Yamamoto-kun's Youth Revenge [Dropped] - 81 - Operation Cooking Part 5
"Please support me on Ko-fi! Thank you!"
Chapter 81: Operation Cooking Part 5
“I’m already full. Thank you for the meal,” said Kashiwagi-san, wiping her hands and mouth with a napkin before sipping her tea contentedly.
As I prepared the sushi, it was a pleasant sight to see them elegantly delivered one after another to Kashiwagi-san’s mouth.
Although I wasn’t able to hold hands with Kashiwagi-san during our summer festival date, being able to make sushi for her is a big step forward.
“Hey, how much did you eat?” Lilia, who was drinking tea at the next table, looked at Kashiwagi-san with a surprised expression.
In the end, she nonchalantly ate about four more servings.
Despite her cool appearance, Kashiwagi-san seems to have a surprisingly big appetite.
“It’s literally Yamamoto’s homemade cooking, so it was delicious and I couldn’t stop eating. Hey, Yamamoto, don’t just keep cooking, eat some yourself too.”
“Haha, actually, I tasted it too much before you guys came… so I’ve already eaten enough.”
“Oh, is that so? By the way, my cooking should be ready now. Wait for me while I bring it,” Kashiwagi-san said, rushing to the kitchen with oven mitts on.
But soon after she returned with a black lump in her hand, which Lilia looked at skeptically.
“Is Kashiwagi-san a bad cook? This looks burnt so badly.”
Judging by her reaction to the dark matter, she clearly thought it was a failure.
However, Kashiwagi-san seemed proud of herself.
“Here, Ahh~.”
“Hey! What are you doing— muguhh!”
Kashiwagi-san tears off a piece of the black mass and pushes it into Lilia’s mouth.
If you just looked at the scene, it was a precious moment.
Lilia-chan’s eyes sparkled as the black lump was pushed into her mouth.
“It’s sweet! It’s moist and really delicious!” she exclaimed.
“Is it… brownies?” I asked, and Kashiwagi-san nodded.
“Yeah, I can only make sweet desserts. I usually just make them and eat them myself.”
“I wonder if we can call baking a pastry as cooking…?”
“Well, it worked out perfectly as a dessert, so it’s all good,”
Kashiwagi-san said, serving the brownies on a plate and taking a seat.
I also tried one and exclaimed, “Wow, it’s really delicious!”
Not just flattery, but truly the most delicious brownie I’ve ever had.
Watching my reaction, Kashiwagi smugly crossed her arms.
“The real thing is different, you know? Japanese ones are more like bread.”
“Yes! It’s so rich and gooey! Can you teach me how to make it later? I love cooking!”
“Oh, sure. Let’s make it together later with Lilia. Homemade sweets taste better, you know.”
“Eh~ I’m more better at eating than cooking, though~”
“I won’t feed these brownies to a girl who says that.”
Kashiwagi took the plate from Lilia with a mischievous grin.
“Ah~ okay, okay! I’ll make some too, so let me eat that brownie! Taking it away after just one bite is cruel torture! It violates the Geneva Convention!”
The exchange between the two beautiful girls like sisters was sweeter and more precious than the brownie I was eating. It filled my heart with reverence.
“By the way, we have leftover sushi toppings.”
While eating brownies, Kashiwagi murmured to herself. Even though she said she was full, it seemed that she had a separate stomach for sweets.
“Yes, you’re right. Sorry, I got carried away… Should we pickle the remaining sashimi so it can be frozen and kept fresh? We could use it for tempura, teriyaki, ajillo, or fry later, and it would still be delicious.”
As I said that, Lilia reached out and stopped me.
“Wait a minute. I’ll call someone else who’s hungry. He’s probably still at the hospital, studying without even taking proper meals.”
Saying so, Lilia took out her phone and made a call.
