*SPOILER TITLE* The Disengage Skill "Evade" Turns Into a "Wall Clip Bug" Under Specific Conditions! When I Clipped Through the Dungeon Wall, I Was Able To Collect An Infinite Amount of First-Time Clear Rewards and So My Stats Skyrocketed! - Chapter 12
Chapter 12: Orcs Beyond the Wall!
Piral Dungeon.
The standard requirement to tackle this E-rank dungeon was to have a party of six, level 25 adventurers.
Then there was me, a level 1 looking to solo clear this dungeon.
Once inside, you would be faced with a maze filled with dimly lit passageways. The map I had in my head was perfect, so I proceeded forward without getting lost. The goal, of course, was to claim the first clear reward for defeating the dungeon boss, and of course, I was going to claim the reward without killing the boss.
“Gugulu!”
“Ugh, this thing came out of nowhere.”
I muttered to myself as I observed the cannibal orc that had entered my sight. It was a huge monster with green skin, and gripped in his hand was a wooden club. It was the most common monster inhabiting the Piral Dungeon.
“I-I’m still scared…”
I cowered at the thought of having to face a monster I had never dealt with before. It was fine when it was just the wolf kobolds since I had gotten used to them. I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to handle the orc.
The orc took its club and swung at me.
“Whoa!”
I shouted, blocking the club with my shield.
“Ugh.”
I groaned at the weight of the blow, but thanks to the <Giant Rock Golem’s Buckler>, I didn’t take any direct damage. It would, however, seem that my body was too light, so I was sent flying toward a wall regardless.
You could say that this was precisely what I had come here for.
“<Evade>!”
I activated my skill the moment my body made contact with the wall, and my body slipped through as though the wall were sucking me in.
“So it seems like I can get through the walls by facing monsters other than the Werewolf without any problems…”
Since I had only tested my theory with the Werewolf, I was afraid that it wouldn’t work with other monsters, but thankfully, my fears were unfounded. This proved that I could clip through walls using <Evade> the moment I made contact with the wall if I was sent flying by an attack.
I really didn’t know why this was happening with <Evade>, but there was no point thinking too long on it.
“I guess it’s like a shortcut.”
I checked my current location. By clipping through the wall, I was able to skip some of the passages I was supposed to take.
It would be nice if I could use the wall clip to get to the dungeon faster, but it would be hard to do it at will. I would need to be blasted away by a monster in the right direction to take the shortcut. If I wasn’t careful, I could even get blasted away toward the entrance. It was best not to get my hopes up too high.
“I wish it was easier to clip through the wall.”
It would make conquering this maze much easier. Well, there was no point in asking for what I couldn’t have. It was better to clear the dungeon a much more reliable way.
