Chapter 7: Lilia
Three people had left the room, and the last one who remained was Lilia.
Lilia.
Just like Chloe, she was a noble, the eldest daughter of the Ashford family, which was one of the three great noble families in this country. Incidentally, while the Chloe family might not be among the top three, they still held considerable power and were counted among the eight major noble families.
Lilia was a beauty who in no way paled in comparison to the other three. Despite belonging to one of the powerful families that effectively controlled the nation, she was neither arrogant nor haughty. She treated everyone equally, whether commoner or noble. Gentle and willing to share any knowledge she possessed, Lilia genuinely cared for those around her. Among both female and male students, she garnered high levels of support. While Aria was revered as an angel or a saint and was deified, Lilia was recognized as the approachable ‘oneechan’ everyone loved.
With her long blue hair and clear blue eyes that evoked the depth of the ocean, Lilia captivated those around her. She had a large bust that seemed to envelop and indulge others, and while she appeared self-conscious about it, her curvaceous figure also contributed to her appeal among the male students.
“Roa-kun, I’m truly sorry. I’ve always said that I was like your big sister, and yet I’ve done something this terrible. I’m really sorry.”
“…Lilia.”
Tears welled up at the corners of Lilia’s eyes. Her face was as hollow as Mia’s and the others’, her cheeks gaunt. It was easy to surmise that she hadn’t eaten properly or slept for days.
“…So you won’t call me ‘Lilia-oneechan’ anymore, huh? I get it. You wouldn’t want to consider someone as pathetic and trashy as me to be your big sister. If you did, it’d be embarrassing, right? I’m sorry.”
“No, it’s not that. Chloe is here, and like I said before, it’s just embarrassing because we’re not alone…”
“It’s okay, you don’t have to hide it. I know I’m not fit to be your Onee-chan anymore.”
Lilia let out a dry, broken laugh as if she was exhausted from everything, as if she had lost all attachment to this world. Tears streamed down her face.
“Hey, Roa-kun. I can never be your big sister again, can I? We can’t go back to how things were. We can’t even be friends anymore, can we? I don’t think I can go on living.”
Lilia’s face began to lower gradually, her voice trailing off until it was so faint it seemed as though it might disappear.
Before she had wronged me, she always spoiled me; yet when we were alone, she herself was spoiled. Now there was no trace of that—only a girl who seemed lost and hopeless.
“I’m just trash that can’t do anything without you, Roa-kun. I’m sorry for repaying your kindness with evil. Would it be better if I wasn’t here? Should I just die?”
“Calm down, Lilia. I don’t want you to die. I don’t want you to harm yourself.”
“You’re kind, Roa-kun. Even after what I’ve done, you still say such things to me. But you see, I can’t forgive myself. I utterly loathe myself.”
Lilia’s eyes, tinged with hatred, spoke those words.
What could I say to make her forgive herself?
Mia, Aria, Ellie, Lilia—
They all wanted punishment, not the kind they would inflict upon themselves, but the kind that I would give them.
If that’s the case, even if it’s just a consolation…
“…Lilia, calm down. We might not be able to go back to the way things were, but—”
“…Right, that’s why I—”
“—we can still start anew.”
The hatred in Lilia’s eyes faded slightly, returning to their original clear blue.
“But, I can’t forgive myself… I’m just leaning on you, Roa-kun.”
“That’s why… I’d like to ask you, Lilia, to assist me in walking. As you can see, I can’t walk right now. I want you to help me so that I can.”
“Is that… okay?”
“Roa, are you sure?”
“Yeah, it’s okay, Chloe. So, can you help me, Lilia-oneechan?”
At my request, Lilia’s face took on a surprised expression, then shifted to something resembling the kind Lilia I once knew. “Sure, if it’s your wish, Roa-kun, then of course,” she replied firmly.
TLN
I can’t decide which one would be better, “Lilia-Onee-chan” or “Big Sister Lilia.”
If you guys have some suggestions, comment below.

I don’t know man. This guy is just glossing over PTSD, he shouldn’t even be able to hear their names let alone be friendly with them agited in from of him.
PS, I know its late but I guess I’d pick “oneechan” over big sis”
