When I Brought The Lost Little Girl To Her House, The One Who Came Out Of The Front Door Was The Most Beautiful Girl In The Grade. - Chapter 2
Now, I find myself in an unbelievable situation… Who would have thought that the girl I helped find her way home would turn out to be a beautiful first-year student from my school? And not only that, she even cooked me a meal.
Such a development straight out of a light novel, anyone would envy…
“…roda-kun, Kuroda-kun!”
Called out by my last name, I snap out of my daydream.
“What’s wrong? You seemed lost in thought.”
“Oh, it’s nothing. I was just thinking about my safety…”
“Huh? Are you saying Kuroda-kun, you are being targeted by assassins or some black organization?”
I said it as a joke, but I never expected her to play along. It seems the girl known as the most beautiful in our year is surprisingly easygoing.
I wonder if I should come up with some story about being pursued by a black organization…
“No, it’s just that if this situation were to be discovered… I might end up getting killed by all the guys out there…”
“Well, it’s true. I mean, coming to such a beautiful girl’s house and being treated to a meal… That’s quite a lucky position, huh?”
Did she just say that herself? I thought it was just a normal situation, but I can’t deny that she’s really cute.
“fufu!, don’t worry! I don’t think anyone will find out.”
She covers her mouth with her hand, gently laughing and swaying her black hair.
But, is it okay to bring a guy to her place? We’re not that close, and we’re not even dating. She’s the most beautiful girl in our year, so there must be at least one or two guys who are her boyfriend. At least, that’s what the rumors say…
I couldn’t help but be curious, so I decided to ask.
“Um, so, Shira-kawa-san…”
“Hmm? What is it?”
“Do you have a boyfriend?” Just as I was about to ask, her younger sister’s energetic voice interrupted, saying she wants to eat dinner.
“Oh, alright. Just wait a little longer, okay?”
“Okay! Got it!”
“As expected of my little sister! Such a good girl!”
She pats her on the head. The smile on Shirakawa’s face at that moment looked genuinely happy.
It seems she loves her younger sister a lot. That smile while patting her head made me feel like I witnessed a close bond between siblings.
“I’m sorry, it looked like you wanted to ask something…”
“Oh, it’s fine now.”
I held my head in my hands, realizing that I completely missed the right moment. If she has a boyfriend and he finds out about this, it’s going to be troublesome…
I need to come up with an excuse even now, while sitting in the chair and thinking. However, nothing comes to mind.
There’s no way anyone would forgive me after witnessing this situation, unless we were a childhood friend.

“Okay, it’s done!”
Shirakawa brings the dish with a lively voice. Today’s dish was an omelet rice.
It looks just like a yellow dress.
“It looks delicious.”
“Right? Right!? Try it quickly!”
“Bon appétit.”
“Bon appétit!”
Together with Shirakawa’s younger sister, we bring the omelet rice to our mouths. The combination of the creamy egg and ketchup is outstanding, and the deliciousness spreads throughout my mouth.
“Shirakawa-san, it’s really delicious.”
“Shirakawa-san? Are you talking about my sister?”
She smirks and looks at my face. This expression says that if I don’t call her by her name, she won’t respond.
“Shirakawa-nee, this omelet rice is really delicious.”
“Oh, there we go.”
She says it in a somewhat indifferent tone, giving me permission even without using her name.
Without realizing it, I finished up the omelet rice.
“Thank you for the meal.”
“Thank you for eating~”
“Tha-ku… ea-ng~”
I can’t make out what Shirakawa’s younger sister is saying, her mouth is full.
“Alright, alright. Thanks properly after you finish what’s in our mouths, okay?”
Seeing that, Shirakawa said in an exasperated tone.
Watching these sisters, I can’t help but break into a smile. I tried my best to hide it, but it was a futile effort.
