Summary

Have you changed the translation style or are the chapters really all in third person now?
I just really can’t keep up my interest like this. Since I’m used to novels being written in first person, this seems so impersonal, like a factual retelling of the events without any thoughts or emotions.

That… was not a well worded set of conditions. I’m guessing it’s going to come back and bite the MC later.
First, there is no mention of how often or how much the living expenses will be. In theory when her father returns the consent form he could just append to it a single payment – and then never send anything else. If the MC complains, he can not only point out the two prior issues, he can also state he was just being true to the third condition of non-contact.
And that is the second issue: if both parents remain true to the last condition then the two will not hear from them again for about three years – more than enough time for their parents to vanish without a forwarding address (which is what I suspect is in progress).
That the father wanted the MC to take on his surname is probably more evidence for that, since it would give the outward appearance of the MC marrying into another family and living together with his fiancee, making it even harder for the MC to speak out against anything later.
That said, this is probably for the better, since any parent that would do what he (or even the step-mother) is doing is probably not worthy of being a parent.
At least the MC is a decent person. Given there is nothing in the title or description about her being a kuudere, I’m guessing she was acting so unemotional because she was preparing for the worst. And yet she was still willing to go along with it, which suggests a bit about how bad her prior home life might have been.
I’m guessing a lot of the first few dozen chapters will be about her healing her emotional wounds and coming out of her shell due to life with the MC – and the gratefulness and affection that gradually results.
