The time when I forcibly slept with my friend's sister!

“You coming to school tomorrow?” It was after Yui and Riku finished their official meeting with the former’s parents, that Ichinose asked.

Ichinose was watching TV in the living room…as a distraction from the conversation Riku was having with his parents. More than curious, Ichinose was stressed about Riku. Knowing his mother, Ichinose’s concern seemed valid.

However, seeing Riku being in his natural zone, made Ichinose somewhat, relieved. Although he was curious to know why Yui had such a depressing aura around her, he decided to ask his sister later.

“Yeah, of course. Being absent any longer would probably affect my final results. You know the attendance requirement and all.” Riku, in general, doesn’t miss school much, however, these past few weeks have been unfortunate for him.

Truth be told, he wanted to be alone for some time and contemplate his life situation…however, being a student he didn’t have the luxury of behaving like an adult.

“Before finals, we need to think about mid-terms. It’s already July and you haven’t finished the syllabus. When will you revise?”

Riku made a troubled expression being reminded of the mid-terms—however, it wasn’t like Ichinose said something displeasing here, so he soon fixed his expression and sighed.

“I know…just want to first sort out things and haah…” By now, Riku was not even sure where to start and where to end.

“If you want I can help you prepare the important notes while you finish the pending work. In that way, I will also go through the necessary topics?”

Riku’s eyes flashed with a shine of gratification when suddenly, Yui chimed,

“I can also help Nii-san prepare Senpai’s notes.”

“Don’t you have your own exams, Yui? It’s better you focus on that.” Riku’s rebuttal was so instant that Yui shivered before her brightened face; fell.

Ichinose felt slightly bad for his sister but there was nothing wrong with what Riku said.

“Alright then, I will start the work from tonight.”

Bidding farewell to his friend, Riku left the Tsukasa residence at around five.

The distance from the entrance of the mansion to the main gate was approximately four hundred meters; allowing Yui a considerable time to spend with her Senpai.

Despite the previous scolding her intention to be with him never wavered—even though she didn’t have anything in mind to talk with him.

Her guilt and grief were weighing on her shoulders, restricting her from even looking at her Senpai in the eyes.

Despite the previous commitment Riku made in front of her parents, it was given that he still hasn’t forgiven Yui….a truth which despite being bitter needed to be accepted.

“Since how long have you been in love with me, Yui?”

“Ah…” Whether it was because she was deeply muddled in her thoughts or the nature of the question was too direct, Yui made a strange sound.

Regardless, Riku didn’t say anything further and waited for her response.

Being a little embarrassed, she somehow uttered an answer, “Since I was in my final year of middle school….sorry for not telling you about it earlier.”

Riku remained silent, but it didn’t mean his mind was silent as well.

Within, he knew that Yui’s intention of drugging him to make him her lover was because Riku used to see Yui, as his sister. Well, sort of. So there was no need for him to ask, ‘Why did you use such a ridiculous method Yui, rather than simply telling me.’

It doesn’t justify her act, but still, there was an unjustifiable reason why Yui would go to such a length to acquire his love.

“…and? Is there anything else you are hiding from me?” Riku hoped that to not be the case.

However, “Umm…I have torn and stopped more than forty-four letters and confessions from reaching Senpai in these three years of high school. And some bribing and manipulation here and there.”

The most crucial damage was done, so Yui didn’t find it necessary any longer to keep such small things hidden.

“Manipulation and bribing…I suppose it is for you to spend more time with me?” Riku felt a little narcissistic saying such words, however, he had valid reasons. And seeing Yui nod, albeit hesitantly, proved his point.

They reached the main gate and the point where they detached, however, Yui didn’t want to let him go on this note.

After mustering up a month’s worth of courage, she weakly held his hand and uttered in a shaky yet determined voice,

“Senpai…I know I have made many mistakes that cannot be forgiven. I have done some hideous things to gain your affection and even tried harming people who came between us…however, none of it changes the fact that my feelings for you have always remained genuine. I may have concealed them in fear of getting rejected, but not any longer.”

Directing her tear-stained eyes toward his, she concluded, “From now on, I won’t hide my affection for you and won’t partake in any underhand method to gain your attention. I will just expose my love for you, bare and straight.”

It wouldn’t be an understatement to say that Riku was moved by the sincerity she put behind those words of confession. Yui never said that she was guilty of removing the ‘obstacles’ she deemed to be coming in her way…rather she seemed more motivated to use straightforward methods to make him entirely hers.

It was a declaration that she was done hiding her untamed and possessive love for her Senpai.

Even though he was angry with her. Even though she has committed a blunder in the process of obtaining his love. Even though she doesn’t deserve his forgiveness—it no longer matters.

Yui was now extremely determined to become one with her Senpai again. The love she saw in his eyes when he confessed his love back in the cafeteria…she would do everything in her power to regain that look from Senpai.

In response, Riku got so overwhelmed by her determination and strong feelings, that he could only give her an ambiguous look before leaving the premises.

He was in dire need to sort his feelings.
