The S-Class Beautiful Sisters at My New School Somehow Got Super Attached to Me and Ended Up Becoming Yandere Without Me Even Realizing It - Chapter 67-68
Chapter 67
♡
“Haa… seriously, what is Mizuki even thinking?”
I muttered to myself while standing in line at the school store.
I never heard anything about her going full-on public with Tendou-kun like that in front of everybody.
She’s probably trying to lock things down with everyone watching, but man, that’s way too obvious.
Tendou-kun looked so uncomfortable too. The important part isn’t what everyone else thinks—it’s how he feels, right?
“Haa…”
“Sighing? That’s rare. Did Tendou-kun turn you down or something?”
“Ah, Ayaha.”
I turned around and there was Kirishima Ayaha standing in line too.
She looked kinda down herself.
“What’s up with you, Ayaha? You look super gloomy.”
“Well, everyone’s talking about it, aren’t they?”
“Talking about what?”
“You know, like those girls up ahead.”
I listened in on the two girls a little further up in line who Ayaha was pointing at.
“You hear? Mizuki’s got a boyfriend now.”
“Yeah, yeah. Apparently it’s that transfer student.”
“That Mizuki? But I heard the guy totally wrecked Sudo-senpai and just glared Itoi-kun into running away. Guess girls always go for the strong ones, huh.”
“Hmm, maybe I’ll go check out that transfer kid sometime.”
The rumor had gotten way out of hand and was heading in some weird direction.
“Ayaha, is everyone talking like that?”
“It’s the only thing people in our class are talking about. Hey… so is it actually true about Mizuki and Tendou-kun?”
“No way. She hasn’t even confessed yet.”
“Hmm. So Mizuki ‘hasn’t’ yet. Interesting.”
For some reason Ayaha grinned like she was super happy about that.
“What do you mean ‘Mizuki hasn’t’? Wait—Ayaha, don’t tell me—”
“I already told him I like him once, y’know.”
“Wait, for real? Wh-what happened?”
“Huh? Why’re you getting so worked up, Yuzuki? Wait… don’t tell me you like Tendou-kun too?”
“…So what if I do?”
“Whoa, you’re being super honest all of a sudden. Hmm… so Mizuki was right after all.”
“Never mind that—tell me about the confession. What’d he say?”
“Nothing really. He got all fidgety and stuff, so I kinda brushed it off from my side.”
“What kinda— So you didn’t actually confess properly?”
“Pretty much. But even if it was half-joking, me saying I like him probably got him thinking about me a little. Who knows—maybe he’ll get fed up with Mizuki being so pushy and come my way instead.”
“…Got him thinking, huh.”
Now that she mentioned it… I haven’t done anything at all to make Tendou-kun see me as a girl.
Bowling together, going to the batting center, even shopping at the bookstore—it’s all just normal friend stuff.
Maybe I really do need to try harder like Ayaha and Mizuki do if I want him to notice me that way.
What Mizuki’s doing… maybe that’s actually the right way to get someone to like you.
“So you’re not with Mizuki today?”
“Uh, yeah. The two of them are already eating in the clubroom.”
“Wait, just the two of them? You sure that’s okay?”
“She’s not the type to do anything weird at school.”
“Hmm… you think? Mizuki’s kinda clueless about how the world works sometimes. Who knows what she might pull.”
Seeing Ayaha look a little worried made me feel uneasy too for some reason.
No way… but with Mizuki in this mood right now, there’s no telling what she might do.
…Nah, probably not.
❤︎
“Tendou-kun.”
I called his name while he was scarfing down the omurice I poured my heart into making.
“Hm? What’s up?”
“Nothin’, just felt like saying it. Is it good?”
“Yeah, super good. Did you have to wake up crazy early to make this?”
“Not at all. Hearing you say it’s yummy makes me wanna keep doing it every day.”
Yeah—every day.
But just waking up early isn’t enough for that.
Being good at cooking isn’t enough either.
I need the right to be by his side every day and make food just for him.
That’s not something a friend, a neighbor, or a clubmate gets to do.
It has to be a girlfriend.
There’s only one seat for that.
And it’s gonna be me sitting there.
“Tendou-kun.”
I called his name again, and he looked back at me with this puzzled face.
That clueless expression is so cute. The little smear of ketchup on his cheek is so lovable.
I wanna tell him how I feel. My chest feels like it’s about to burst, but… I hope these feelings reach him.
“Tendou-kun… I wanna keep making lunch for you every single day forever.”

Chapter 68
♡
“Mizuki… what’re you doing?”
I got this bad feeling, so after grabbing bread at the school store I ran back to the clubroom—and there was Mizuki with her head slumped on the desk, arms dangling limp, staring at me all resentful-like.
“Haa… oh, it’s just you, Yuzuki.”
“Just me? That’s kinda rude. Wait—where’s Tendou-kun?”
“Bathroom. Seriously, is he really that clueless?”
She let out this looong sigh, then slowly sat up. Now she was propping her cheek on her hand, looking all sulky.
“What happened? Don’t tell me you confessed to Tendou-kun or something?”
“Oh, as expected from twins. Yep, exactly that.”
“No way? Wh-what’re you doing confessing during lunch break?”
“Love doesn’t care about day or night.”
Seeing her sigh like that while saying it, I realized it wasn’t the absolute worst-case scenario I’d pictured.
“…Wait, did he turn you down?”
“That might’ve been cleaner. Nah, kidding. If that happened I’d be burning this place down.”
“Whoa, stop—that’s scary. So you did confess?”
“I told him I wanna make lunch for him every single day. That’s obviously a confession, right? But Tendou-kun just goes, ‘Thanks. But don’t push yourself too hard.’ Haa—”
With another deep sigh, Mizuki melted back down onto the desk like she was done with life.
“So basically, you said it all roundabout and it didn’t get through.”
“Was that really so roundabout? Come on—if a girl says she wants to make you lunch every day, that’s a confession, isn’t it?”
“Well… it might’ve come off a bit heavy for a confession. And Tendou-kun probably never expected anything like that from you.”
“Maybe I didn’t push hard enough. Should I just drag him home and jump him naked or—”
“No way—not at home. Actually, not anywhere.”
“Haa.”
Mizuki didn’t even react to my comeback.
This was bad. Real bad.
…Well, yeah, makes sense.
Even if it bugs me, guess I’ll cheer her up a little.
“Hey, snap out of it before Tendou-kun gets back. You’re gonna make him hate you like this.”
“N-no way, I don’t want that.”
“Then sit up properly. If you stay like that, everyone’s gonna say Mizuki got a boyfriend and turned into a total mess.”
“Yeah yeah, whatever—I’m just a hopeless girl anyway… wait, what’d you just say?”
“Since this morning you’ve been acting all weird, so everyone’s been gossiping. Saying Mizuki got herself a boyfriend.”
It was super annoying and kinda pissed me off that rumors like that were flying around.
But they’re just rumors—whatever other people think doesn’t change the truth.
Still…
“Wait, for real? Me and Tendou-kun are getting rumored about? Ehehe, what do I dooo?”
The second her face went all soft and happy like that, I figured—eh, whatever, if it makes this simple girl this happy, it’s fine.
Seriously though—she’s always going on about not caring what people think, but she’s super sensitive to rumors like this.
“Looks like you’re back to normal.”
“‘Cause—me and Tendou-kun dating… hehe, ehehe, ehehehe.”
“…”
As her twin, I gotta say… kinda creepy.
But this might actually be the first time I’ve seen Mizuki this over-the-moon happy.
And yeah—when Mizuki looks this happy, it makes me happy too.
If she asked for a car or jewelry or whatever right now, I’d probably hand it over just to keep that smile.
But.
Even so—right now, I can’t give in.
Even if it means never seeing that smile again.
That just makes me realize all over again how strong and big my own feelings have gotten.
“Well, rumors are just rumors. Don’t get too excited over nothing.”
“…You always gave me your toys or favorite snacks whenever I wanted, right, Yuzuki?”
“‘Cause you kept throwing tantrums.”
“So this time—even if I throw a tantrum—you’re not giving in?”
“…Nope. If you want him that bad, go take him yourself.”
I threw back at her the kind of line she’d usually say to me.
She looked a little sad for a second, then smiled.
“Hehe, that’s more like it. But even when Tendou-kun gets back, I’m still not giving him up.”
“I’m gonna win him over myself too. Speaking of—which—he’s taking forever. Your bento didn’t give him the runs, did it?”
“Don’t say rude stuff like that. But seriously, what is he doing?”
We both spaced out waiting for him a while.
But in the end, Tendou-kun never came back to the clubroom during lunch break.
