The S-Class Beautiful Sisters at My New School Somehow Got Super Attached to Me and Ended Up Becoming Yandere Without Me Even Realizing It - Chapter 65-66
Chapter 65
♤
“Morning, Asuka. Another week starting today, huh.”
Nakanishi’s way-too-cheerful voice for a gloomy Monday morning echoed down the quiet school road with hardly anyone around.
“Morning, Nakanishi. How come you’re always this hyped up?”
“Asking the opposite—school is not fun for you or what, Asuka?”
“Me? Nah, it’s not like it’s not fun or anything.”
“Yeah right. The ‘Wandering Perfect Bowler’ who’s got the hottest sister duo in school on both sides—how could that possibly not be fun?”
“I keep telling you I’m not… wait, what did you just say?”
“What, you don’t know the nickname everyone’s calling you?”
“First I’m hearing it. What kinda lame, makes-no-sense nickname is that?”
“Huh? Come on. Split’s a bowling term, right? So it fits you perfectly since you conquered those two.”
Where’s the fit, exactly.
Plus, if you’re throwing a split, the perfect’s already busted anyway.
Seriously, who the hell came up with that nickname.
“And hey, stop saying ‘conquered’ like that. I’m just friends with both of them. It’s rude to them.”
“Haha, chill, don’t get mad. Everyone just loves gossip, y’know. Oh—speak of the devil, there she is… which one though?”
Nakanishi tilted his head, and following his gaze, I saw the back of a beautiful girl with long hair flowing behind her.
“Ah, Mizuki-san.”
“Oh, good morning, Tendou-kun. And who’s your friend there?”
“Yeah, my classmate Nakanishi. He’s been super nice to me ever since I transferred here.”
“H-hi, nice to meet you… wait, have we met before? Uh, I’m Nakanishi anyway.”
“Thanks for being so good to Tendou-kun. But sorry, your time hanging out with him is limited, so I can’t let you have more.”
“Limited?”
Nakanishi went stiff as a board and tilted his head again, and Mizuki-san just smiled all calm and cool.
“Because Tendou-kun belongs to me.”
She said that, then added, “See you later, Tendou-kun,” and walked off ahead, her shiny hair swaying.
◇
“Dude, what the hell did that mean? Hey Asuka, hey, come on—”
Ever since Mizuki-san dropped that weird line and left, Nakanishi kept coming over to my desk every break period, asking the exact same thing over and over.
“Like I keep saying, it’s not whatever you’re imagining.”
“Then what did she mean?”
“Look—me and Mizuki-san write novels together, that’s all.”
“And that makes her say something like that? Nah, no way. From my experience, absolutely not.”
What experience, dude.
You’ve got a girlfriend-less streak equal to your age.
“You really think someone like Mizuki-san would seriously like a guy like me? She’s gorgeous—tons of hot or rich guys would line up for her.”
“Those hot and rich guys all get shot down, man. And like—if the real Aoyama Mizuki actually liked you, you’d date her in a heartbeat, right?”
“Huh? Nah, never even crossed my mind.”
“No need to think about it, right? That’s Aoyama Mizuki we’re talking about. Or… wait, you got someone else you like?”
Nakanishi’s eyes were kinda bloodshot and it was low-key scary.
But honestly, the idea of Mizuki-san liking me? Never seriously thought about it once.
She’s the same year as me but acts way more like a big sister.
I figured she just saw me as some childish guy easy to tease, nothing more.
“…Nah, I don’t have anyone I like or anything.”
“Then there’s no reason to hold back.”
“Dude, stop building the whole conversation on the assumption she likes me. Plus, the three of us—Yuzuki-san included—are doing club stuff together. Things get awkward if something weird happens, right?”
“Ohhh, got it, got it.”
Nakanishi snuck a quick glance behind him.
His eyes landed on Yuzuki-san, who was chatting with a friend at her desk.
“What a luxurious problem—can’t decide which sister to go for.”
“Wh-what’re you even saying. That’s not what I—”
“Don’t get all shy about it. You’re super close with both, can’t pick which one to date. Yeah yeah, if I was in your shoes I’d be torn too.”
Yeah yeah, he kept nodding like he’d figured it all out, then went, “So things are going pretty good with Aoyama Yuzuki too, huh?”
“No clue what ‘pretty good’ even means here.”
“Like what Mizuki just did—’you’re mine’ kinda stuff.”
“Nope. Yuzuki-san’s not the type to say anything like that. And Mizuki-san was just messing with me.”
That wrapped up the conversation.
Like he was signaling the end, he clapped his hands together right as the chime rang.
Nakanishi went back to his seat still grinning like an idiot.
“…Jeez.”
I propped my cheek on my hand with a sigh and glanced over at Yuzuki-san without thinking.
She was looking straight ahead at the teacher standing in front.
No way Yuzuki-san likes me… nah, no chance.
Same with Mizuki-san.
They just hang out with me ’cause I’m harmless, that’s all.
…But like, hypothetically.
Totally impossible, but if somehow—super hypothetically—both of them actually liked me in some ridiculous scenario.
Would I end up picking one?
…Nah, pointless to even think about.
Something like that could never happen anyway.

Chapter 66
“Tendou-kun.”
Lunch break.
The second a girl’s voice called my name, the whole classroom got kinda noisy.
“M-Mizuki-san?”
“Good afternoon. I promised to bring you lunch, remember?”
She stepped into the room holding out this blue-wrapped bento box thing.
Right then, the classroom erupted.
“Yo, that’s Aoyama Mizuki bringing a bento.”
“So she’s really dating that transfer kid?”
“Ugh, what does she even see in a guy like that?”
Mostly jealous grumbling from the guys.
“Mizuki-chan said she hated guys, didn’t she?”
“What’s the deal with that transfer student anyway? Maybe I should try getting close to her too.”
“Forget it. I heard Aoyama Mizuki’s got a pretty nasty personality.”
Mostly catty envy stuff from the girls.
But Mizuki-san didn’t even act like she noticed any of it. Before I knew it, she was standing right in front of me.
“So, starting today, I’m gonna bring you lunch every day. Oh, hey—let’s just eat together here.”
“Uh, no, wait—Mizuki-san, I’m really happy about the bento and all, but—”
“But what? Oh, is it everyone’s stares bothering you?”
“W-well… yeah, kinda.”
“I told you before—if you worry about that stuff, you already lost. Come on, there’s an empty seat next to you, excuse me~”
The second Mizuki-san went to sit down beside me, the classroom buzzed again.
Look at Nakanishi—dude’s got this total pervy old-man face going on.
Seriously though, Mizuki-san—if you’re teasing, this is way over the top.
“Hey Mizuki, you’re taking the joke too far.”
A clear voice cut right through the noisy classroom air, basically saying what I was thinking inside.
“What, Yuzuki? Jealous?”
“Look, Tendou-kun’s obviously uncomfortable here.”
“Why would he be? We’re all in the same club, aren’t we?”
“You’re seriously so bad at reading the room. And anyway, has your cooking improved enough to show off in front of everyone like this?”
“W-well, that’s—”
“Seriously, you never think about consequences. Come on, let’s go to the clubroom. Tendou-kun, you too—hurry up, I’ve got something I wanna talk about.”
Yuzuki-san grabbed Mizuki-san’s arm and dragged her out.
The whispering still hadn’t died down, and of course all the classmates’ eyes swung over to me.
Especially Nakanishi—he looked like he was about two seconds from jumping me, leaning way forward.
“…Excuse me.”
I ducked my head quick and slipped out of there.
Then basically ran away from the classroom.
“Haa… man, Mizuki-san really takes her pranks too far.”
She could’ve just handed me the bento on the down-low.
That was totally on purpose.
Mizuki-san’s got that side to her, huh—classic her, I guess.
“Oh, you’re back quick.”
When I got to the clubroom, Mizuki-san already had the bento box open and was waiting.
“Sorry, Tendou-kun. Mizuki just got a little better at cooking and now she’s all full of herself.”
Behind her, Yuzuki-san gave me this tired-apologetic look and mouthed sorry again.
“You don’t have to apologize that much.”
“But Yuzuki—”
“Mizuki, chill with the attitude. Anyway, I’m gonna go buy some bread.”
Yuzuki-san shot Mizuki-san one more warning glance, then left the clubroom.
“So… just us two now.”
“Mizuki-san, stuff like that prank really puts me in a tough spot. Nakanishi’s got the total wrong idea now.”
“Oh? You’re bothered if people misunderstand and think you’re with me?”
“Uh, no—well, it’s just—”
“Don’t tell me… you had a girlfriend back in your hometown or something?”
“Huh? N-no way, I’ve never had one.”
“Really? Then there’s no problem getting rumored with me, right?”
Still sitting in the chair, Mizuki-san stared up at me with those big eyes.
She’s teasing me again.
Man, I really like that about her.
“Even if I’m okay with it, it’d still cause trouble for you, Mizuki-san.”
“Why?”
“I mean… getting rumored with someone like me.”
“I don’t have a boyfriend either, so no trouble for me. If anything, I’m kinda glad—it’ll stop all the dumb guys from getting the wrong idea about me.”
“That’s just using me as a demon ward or something.”
“Hehe, that’s kinda rude to you. Anyway, let’s eat. I made omurice today.”
Again? I thought it, but no way was I gonna say that to someone who went out of their way to make me lunch.
I opened the bento lid—and yep, it was the exact same scrambled-all-to-hell omurice from Saturday, packed full in the box.
“T-today it actually turned out prettier, but I kinda messed up putting it in the bento. But tomorrow I’ll do way better.”
“Wait, tomorrow too?”
“Of course. I’m gonna keep making it every day until I can make omurice as good as your grandma’s.”
“Ehhh…”
So apparently lunch is gonna be omurice every day from now on.
Hmm… sometimes I kinda want bread or cafeteria food too, though.
“Hehe, I’ll definitely get good at it.”
Seeing her beam like that, I couldn’t bring myself to complain.
The omurice still looked rough as ever, but even cold the taste was still really good.
Weirdly, I had this feeling I wouldn’t get tired of it even eating it every day.
And just like that, lunchtime passed quietly.
