The Case of Me, a Guy With Zero Dating Experience, Getting Mistaken for a Stalker by the Angel I Fell for at First Sight, Only to End Up Living Together With Her in a Harem Share House With a 1:9 Gender Ratio - Chapter 18: The Angel of Seisho
Chapter 18: The Angel of Seisho
After finishing breakfast and cleaning up the dishes together, the two left the share house.
It was just before 8 a.m.
The sky was clear, making for a pleasant morning.
On the way from the share house to Hakurindai Station, there’s a convenience store called “JUSTOP Hakurindai Store.”
JUSTOP is a local convenience store chain with about 80 locations in Kanagawa Prefecture, known for its community focus.
“Yuuki-san, sorry, can we stop by the convenience store?”
“Sure, we’ve got time.”
As the two passed through the automatic doors, a cheerful voice rang out from the checkout counter.
“Welcome~”
The voice belonged to Kotoha Kishitani, a share house resident.
With her cocoa-brown short bob, refined features, and cool eyes, she’s a slender, striking beauty.
“Huh, Kotoha-san. What’s up today? Your shift’s usually in the evening, right?”
“Oh, Sakura-chan, mornin’… The person scheduled for today’s shift suddenly couldn’t come. Got a call from the manager early this morning for help…”
Kotoha shrugged as she answered.
“I see. Thanks for your hard work.”
Sakura offered words of encouragement, and Kotoha nodded slightly.
Yuuki grabbed a bottled tea and followed Sakura to the register.
He spoke to Kotoha standing before him.
“Must be tough starting so early.”
“The manager begged me. Can’t be helped…”
“No classes today?”
Sakura asked Kotoha.
“Nah, morning classes got canceled, so I’ll head to university at noon, then back here in the evening.”
“That’s quite…”
“Well, it’s for the band, so I deal with it…”
Kotoha’s lips softened into a slight smile.
“I’m looking forward to the live show. Keep up the good work!”
Yuuki placed his drink on the counter and chimed in.
“Hm… Thanks…”
Caught off guard by the encouragement, Kotoha blushed slightly but quickly processed the transaction.
As they left the store, Sakura gave Kotoha a small wave.
“Good luck with work~”
“Yeah, thanks, see you tonight.”
Kotoha glanced briefly at Yuuki beside Sakura but returned to her register duties.
Leaving the convenience store, the two headed toward the station.

Soon, they arrived at Hakurindai Station and waited for the train.
As expected, the arriving train was packed with commuters and students.
They managed to board, finding a spot near the door.
Yuuki grabbed the strap, and Sakura held the handrail beside him.
With passengers so close, their shoulders naturally touched.
Sakura, a bit shy, brought up Kotoha’s situation.
“Kotoha-san said keeping up the band costs a lot.”
According to Sakura, studio fees, activity costs, equipment rentals, and live show ticket quotas add up, and if the quota isn’t met, they pay out of pocket.
Kotoha works at the convenience store, and Miku Yuuki works at a maid café to fund their band activities.
“Wow, keeping a band going sounds tough…”
As Yuuki nodded in admiration, a question popped up.
“By the way, Sakura-san, do you not work part-time?”
“My dad says students should focus on studies, so he doesn’t allow it. Plus, he sends me extra allowance so I don’t struggle financially…”
“I see… Your dad’s probably worried, but that’s strict, huh.”
When Yuuki said that, Sakura shook her head with a slightly lonely expression.
“No… My dad just wants to keep me like a caged bird, under his control.”
Her words hinted at a complex family dynamic Yuuki hadn’t known, catching him off guard.
Her usual bright smile was replaced by a shadowed profile, and Yuuki couldn’t find words to respond.
In the crowded train, feeling Sakura’s presence beside him, he was aware of the occasional warmth of their touching shoulders.
Eventually, the train reached Hoshigaoka Station.
Navigating the crowd, they exited the station and walked side by side.
Chatting casually, they walked toward Seisho Gakuen Women’s University.
Before they knew it, they arrived at Seisho’s main gate.
“Well, I’ll head off here.”
Yuuki stopped, and Sakura turned to face him.
“Thank you, Yuuki-san. See you here for the return trip.”
Smiling and giving a small wave, Sakura walked through the gate.
Yuuki watched her until she disappeared, then headed to his own university.

That afternoon, Yuuki was having lunch with Kojiken at the university cafeteria.
Kojiken had the daily special, while Yuuki, as usual, had curry.
“You’re really obsessed with curry, huh.”
That was Kojiken, aka Kentaro Kojima.
“Yup, I could eat curry three meals a day.”
“Huh? I can’t wrap my head around that… Don’t you ever want something else?”
“Sure, sometimes, but if curry’s on the menu, it’s curry or bust. That’s my thing.”
“Your one-track mind is kinda impressive.”
Kojiken shook his head, exasperated.
“By the way, Yuuki, did you hear the Angel of Seisho got a boyfriend?”
“Huh? What’s this ‘Angel of Seisho’…?”
“You don’t know the Angel of Seisho!? She’s the gorgeous girl everyone at our school’s talking about.”
“First I’m hearing of it.”
“You’re so out of the loop… Fine, I’ll fill you in.”
According to Kojiken, there’s a female student at Seisho Gakuen Women’s University nicknamed the “Angel of Seisho.”
Her beauty is said to be angelic—lovely, with waist-length glossy black hair, soulful large eyes, translucent white skin, and a slender yet perfectly proportioned figure—a flawless, stunning beauty by all accounts.
“I’ve only seen her once, but she’s cuter than any celebrity.”
Kojiken explained excitedly.
(Could that be Sakura-san…?)
Yuuki easily guessed the “Angel of Seisho” was likely Sakura.
Kojiken lowered his voice and added,
“Some guy from our seminar saw her walking with a dude, and now everyone’s saying he’s her boyfriend. This morning, someone saw her chatting with him on the way to school too. And get this—the guy’s from our university…”
“The Angel of Seisho… She’s so cute… Wonder what kind of guy her boyfriend is. I’m beyond jealous—I’m straight-up envious.”
Hearing Kojiken’s words, Yuuki realized the “boyfriend” of the “Angel of Seisho” might be him.
