The time when I forcibly slept with my friend's sister! - Chapter 69- Loser!
It has been around a month since Riku came to meet Yui’s parents—to officially announce his relationship with their daughter.
The meeting went fine, and since then Yui’s parents haven’t raised any topic that could signify their reluctance to let her date Riku.
However, the main problem that has arisen in their relationship is the increasing gap between the two.
Although Yui tried really hard to lessen the gap she had created by committing that act on her brother’s birthday, Riku only pushed her away. He was hurt and betrayed by her actions and needed some time to collect his feelings before he could accept her again. And considering how mid-term examinations were also around the corner, he asked her to ‘maintain some distance for the time being’.
That day, when Riku out of frustration told Yui to stay away from him, after school—she was beyond devastated. She didn’t remember for how long she cried, but the next day she had to take medicines to retain her consciousness. She didn’t want to create a scene by allowing others, including her family members, to know about her situation that’s why she majorly remained cooped up in her room.
As Riku asked, she no longer bothered him in the school nor insisted on visiting his home as well. He didn’t want to see her face—a fact that was killing her every single day.
Every single day, Yui went to his profile and texted him ‘Good morning’ or ‘Have you had lunch’ but never received any reply from him.
Her life has been like this ever since, and it was already late August.
She just… didn’t know where her life was heading…all she wanted was to gain her Senpai’s attention and affection…but in the end, she lost him entirely.
“Yui…” Hearing her brother’s words, Yui lifted her tired eyes from the plate before asking him wordlessly.
Ichinose’s eyes were filled with nothing but concern as he saw his sister holding the chopstick for the past thirty minutes yet only a single bite from the fish had been consumed.
“I am going to my room, Nii-san…” Leaving the table she dazedly returned to her room without any further ado.
Ichinose’s heart clenched at the condition of his sister. He has never seen her like this. Even when their father shouted at Yui for the first time, she wasn’t that sad.
‘This can’t continue for long…’ Clenching his fist, Ichinose got up and called the driver.
He needed to have a man-to-man conversation with a certain someone.

Around seven in the evening, Riku heard his house’s main entrance being unlocked. Since he was in the kitchen he didn’t bother checking.
It should be the mother—he expected.
However, the person who walked inside the living room greatly surprised Riku.
“Ichi? You didn’t tell me you are coming over.”
Ichinose didn’t halt or speak before he reached inside the kitchen and stared at Riku with a cold glint flashing in his eyes.
Riku was taken aback by that stare; however, before he could ask ‘What’s wrong?’, Ichinose spoke up,
“What the hell is wrong with you? Why are you ignoring Yui?”
His voice was devoid of any of the usual vigor nor he seemed to be in any mood of pranking Riku at all. All he could see was anger and frustration in Ichinose’s eyes.
Sobering up, Riku replied in an equally solemn tone, “It’s between us…don’t tr-”
“Shut up! Just shut the fuck up!”
Riku was suddenly pushed to the wall with his collar being held by Ichinose. Riku was taken aback by the suddenness of the situation that’s why he wasn’t able to stop himself from being pushed back.
“Who gave you the right to act such childishly and detach yourself from her?! What have you taken yourself for?!”
“It’s none…of your business.” Riku, in a composed tone, held Ichinose’s wrists and pulled his hand away from his collar.
Ichinose gritted his teeth, as he retorted, “You won’t understand how it feels to see your younger sibling breaking down every single day! You won’t understand, you bastard!”
Ichinose didn’t bottle his anger and punched Riku’s abdomen with a tightly held fist.
“Guh!” Ichinose, by no means, was a weak person. Playing different sports and occasionally weight lifting have increased his strength by quite many times, than the time he last hit Riku—signifying such a reaction from Riku.
“That hurts, you asshole!”
*BAM*
“Akh!” Ichinose groaned as Riku held his shoulder and jabbed his left knee into Ichinose’s abdomen.
Staggering on his feet, Ichinose didn’t falter from glaring at Riku as he spat, “You are nothing but an indecisive fool who cannot stomach the fact that Yui, such a sweet innocent girl loves you so much! Accept that you are nothing but a loser!”
Riku intended to raise his arm and block the incoming assault, however, upon hearing Ichinose’s words, he froze in track; resulting,
*DHAK*
“Ou…” It was Ichinose who winced since he himself wasn’t expecting to punch Riku’s face.
On the other side, Riku’s head hung low with his hair now covering most of his face.
Although Ichinose was guilty of hitting his friend so hard, he seized the opportunity and continued his verbal onslaught,
“I know you better than anyone, Riku. I know that you can’t comprehend the fact that Yui loves you more than anyone…including her own family. She has always kept you as her priority. You are aware of how much she is hurt by being ignored by you, and yet, you are punishing both yourself and her by not sorting things out through communication. You are just being an annoying bastard, nothing less!”
Ichinose vented all the frustration in one go, without holding back. He has been tolerating this gloomy atmosphere in his house and around his best friend for quite a long. But no more.
Advancing toward Riku, Ichinose held him by his collar again, and declared his bidding words,
“You once told me that you will not let Yui cry…ever. And now, you are the only reason for her tears. Reflect on that Riku, and do something about it.”
Leaving those words, Ichinose walked out of the house.

A/N:- So here is the thing. The reason the update has become slow was because I was planning how to end this story.
I made up drama plans and created some slice-of-life chapters…but it was getting difficult for my heart to write those chapters. Imagine, Yui being enthusiastically approaching her Senpai, only for her to be ignored. Yeah, that was painful for me. That’s why I wrote it in a summary and now we are heading toward a satisfactory ending with no unnecessary drama.
Yui has already suffered a lot.
