C2 Part 3
“What is it? What do you want to know? My three sizes? ”
“That’s not it! You don’t have to tell me that!”
I denied with all my might, but Tsukimiya muttered something like, “It’s fine if it’s Yuugo.” …… I’m really not good at dealing with her.
There’s only one person whose three sizes I want to know right now and it’s Tenshin’s.
I glanced over at Tenshin and saw her happily chatting with her friends.
Cute. I like it.
“Then, what do you want to ask me? ”
“It’s nothing big… I just really wanted your email address…”
“Hi~yau!”
Hi~yau?
” Th-that m-means… Yu-yuugo wants to message me…?
“Y-yeah, that’s why I’m asking you.”
“I-I see…”
Was she okay? She seemed somewhat uncomfortable since earlier on….
“Maybe you don’t have a smartphone?”
I had exchanged contact information with Yuno, but after putting some more thought into it, I seemed to have forgotten that these guys were gods, afterall.
Duh. Isn’t it normal for fantasy girls to have a smartphone or other electronic devices?
“No, I have a smartphone.”
“Oh, You have one?”
I was surprised when Tsukimiya pulled her phone out of her skirt pocket.
“Then what was with that subtle reaction? You don’t want to trade email addresses with me? ”
“N-no, t-that’s not it….”
I asked, to which Tsukimiya denied aggressively. It was a relief. I would’ve been shocked if she said she didn’t want to.
“Then… why? ”
“Th-that… I’m just so happy to be able to exchange e-mail addresses with Yuugo…”
An embarrassed Tsukimiya said while hiding her lips behind her phone. This is, um, kind of… Sorry.
“I-I see….”
“… yeah”
An uncomfortable atmosphere fell between the two of us, just like in the past.
“D-do you want to trade now?”
“Y-yeah!”
I heard Tsukimiya’s happy reply and we exchanged email addresses.
Immediately afterward, Tsukimiya murmured, “I’ll send about 100 texts to Yuugo every day from now on…” but of course I refused, saying, “Please don’t do that”.
Had I not refused properly at this time, Tsukimiya would have seriously planned to send me 100 messages a day. Lucky for me, I’m a Japanese person who can say no.
Later that night, I sat in my room while texting Tsukimiya’s sister.
The subject, of course, being the matter of her date with her older sister.
「Have you already asked Tsukimiya out on a date?」
And sent. The reply came in a matter of milliseconds. It would seem that Yuno was very fast with texts. She’s so fast at messaging me that I’m kind of pitying the god of messaging.
「 …… I was able to ask her out and she agreed 」
“Aah, seriously!?”
I shouted at the unexpected reply.
To be honest, I didn’t think it was possible to make that move today based on the way we exchanged messages during the breaks.
I wasn’t expecting, but nice work Yuno.
「 But how did you invite her? 」
「 I asked my sister out under the guise of going to help her with her human romances.」
「Helping human romances? What does that mean?」
「 A god of romantic comedy needs to use her power to support people in their romances on a regular basis. We’re doing it during this holiday. And, of course, it’s a date with her.」
Regularly supporting romances? That sounds like a lot of work. As expected of gods.
「So, where’s the location? 」
「It’s the shopping mall near the station」
When I exchanged messages with Tsukimiya earlier, I got the information on the best places to go on a date. She mentioned this as one of the places she wanted to go to.
Then I immediately sent the information to Yuno …… and I’m glad to hear it was helpful. This is of course why I exchanged email addresses with Tsukimiya in class today.
As a side note, while we were exchanging texts, Tsukimiya barraged me with messages saying something like, “What’s your favorite food? <3” or “What is your hobby? <3” .
It was really hard to respond to the messages.
And she kept adding heart marks at the end of words for no reason!
「So far, so good. Now we just need to get that date with Tsukimiya so you can get along well.”」
「Y-yeah… Hey, I have a question for you.」
「What do you want to ask? What is it? 」
「Aren’t you… disgusted by the fact that I like nee-san? 」
I was honestly surprised to receive such a message.
But at the same time, I pictured Yuno’s uneasy expression.
「It’s true that falling in love with one’s own sister is a strange thing both in the human and divine worlds…. But I don’t find it disgusting. It’s up to you to decide who you love. And love is something you can’t stop once you get it started.」
I answered honestly. I’m in love with Tenshin, so I can say it with confidence.
「I-I see… What a pretty good saying coming from a virgin.」
「Right? Virgin is unnecessary, though.」
How many more times is she going to call me a virgin?
「Also, can you do me a favor?」
「After saying that abruptly… Ha~a… What is it?」
「Will you accompany me on that date… with nee-san? 」
This blew my mind. I never heard of a date with a chaperone. I’ve never heard of that kind of date in my whole life.
「You don’t need me. I’ll just get in your way.」
「Th-That’s not true. Because… I would get absolutely nervous just being alone with nee-san. There’s a big chance the date might go south.」
You should have some confidence in yourself.
「But according to the school idol, dating can fix family relationships easily.」
「So, who is this school idol?」
「……It’s Tenshin.」
「Tenshin? Isn’t that the woman you like? Can we really trust what she says? 」
「Of course.」
「Hmm… Suspicious.」
「She’s not suspicious.」
You’re too skeptical. Tenshin’s not like that.
「Hey, will you go? 」
「I want you to go with me.」
「Please!」
Please stop spamming me with texts. I said I would help improve their relationships but I’m not comfortable with all these requests……
「…… All right. All I have to do is act as a chaperone with your sister’s date, right? 」
「Th-that’s right! Thank you! 」
When I agreed, she thanked me unexpectedly. I didn’t know she knew the word “thank you”. I thought all those words had been erased from her vocabulary.
The message exchange ended after Yuno sent me a text message with the time and meeting place. Yuno was replying so fast till the end.
A grueling holiday. Normally I would be lounging around at home, watching video recordings, playing games, or reading manga, but today was different.
It was early morning. I was standing alongside two girls in front of a weird object near a busy station.
“Wh-why is Yu-yuugo here?
The one who was so surprised to see me was Tsukimiya, who was stuttering with her words.
She was dressed in a plain t-shirt and denim bottoms.
It was a bit rough, but as expected of an otherworldly beauty, she was a cut above your average girl.
If she were to walk the streets alone, she’d probably be hit on by dozens of people every minute.
“As for the reason….”
As I replied to a confused Tsukimiya, I looked next to the girl beside her.
“…… Hey. You didn’t tell her about me? ”
I whispered to Yuno.
She was wearing a shoulder-length dress to show off her shoulders, indicating she was excited about the date.
“I-I can’t help it. There’s no way I can explain it.”
“No, you should explain it. Whose fault is it that we had to come to this crowd on a holiday morning in the first place?”
“It’s not my fault!
“It’s definitely your fault.”
“Ugh…”
Yuno choked up. See, I think you know what I’m talking about…
“A-anyway, I can’t explain it to nee-san. Seeing her any more with that cute look of hers is……”
With blushing cheeks, Yuno pushed my body forward. What a selfish god!
“Yu-Yu-Yuugo? Wha-wha-what sh-should we do?”
And right in front of me was a flustered Tsukimiya.
