The S-Class Beautiful Sisters at My New School Somehow Got Super Attached to Me and Ended Up Becoming Yandere Without Me Even Realizing It - Chapter 20-21
Chapter 20
“Okay, guess I should head out now.”
After Grandma left the room, we chatted a little bit more, just the two of us.
Yuzuki-san stood up, book in hand.
“Seriously, sorry about today. And thanks for keeping Grandma company.”
“No, thank you—I was really happy to hear such interesting stuff. Is your grandma still around?”
“Yeah, but she’s resting right now.”
“Got it. Then just tell her the little sister says thanks, okay?”
“Will do. Oh hey—before you go… what did Grandma whisper to you at the end?”
The thing she said all sneaky-like, just to Yuzuki-san.
I’d been dying to know what it was.
“It’s a secret.”
“Ugh, now I’m super curious.”
“It’s not really about you, Tendou-kun… well, maybe a tiny bit?”
“What kinda answer is that? Now I’m even more curious!”
“Ahaha, kidding, kidding. It’s seriously nothing big, promise.”
With that, she headed to the entrance.
And then,
“Alrighty—”
For some reason she gathered up her hair and tied it back.
Back to her usual ponytail.
“You going somewhere after this?”
“Hm? Nah, just… felt like it. I think this look suits me better after all〜”
She gave a little “hehe” laugh, quickly slipped on her shoes,
“Thanks for the book. I’ll message you what I think later.”
And just like that, she was out the door.
After seeing Yuzuki-san off, I went back to my room. The quiet hit me and I felt kinda lonely for a second.
Back when I lived in my hometown, all my friends were always busy with club activities.
I was used to never really hanging out with anyone on days off, so you’d think I’d be fine with it by now…
“…I kinda wanna hear what she thinks of the book soon.”
I messed around on my phone for a while, kinda spacing out.
Before I knew it, the sky outside was all red from the sunset.
Grandma called me, so I headed to take a bath.
♡
“Yuzuki〜, dinner’s ready〜”
I got home, shut myself in my room right away, and kept reading the book I got today. Then Mizuki called from outside.
“Coming〜”
I quickly shoved the book under my pillow and stepped out. Mizuki was standing there looking like she had something to say.
“You’ve been holed up in your room all day—that’s kinda rare. You feeling sick?”
“Nope. My grades have been kinda scary lately so I was just studying a bit.”
“Hmm. So… did you manage to see Tendou-kun?”
“Huh?”
“Oh come on, you think I didn’t notice? You snuck out super early this morning.”
“…So what? I just went over because there was something about tomorrow’s club stuff I wanted to talk about. That’s all.”
“You could’ve just texted him, right? But I’m not gonna be mean and say that. Looks like you ended up liking him too, huh, Yuzuki.”
She had this smug, totally chill vibe.
Mizuki gave a bold little smirk.
“It’s not like that. I just… like you said, it’d be rude to treat him the same way as other guys, so I’m just being normal with him. That’s it.”
“That’s what people call being a tsundere.”
“…I’m not dere-ing at all.”
“Hehe, whatever you say. Oh, and starting tomorrow I’m coming to club practice too.”
“Do whatever. It’s the club you picked anyway.”
“Yep, I will.”
She flashed another sly grin, then headed to the kitchen first.
“…What’s with that smug attitude?”
I felt a little annoyed at my big sister who always acts like she’s above everything.
Quietly, I followed after Mizuki.

Chapter 21

“Ah”
After finishing dinner and getting back to my room, I checked my phone.
Two Line messages had come in.
First one was from Mizuki-san.
『I heard about the club room stuff from Yuzuki. I’d really appreciate it if you could message me later so we can talk about it』
The club room thing.
Probably about how if we don’t rack up any activity records, they’re gonna take the room away.
I wonder if Mizuki-san’s got some kind of plan to fix it.
“…Yeah, I’ll hit her up later.”
I’d actually been wanting to talk to someone about it too.
I’ve got this one kinda idea like “maybe we could do this,” but I wasn’t super confident about it, so it was hard to actually say out loud.
But if it’s Mizuki-san… maybe she’d get it.
While I was thinking that, I opened the message from Yuzuki-san next.
『Good evening. I already started reading and it’s kinda interesting so far. But the heroine’s pretty intense, huh』
Picturing what kind of face Yuzuki-san must’ve had while typing that, I almost cracked up.
She doesn’t seem like the type to get jealous at all, and there’s no way she’d relate to a yandere heroine.
I figured I’d reply first.
『Glad it seems interesting. I’m curious too, so maybe let me borrow it once you’re done?』
Right away,
『Since you’re the one who bought it for me, of course. Reading really makes time fly, doesn’t it』
Looks like she’s really getting into it.
She said before that she wasn’t great at reading books, but seems like she actually likes this one.
『Then see you tomorrow. And thanks again for listening to Grandma’s stories today』
After that, no more messages from Yuzuki-san.
A little later.
I opened Mizuki-san’s chat again and started typing back.
『About the club room—I wanted to talk about it too. Wanna chat properly tomorrow?』
It got read almost instantly.
“Huh, a call?”
My phone started ringing.
“H-hello?”
“Good evening, Tendou-kun. Thanks again for yesterday.”
“N-no problem. Uh, what’s up?”
“You said you wanted to talk about the club room, right?”
“Y-yeah, but I figured tomorrow would be fine…”
“Putting things off isn’t good. Plus I’m curious what you think. You’ve got some kind of idea, don’t you?”
The way Mizuki-san said it—like she already saw right through me—made me pause for a second before answering.
“…What if we wrote a novel?”
I’m not trying to be a writer or anything. I’ve never even posted a web novel.
But book lovers kinda go through that phase at least once, right? I’ve always wanted to try writing something myself, so I’ve got some practice stuff saved on my computer, just messing around imitating novels.
That’s why it was hard for me to confidently suggest something like “let’s write a novel.”
“What a coincidence. I was thinking the exact same thing.”
“Huh? For real?”
“Yep. Didn’t I ever mention I want to be a writer?”
“Uh… pretty sure that’s news to me.”
“Ever since I was little, my dream was to become a writer. And originally, I planned for the reading club to do some writing activities too.”
“Then… why didn’t you?”
“It’s kinda embarrassing to say, but a bunch of guys who just wanted to get close to us kept showing up. Sensei told us to put it on hold for a while.”
“Whoa…”
Nakanishi had mentioned something like that, but hearing it straight from her—it must’ve been super annoying for them.
While I was trying to figure out what to say,
“But I really want to protect that club room.”
“You’ve got a lot of attachment to it, huh.”
“…It’d mean fewer excuses to meet up, wouldn’t it?”
“Huh?”
“N-nothing. Anyway—Tendou-kun, have you ever done any writing before?”
“Uh… I’ve written some stuff just ’cause I was into the idea, but I’ve never shown it to anyone.”
Somehow I felt like lies or dodging wouldn’t work on Mizuki-san, so I just told the truth.
And right away,
“Hey, can you show it to me?”
Yeah… figured that was coming.
“…It’s super embarrassing, so I’d really rather not, but… is that a no-go?”
“No go. This isn’t just about the club room—it’s about whether the club even survives. I’ll show you mine too, so it’s fair, right?”
“…Okay.”
I couldn’t argue anymore, so in the end we agreed I’d bring my manuscript after school tomorrow.
At the very end of the call, Mizuki-san said “I’m looking forward to it,” and that just squeezed my stomach even tighter.
Right after hanging up, I pulled the brown envelope I’d shoved way in the back of my drawer.
“Haa…”
Big sigh.
Never thought the day would come when someone actually sees this.
Just some amateur’s messy, self-indulgent drivel.
And now someone like Mizuki-san—a real book person—is gonna read it. No idea what she’s gonna say.
Feeling kinda heavy, I eventually slipped quietly under the covers.
