- Chapter 5 Part 3 - A Single Bride
TL: Xean
ED: Chaos
TN: Yay! We’re last part for chapter 5. Wew, almost there. Thank you for reading and enjoy.
Why does she always aim for the subtly impure scenes? You really have a terrible sense of humor.
“You can reject it if you want, but in that case, I’d like to have a kissing scene.”
“Okay! Let’s do it like this!”
Thinking of avoiding such a kissing scene, I pressed my ear against Erza’s stomach.
“W-what an impure masterpiece!”
Sharon was upset while the instructor complained to Erza.
“Hey Erza, is that really a good idea?”
“I don’t understand why I have to be told off every time I do something. If you’re jealous, you can also do it too Miya.”
“I-I’m not jealous…”
“Then just shut up and watch.”
“You little cheeky…”
The instructor was being talked down by Erza. She has a rather strong character. The instructor is also strong-willed, but she seems to be weak in the face of pressure. I wonder if I should be more forceful in my affection for her.
While I was thinking about this, the photo with Erza was taken and now the photo with the instructor was next.
“What would you like to be photographed, Theo-kun? I’ll go with whatever you want.”
The other two didn’t listen to my wishes, but the instructor did. She really was classy. The vibe of a mature woman.
This is the ideal of every man. A kind, mature and caring woman.
“I don’t mind even if we can simply take pictures side by side.”
“Really? Then let’s do that.”
The instructor smiled quietly and lined up next to me. The photographer tilted his head slightly in disbelief.
“It’s too simple, Samuel, let’s add some props.”
“Props?”
“Here.”
The staff prepared a glass of wine and the photographer handed it to the instructor.
“This would add a little elegance.”
“I see.”
The instructor nodded and began to smell the wine.
“Ara, it smells good.”
“Don’t drink it, okay? And you can’t smell it too much…”
“You don’t need to remind me, I know that better than anyone.”
Then she turned to face me and said.
“Hey, Theo-kun, why don’t we do a little wedding imitation before taking our pictures?”
“Eh?”
I was confused but the instructor seemed to be enjoying herself.
“The groom Theo Fordour, will you take your Miya Samuel as your bride.
In sickness and in health, in riches and in poverty, together we will walk, one without the other, until death do us part.
Vow to love each other.
Do you swear by the sacred covenant of marriage to love, to think only of your wife, and to be with her only, until death do you part? ”
It was unusual for an instructor to play this game. I wondered if this was just an act of flirtation in the heat of the moment. If so, I decided to stop reacting earnestly and go along with it.
“Yes, I swear.”
“……”
I’m not sure if it was my imagination or not, but the instructor’s face looked a little red through the veil.
“Theo-kun, the veil… lift it up? ”
Then the instructor closed her eyes.
I could feel that my heart skipped a beat.
“Is it really okay… to do it?”
“Just kidding.”
But soon after, the instructor said jokingly.
I was both relieved and disappointed at the same time.
Even Sharon and Elsa were also somewhat relieved.
But I felt like she was not the usual instructor.
I wondered if she was just in a bad mood, or if she was already drunk from the smell of the wine.
…That’s what’s going on in my mind.
“Well whatever it is, it’s not good for the staff to keep them waiting.”
When the instructor said this, she leaned close to me and turned her body towards the camera.
“Hmm… how about something like this?”
With the glass in her hand, the instructor hugged me tightly on one arm and held me close to her.
“Mi-Miya, you’re so bold…”
“Miya’s too aggressive.”
It was just as Sharon and Erza had said. She was still unusually aggressive, probably drunk from the smell of the wine. It’s probably the same thing that happened in the bathhouse the other day. You’re still too weak to alcohol, instructor…
“Um, ……, is that okay? I’ll take a picture if you want.”
“Yes, it’s fine like this, please take the picture.”
After telling the photographer that, the instructor tightened her hold on to me even more. My arm was now buried between her large bulges, and was in a terrible state of luck. It was so warm and soft.
It was so good that I felt a natural sense of gratitude for having been born into this world.
“Instructor, just to warn you but… your chest is really hitting me hard, okay?”
“I’m not hitting my chest to your arm… you’re the one hitting my chest, okay?
“….”
“Nufufuー, maybe I should squeeze them more?”
“No, no, any more and I’ll…”
“You don’t have to be embarrassed about it, okay? You like bo*bs Theo-kun right? It’s something those two don’t have at all, so you can go ahead and ask for it all you want, okay?”
“I-I w-won’t ask for anything…! ”
“Really? So when we get married one day, you can ask for it, okay?”
“M-Marriage?”
“Theo-kun, you’ll be a stay at home husband, right? Don’t worry, I will F-E-E-D you.”
“No, I refuse to be fed!”
“Hmm. I’m sure Theo-kun is the only person who would turn down such a tempting offer. But you know what? It’s your seriousness that I like.”
Something inside of me almost collapsed when she said that in my ear, but I told myself that this was a public place and I had to control myself.
I took a few pictures with the instructor, and the photo shoot was over.
The photos were developed in the darkroom of a simple tent and handed to all of us on the spot.
We finished when the sky was completely dark, and the stars were beginning to shine.
“Th-that’s not… that wasn’t me.”
Now that the work at the church was done and the photographers had left, I listened to the instructor’s excuses. Sharon and Erza were still with me.
“The smell of the wine got to me… and… right?”
“I don’t think you don’t need to worry about it. I like the pushy instructor too.”
“Kuh…!”
The instructor’s cheeks instantly turned red when I said that.
“Theo-kun’s an idiot…!”
And then she ran off somewhere. I wondered if she was running back to the house.
I felt a slight change in the instructor’s behavior.
In the past, if I told her ‘I like you’, she would have used her guilt as a shield to reject me.
However, the current instructor didn’t do that, and ran away with a embarrassed look on her face. I wondered if something happened that made that change with the instructor.
Although I could only say vaguely, I still felt that she was a little different from the previous instructor.
“Mu~u, what am I being shown…?”
“I’m jealous. I’m pissed. I want to sleep.”
Sharon and Erza were saying such things.
“Hey Theo… Theo likes Miya after all, right?”
“You’re right. That’s why my body moved on its own and protected her.”
“I’ll support Theo’s return, but I’m not rooting for you and Miya.”
“I won’t either. I’d rather get in your way.”
“Do what you want. I wouldn’t blame you.”
I’m sure they have their own thoughts and feelings, and that’s not something I can control. I think you should do what you want to do. So you won’t leave any regrets.
“Anyway, I’m going to go shopping now, what about you guys?”
“It’s getting late so I’m going home for the day. Also, the kids are waiting for me.”
“I’m going home to prepare for my mission.”
“Okay. Well, have a safe trip home.”
So we disbanded and I went to the market by myself.
“Hey, isn’t that Theo-kun?”
In the middle of shopping, I ran into Sadie, the receptionist at the Imperial City Central Branch of the Musketeer’s Association. This is the first time I’ve run into her outside of the reception desk.
“Are you shopping too, Theo-kun?”
“Yes, that’s right.”
“I see. How’s the progress with Miya?”
“No, there’s nothing in particular…”
I see. But Miya is trying to change, isn’t she?”
“Eh?”
“Please wait a little longer”, Sadie smiled and said.
Does she know anything about the change I sensed in the instructor earlier?
However, if she told me to wait, I would not ask further and just wait for the right moment.
“By the way Theo-kun, I have a few questions for you.”
“What is it?”
“You’re acquainted with Galesciano-san, aren’t you?”
I’m a little offended to hear that name mentioned, but I respond calmly.
“…It’s not that we’re acquaintances, it’s just that we were in the same class at the training school.”
And it is more than just jealousy and obsession.
“What’s wrong with Galesciano? I’m sure he originally belonged to the Central Division, right?”
“Yes, he was. Actually, we’ve lost track of him.”
“He’s missing…?”
“Yes. Ever since the other day, he hasn’t shown up at 《Paladin’s Garden》at all, and his parents have filed a missing person report. So the Central Office has been asked to provide information as well. Theo-kun, do you know anything?”
“No, nothing in particular…”
“I haven’t seen Galesciano since I ran into him at the orphanage a few days ago. He’s not my friend, so I don’t keep track of him and I’m not interested.”
“I see. If you do see him, please let me know.”
“Okay. I will do that if I see him.”
After this conversation, I parted ways with Sadie-san.
(That guy is missing…?)
Honestly speaking, I don’t care. He’s just like a foreign enemy. I don’t care what happens to him.
Well, if I see him… I’ll at least say hello.
It would be against my conscience not to cooperate in any way. If I see him, I’ll talk to him, and report to Sadie-san.
However, I will not actively search for him on my own. With this in mind, I continued my shopping.
