*SPOILER TITLE* The Disengage Skill "Evade" Turns Into a "Wall Clip Bug" Under Specific Conditions! When I Clipped Through the Dungeon Wall, I Was Able To Collect An Infinite Amount of First-Time Clear Rewards and So My Stats Skyrocketed! - Chapter 13
Chapter 13: Black Orc
“So far, so good…”
I was currently descending the stairs that led to the lower levels. With the rate at which I was progressing, it was a good thing I chose the Piral Dungeon.
Cannibal orcs were pretty slow, so as long as I could use <Evade> to get behind them, I could just run away.
With how fast my legs are, there is no way they’d catch up. I could go through the dungeon without killing any enemies. This was definitely a strategy only a solo player like me could use. If there was a slow tank or mage with me, it would be difficult to run away from the monsters at my speed.
“I should drink some MP Potions while I’m at it.”
I reached for one of the vials in my pocket and poured its contents into my mouth.
If the dungeon was full of wolf Kobolds, I could go through it without consuming any MP potions, but that was not the case in this dungeon.
Cannibal Orcs were slow when running, but agile when attacking. There were many attacks that could not be avoided without using <Evade>, which inevitably consumed a lot of MP.
It’s no exaggeration to say that it’s thanks to the MP potion that I’m able to progress through the Piral dungeon.
“But since I can’t defeat the monsters, I’ll run out of money if I keep chugging these potions like this…”
MP potions were not cheap and you needed a lot of money to keep buying them.
The best way to earn money was to go through Fassil Dungeon and retrieve a <Commencement Sword>. I had resolved myself not to go back there, but I couldn’t help but think it wouldn’t be a bad idea to return here and there.
“I’m finally here.”
Before me was the door to the boss chamber. Once inside, I would not be allowed to leave unless I defeated the bossー well, for me I could just slip through the wall.
Regardless, I was nervous. If I fail, I’ll die.
But being an adventurer meant having death as a constant companion. I’d come this far, so there was no point thinking too hard about it.
I opened the heavy door with both hands.
“GUOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
He greeted me with a roar.
“Whoa!”
I couldn’t help but exclaim in response to the roar.
Black Cannibal Orc. It was a mutant from the Cannibal orc species and was a superior species. It was more or less just a Cannibal orc many times stronger.
In its hand was an iron club.
“Don’t worry, I don’t need to kill it, I just need to make sure to carefully block a hit…”
I chanted to myself, trying to calm my fear.
“GAAAAH!”
The Black Cannibal Orc roared and swiftly jumped at me.
Fast!
Unlike the Cannibal orcs that were slow, the Black Cannibal Orc was extremely swift.
“<Evade>”
I hurriedly used my skill so that my body would move to slip through the enemy’s attacks. The Black Cannibal Orc lost sight of me for a moment as I sped up. I took that time to distance myself from the Black Cannibal Orc, positioning myself by the wall shared by the reward room.
In response to such a strange move, the Black Cannibal Orc turned its head before kicking off the ground with a roar.
If I take this next attack, I would be slammed towards the reward room.
I placed my <Giant Rock Golem’s Buckler> in front of me and gripped it with both hands.
“Gah!”
I took a savage blow from the Black Cannibal Orc and my shield sunk into my chest, causing me to lose my breath. Thankfully, I had done my research and knew that this shield would be able to withstand the orc’s heavy blow.
So as I had planned, I was sent flying straight toward the wall.
“<Evade>!”
My lungs felt like they had been crushed when the orc had slammed into me earlier and had made it difficult for me to speak, but I still managed to activate my skill.
With that, my body was sucked into the wall with a swoosh.
It seemed as though I had succeeded and felt the tension leave my body.
