The S-Class Beautiful Sisters at My New School Somehow Got Super Attached to Me and Ended Up Becoming Yandere Without Me Even Realizing It - 4
Chapter 4
♡
“Sorry for the wait, Yuzuki~”
I was eating alone first when Mizuki showed up, pretending to be me.
“Ah, good work, Mizuki. You’re back quick.”
“Handle a teacher calling you out on your own next time, seriously.”
“Ehehe, sorry sorry. Nishiya-sensei for English is just kinda hard for me, y’know.”
“Ugh. Anyway, something up? You look spaced out.”
“Huh? N-no, nothing really.”
“Ah, got it. You’re tired of pretending to be me, huh.”
“W-well, kinda. I mean, you’re all proper and ladylike, Mizuki, unlike me.”
“Haha, yeah, you’re the super energetic one. But for real, nothing else? Like some weird guy bothering you or something?”
“Nope nope. At this point, hardly anybody even tries to mess with us anymore.”
“Yeah, true. We’re the ‘Unconquerable Split,’ right? Stop turning people into bowling pins on your own, geez.”
“…Hey.”
I told Mizuki about the thing that was bugging me.
“That transfer student guy… he might actually be able to tell us apart.”
“Huh, no way? What happened?”
“Earlier when we were in line, he looked at me and went ‘Yuzuki-san?’ Like, he wasn’t totally sure, but still.”
“Hmm. Maybe he just mixed you up?”
“I thought so too, but… actually yesterday at the convenience store too.”
I told her about bumping into Tendou-kun at the convenience store after school yesterday.
Mizuki actually looked thoughtful for a second.
“Hmm… if it happens twice in a row, it’s kinda hard to call it pure coincidence or a mistake. Alright then, after school I’m gonna keep pretending to be Yuzuki and go talk to him.”
“You okay doing it alone?”
“I’ll be fine. Plus, I’m actually getting curious now if there’s really someone who can tell us apart instantly.”
While I watched Mizuki looking all pumped up, I snuck a quick glance at him sitting way over at a far table.
Just some plain, quiet guy eating alone, nothing special about him.
But the reason he kept sticking in my head… was probably ’cause he might actually be able to tell us apart, right?
The words he said.
You can’t like someone if you don’t even know what they’re like inside.
So there are people like that too, huh.
I spaced out thinking about it while I waited for Mizuki to finish eating.

“Um…”
After school.
Right after Nakanishi from the handball club rushed out of the classroom all busy, who came over to me? None other than Aoyama Yuzuki.
“Y-yeah?”
“Tendou-kun, you’re not in any club, right?”
“Uh, yeah. I just transferred here recently, and joining in the middle of second year feels kinda tough anywhere.”
“Ah, yeah true~”
“Um… is there something?”
“Hmm, I’m heading home now, but wanna walk together if you’re free?”
“With me?”
“You don’t have to look that shocked. Mizuki’s got something to do, and it’s getting kinda dark and creepy around here alone in the evening. Which way’s your house?”
“I’m living behind the station right now.”
“Then we’re basically neighbors. Come on, it’s fine, right?”
The sudden invite caught me off guard, honestly, but she looked a little troubled too, and I couldn’t really find a reason to say no.
“Well… if you’re okay with me.”
So I took her up on it, and we ended up leaving school together.
“Thanks~ Okay, I’ll wait for you at the back gate first.”
“Huh, yeah. I can leave pretty quick too though.”
“If people see us walking together inside school it’d get messy. Don’t wanna deal with weird guys getting jealous or whatever.”
“Ah, gotcha. See you in a bit then.”
I stopped rushing to pack up, watched her leave the classroom first, waited a little, then headed out myself.
Walking down the hallway that was dyed bright red from the sunset.
I was thinking again, kinda deep in my head.
“That earlier… nah, probably not, right?”
The girl who was just with me should be my classmate Aoyama Yuzuki.
But something still felt off.
Like she was forcing herself to act extra cheerful or something.
She didn’t even feel like the same person I talked to this morning.
What if that wasn’t Yuzuki-san but actually the older sister?
I started imagining stuff like that, then felt stupid and stopped.
Why would she even bother switching on purpose?
I couldn’t think of any reason at all.
It was definitely just me overthinking.
No way, but… maybe I got a little carried away when she suddenly asked to walk home together?
…Deep breath, deep breath.
I’m not taking Nakanishi’s warning too seriously or anything, but yeah, a girl like her really lives in a different world from someone like me.
No weird expectations. Just walk her home like she asked, and that’s it.
Alright, can’t keep her waiting too long—better hurry to the back gate.
