Chapter 15: Chaos
“…Huh?”
I couldn’t comprehend what had just happened, not in the slightest.
It was only when the arm of the nobleman, who had been pointing his finger and grinning until just a moment ago, danced through the air and fell to the classroom floor with a raw, thudding sound that I finally understood the situation.
The classroom fell silent.
Blood flowed incessantly from the nobleman’s severed arm.
Caught off guard, I couldn’t say or do anything. Then, in the next instant, not just that man but also the legs of other noblemen were cut off. They lost their balance and tumbled face-first onto the floor.
After a few moments of silence, screams erupted from around the classroom, making it impossible to maintain any order.
“Insulting Roa-sama… There’s no way that can be forgiven?”
“I can handle being insulted all you want, but insulting Roa is unforgivable. I’ll torment them thoroughly before killing them. I’ll even dismember and ship their bodies. They’ll serve as decent orc food, at least.”
Mia and Aria muttered dispassionately. Despite having severed people’s hands and feet, they showed little to no concern for their victims. From their muddy, clouded eyes emanated a level of rage that could only be described as madness.
At this point, something completely unexpected happened.
“Roa-kun, good morning… What’s going on here?”
“Roa… Good morning.”
Lilia and Ellie also entered the classroom.
“These lowlifes, who are even worse than trash, insulted Roa-sama. Saying things like ‘So you’ve come to school again, you piece of trash,’ ‘You’re still alive? Just go die. We don’t need trash like you in this school,’ and ‘That’s right, this is no place for commoners like you.’ So we are administering appropriate punishment.”
Aria explained the situation to the approaching Lilia and Ellie. As they heard, their eyes also darkened, filling with an atmosphere that felt as though they could kill everyone in the room right there and then.
“Ufufu, is that so? There are still people who would say such things to my precious Roa-kun. I think people who say such cruel things have no place in this school… They shouldn’t even exist.”
“…Roa, leave this to me.”
Just as the two were about to administer further punishment to the noblemen, my body finally moved. I hugged Lilia and Ellie, making them shudder and halt their magic incantations.
If I hadn’t done this, they likely wouldn’t have stopped.
Taking advantage of this moment, Chloe went over to the bloodied noblemen and began to cast healing spells on them.
“Lilia, Ellie, it’s okay. I’m not angry anymore. You can’t hurt these people any more than this. Besides, if you really killed them, even Lilia-oneechan would find it troublesome, right?”
“But… Roa-kun, I can’t bring myself to forgive these worthless people.”
“Roa, I can’t either. I absolutely can’t forgive them.”
Seeing that the two still looked at them with eyes full of deep anger, as if they were looking at trash, I hugged them even tighter to prevent them from getting any closer.
“No, you can’t go any further; they’ll really die. I’m not angry anymore. It’s okay.”
“Mm… A-alright, Roa-kun.”
“…Fine. If you insist that much, Roa.”
It seemed they finally understood and completely halted their actions. The eyes that were previously filled with anger returned to their murky state—actually, they seemed to be even murkier than before, as if the viscosity had increased.
“Roa-kun… Can you keep hugging me like this for a while? Otherwise, I might end up killing them.”
“Me too, please.”
Resigned to the situation, I continued to hold them when an even sharper murderous intent flew in, causing my body to involuntarily shudder.
When I turned my gaze, I saw that Aria and Mia were now directing that intent towards Ellie and Lilia.
“…Roa, I also feel like I might kill them. Can you please stop me?”
“…Roa-sama, I also can’t seem to control myself.”
Just as they seemed about to direct their magic towards the noblemen Chloe was caring for, I hugged them to distract them, just like I did with Lilia and Ellie.
“Mm… Roa. Let’s stay like this… forever.”
“Ah… Roa, sama.”
Both Mia and Aria displayed blissful smiles and fully entrusted their bodies to me.
