”
In the morning.
On my way to school, I heard this super cheerful voice, turned around, and saw Ayaha-san running over from a little ways back.
“Heyyy, Tendou-kun, morning~!”
“O-oh, good morning.”
“Seriously, why didn’t you text me yesterday? I was waiting, y’know.”
“S-sorry. I don’t really use LINE with girls that often.”
“Ehh, for real? Anyway, are you free after school today?”
“After school? Uh, yeah, if it’s after club activities, I don’t have anything.”
“Cool, then let me know when you’re done. I kinda wanna talk about something.”
“Talk about something… is it about yesterday?”
“If it’s about Itoi-kun, I’m over it. I’m gonna take a page from your book and shut him down properly from now on. Thanks again, seriously.”
“Nah, it wasn’t a big deal… hm?”
“What’s up?”
“N-nothing.”
I could’ve sworn I felt this crazy intense stare just now… or was it my imagination?
No way it’s Itoi-kun, right? I glanced around quick, but there wasn’t anybody.
“Anyway, after school then. See ya later!”
“Y-yeah.”
When we got to school, Ayaha-san headed straight to her classroom.
She’s so full of energy, I thought, watching her jog off.
“Good morning, Tendou-kun.”
“Wah… g-good morning, Mizuki-san.”
Mizuki-san called out to me from behind.
“Why’re you so jumpy? Guilty conscience or something?”
“N-no, nothing like that.”
“Hmm. You and Ayaha getting pretty close?”
“Ah, we’re friends. Well, yesterday Yuzuki-san and I ran into her, and stuff happened…”
“Ohhh. And she asked you to meet up after school?”
“Huh? How’d you know?”
“Called it.”
“Called it?”
“Nah, never mind. Oh right—I heard from Yuzuki this morning about what the teacher said yesterday. We gotta start seriously working on the book now, so unfortunately you probably won’t have time to hang with Ayaha.”
“Yeah… true. Even though we’ve got the shape down, finishing a whole book is no joke.”
“Exactly. So I’ll casually let Ayaha know you’re busy.”
“Okay, got it.”
Mizuki-san walked off toward the classroom looking kinda light on her feet.
❤︎
“So yeah, Ayaha—Tendou-kun’s swamped and can’t really hang right now.”
I mentioned it to her casually in the classroom, and Ayaha, who’d been all smiles till then, suddenly looked kinda pouty.
“I get why he’s busy, but why’re you the one telling me, Mizuki?”
“Because I’m in the reading club too.”
“That’s not what I mean. Even if it’s club stuff, do you really have the right to manage Tendou-kun’s whole schedule? You’re not his girlfriend.”
“Working together on a piece like this means we’re basically one unit. We’re in sync.”
When I said it firmly even though Ayaha kept pushing back, she went, “Does that mean you like Tendou-kun?”
I nodded, obviously.
“Yeah, I do. So don’t get in the way.”
“Hmm. Even you, Mizuki. Guess Tendou-kun really is something special.”
“Yeah, he is. Just thinking about him fills me up for like three days straight.”
“Then now I’m even more interested in him.”
“Huh? Wait, no—that’s—”
“If I can’t meet him, I’ll just call. We’ll talk a ton on the phone, and I’ll make sure I tell him how I feel properly. You can’t stop me from doing that, right?”
“That’s…”
“Anyway, I’m not gonna bug him when he’s busy. You two go ahead and work hard on your novel. I’m gonna confess to Tendou-kun properly today.”
With that, Ayaha went back to her seat.
♡
“Ah, morning, Yuzuki-san.”
“…Morning.”
“Something wrong?”
“Nope.”
Tendou-kun came into the classroom and said hi, but I was super cold to him.
He looked worried for a second, but then his friends called him and he went back to his seat.
I watched him walk away and just sighed.
“Haa… what’s with everybody…”
I know Tendou-kun isn’t like other guys.
He’s a genuinely good person, he actually gets that Mizuki and I are two separate people.
And most of all, he’s the one guy Mizuki’s ever let get this close. Of course he’s attractive.
I’m interested in him too.
I wanna talk to him more, read the books he recommended, read the novel he wrote.
I want him to know about my hobbies too.
He’s not great at sports, but like, I could show him how fun stuff like badminton or bowling can be.
But.
I don’t know if that means I like him.
I’ve never liked anyone before. After Mizuki’s first love crashed and burned, I just built up this distrust toward guys, and that’s where I’m at now. I can’t even explain what this feeling is.
I wanna ask someone.
But Mizuki’s being like that, and I can’t exactly talk to Ayaha about this right now.
If I ask my other friends, they’ll probably just tease me because lately they keep misunderstanding my thing with Tendou-kun.
…Maybe that person could tell me something.
“After school… maybe I can ask…”

Chapter 39
♤
“Hey, Tendou-kun.”
Right after school let out.
Yuzuki-san came straight over to me.
“Something up?”
“Um, I’ve got something to do today. Sorry, but can you just do club stuff with Mizuki, just the two of you?”
“Yeah, sure. Does Mizuki-san know?”
“You don’t have to tell her every little thing. She’s probably happier without me around right now anyway.”
Yuzuki-san said it like that, but her face looked kinda troubled, like something was really bothering her.
“Uh, if stuff with the teacher gets tough or whatever, just tell me anything, okay?”
“Haha, thanks. But you two are working hard on writing, so I’ll just do what I can on my own. See you tomorrow.”
After Yuzuki-san left the classroom, I headed to the club room right away too.
When I got there,
“You’re late.”
Mizuki-san was already there, laptop open, working away.
“Nah, you’re just way too early. Oh—Yuzuki-san said she’s got something today so she’s skipping club.”
“Something to do? That’s kinda rare for her. Hmm… maybe she’s being considerate for once.”
“Considerate?”
“Hehe, never mind. Anyway, come on, let’s get to work already.”
I sat down across from Mizuki-san quick. She went “ugh” like she was kinda bored, then turned her laptop so I could see the screen.
“Look, I already made our page.”
The pen name was… “Tendou Mizuki.”
“No, wait—that’s—”
“Kidding. We haven’t posted anything yet, so relax. But we gotta decide on that first or we can’t move forward. What do you think?”
“Hmm… how about ‘Amatsuki’ read as ‘Azuki’? Kinda stylish but still easy to remember, maybe?”
I just thought the sound was kinda cute, that’s all.
It was a super casual suggestion, but Mizuki-san changed the pen name right away.
“Yeah, that’s nice. You’ve really got good taste, Tendou-kun.”
“R-really? Well, glad you like it.”
“Mm-hmm, a lot. Okay, let’s copy over what we’ve got done up to yesterday onto this page. And Tendou-kun, log in to this page from your phone too? Save your drafts here and I’ll fix them up.”
I logged into the page Mizuki-san made using the URL she sent on LINE, and my section showed ‘Amatsuki’ too.
“Yep, got it.”
“Perfect. Prep done. Let’s just work on our own for a bit. I got permission from the teacher to use this room till seven tonight since we’re getting serious now.”
“Alright, I’m actually kinda pumped now. Gonna brainstorm some drafts right away.”
For a while I just stared at my phone, flicking in whatever ideas popped into my head.
I’d only ever written stuff by hand the old-school way, so using a novel posting site felt super fresh and easy.
Adding, deleting, copy-paste, even putting in furigana—everything was so quick.
Work kept moving along smooth.
About an hour later.
“Phew. Got like one whole chapter drafted.”
“Wow, fast. Lemme see.”
I saved the draft. Mizuki-san scrolled through what I wrote on her laptop for a bit, then
“Hmm… the story’s good, but”
“W-what, my writing still sucks?”
“Well, yeah, a little, but more like… the places that show up don’t feel real enough.”
“Real enough?”
“Yeah. Like here—the protagonist’s going out into town for the first time, it’s supposed to be fun, but the shops are all the same kinda places and the descriptions feel kinda flat.”
She went “hm” and got quiet for a second, then her face lit up.
“I just thought of something good.”
“Wh-what is it?”
“Let’s go on a date.”
“…A date!?”
“You don’t have to freak out that much. Like before—bookstore, tea, that kinda thing. But we go to way more places so you can get more experiences and see more stuff. That’ll make everything feel way richer.”
“Oh… yeah, makes sense. But couldn’t we just add your experiences too, Mizuki-san?”
“I don’t have any either…”
“Huh?”
“Nothing, forget it. Anyway, you’re the one who should be coming up with the story. I’m just the arranger here. So we’re going on a date.”
Mizuki-san snapped her laptop shut with a pat.
“Hmm, a date, huh. I wanna go on one too.”
The door slid open with a rattle, and there was Ayaha-san standing right there.
“Ayaha!? Why’re you here?”
“Well, I heard you were busy. Came to see what you were up to, and it’s date planning?”
“You don’t get it. It’s not a real date—it’s research we need to finish the novel.”
“Hmm. So in this novel, the protagonist only dates one girl?”
“What’re you even talking about? This has nothing to do with you.”
“Just tell me. Does he or not?”
“Th-that’s… um, what do you think, Tendou-kun?”
Both of them turned and stared me down hard.
“Uh, well… I haven’t gotten that far yet, but… I was planning to have a few heroines show up, I guess.”
“Heh, so Tendou-kun’s the one making the story. Let me read it sometime.”
“Ayaha, is that all you wanted? If so, you’re interrupting work.”
“Go on a date with me too, Tendou-kun.”
Ayaha-san stepped inside, came right up close to me, and said it straight.
“D-date…”
“It’s research, right? Then wouldn’t it be better to go with lots of different people, not just Mizuki?”
“W-well, yeah, I guess…”
While I was leaning back from Ayaha-san pushing in, I glanced at Mizuki-san—she was glaring at me with this terrifying look.
“Tendou-kun, this isn’t a game.”
“I-I know.”
“Exactly because it’s serious, shouldn’t you do everything you need to?”
“Y-yeah, I get that, but…”
I had no idea what to do with both of them crowding me like that.
My mouth just opened and closed like a fish.
Then Ayaha-san turned to Mizuki-san.
“So how about a contest?”
“Contest? What’s that supposed to mean?”
“We each go on a date with Tendou-kun, and see who can make him happier.”
“I’d love to say obviously me, but the standard’s way too vague.”
Mizuki-san threw her hands up like she gave up. Ayaha-san pulled a book out of her bag.
It was one of those light novels that got popular a while back.
“I was listening—the date stuff’s gonna go into the novel, right? Then just have him write the more fun episode.”
“So whoever doesn’t make it into the story loses. Hmm… okay, I’m in.”
“Deal then.”
They just decided something on their own.
And then, like they’d planned it, both of them looked right at me.
At the exact same time.
““After school, we’re taking turns on dates.””
