Lydia-san tried to stand up, but she quickly let out another cry of pain.

“You’re clearly not okay! Lydia-san, I don’t think you have enough magic to use healing spell, so allow me to heal you! Please take off your armor so I can assess the damage on your body properly!”

“Re-Removing my armor in front of man is still—!”

Lydia-san, who was trying to say something again, suddenly pressed her hand against her side. She looked even more in pain than before. Seeing her life could be in danger if I let her be, I decided to take immediate action and placed my hands on her armor. 

“Pardon me!”

“Wa-WAIT!!!”

Lydia-san cried out in pain again. I had to heal her quickly! I swiftly removed her armor and this allowed me to be able to see the right side of Lydia-san’s abdomen. It quickly became clear why she was in pain although she was wearing armor. It was because part of the armor had melted to her skin, probably because of the dragon’s breath attack.

“Hiiyah-?!”

Visual checking wouldn’t be enough, so I touched the skin around Lydia-san’s burned part to ensure there were no other issues. Fortunately, the burned part was the only thing hurting her right now. After I finished checking her, I removed my hand from Lydia-san’s skin. I quickly removed the melted iron from her skin and gradually cooled the area to an appropriate temperature with magic. Then, I used 【Heal】to return Lydia-san’s skin back to normal.

“Lydia-san, you’re all set now!”

“Thank you, Liam-san… In that case… May I put my armor back now?”

“Huh…?”

Armor…? Ah, right. I had to remove Lydia-san’s armor so I could heal her… Upon realizing this, I looked at the area where Lydia-san’s armor had been. Lydia-san’s pale, slender body was visible for me to see. There was no excess fat anywhere, a clear sign of how she had trained her body to its utmost. She was using her arms to cover her ample chest, which was wrapped in a pure white bra. I let my gaze drift up to her face and I saw that she was blushing deep red and looked a bit flustered. 

“Uh… Umm… W-Well… T-This…”

I looked at the scene before me again and my face quickly grew very hot. I looked back and forth several times, not sure where to look. My vision started to spin, I didn’t know what to do. My mind became overheated from confusion and I started feeling disoriented, unable to think clearly.

“Li-Liam-san?! Are you alright?”

“Lydia-san’s…”

Seeing Liam looking clearly disoriented even though he was still standing stiffly, Lydia immediately called out to him. Liam could only respond with a series of unclear stammering. His eyes couldn’t focus on one spot, making it hard to tell whether Liam was still conscious or not. Seeing this, Lydia, who rarely smiled, could feel the telltale sign of a smile forming at the corner of her mouth. A part of her felt like she could trust Liam despite the situation they were in.

“Even if you show me such an adorable face, the fact still remains. You’ve seen me in my underwear. Liam-san, you’re the only man in this world who has seen Lydia Astoria clad in her underwear, so.. You will have to take responsibility.”

Lydia murmured as she put her armor back on. On the other hand, Liam was still in a daze. His mind was in tatters.
