Returned from Another World, Earth Turned Out to Be Quite the Fantasy Too. Also, Losing Heroines, Stop Looking This Way. - V3 Chapter 57 & 57.5
Chapter 57: “Time to Wrap Things Up?” ①
Reo, clutching his groin and writhing in pain, lay on the ground, twitching uncontrollably.
“Seriously, he’s so weak! Such a loser! Total trash!”
Since returning from the other world, Natsuki thought this had to be the weakest person he’d ever faced. He couldn’t help but treat Reo like a complete pushover.
“…Natsuki-kun, I suddenly feel like we really need to teach him a lesson,”
“Yeah, it’s like it hits you right in the heart, doesn’t it?”
“I get it. I really want to make him understand.”
As Ginko, Koume, and Senju nodded in agreement, Seishiro turned to his mother to speak.
“Mother, could you please wrap things up for us now?”
“Huh? Me?”
“Well, I’ve been waiting for you to do so, actually.”
“Oh, I see. My apologies, I thought you would take care of it.”
“No, well, I’m not really in a position to interfere with Kanna family matters, and they have no obligation to settle it themselves either, so I’d appreciate it if you could handle this, Mother.”
“…Understood. Yura-dono, could you bring that boy rolling around over there?”
“Of course, with pleasure!”
Grabbing Reo by the waistband of his pants, Natsuki lifted him up and tossed him back into the room.
Reo rolled across the floor, but Akemi didn’t even make a move to check on him, let alone show any concern.
Natsuki stepped into the room, took a seat on a cushion, and settled in.
“Thank you.”
“Oh, no problem.”
Sensing that the final “comeuppance” was about to begin, Natsuki tightened his headband in preparation.
“First of all, I am the current head of the Kanna family. Up until now, I had allowed my husband to take the lead, but I’ve lost all patience and have cast him out. As for you, Reo—you are the child of my husband and his mistress, but I never discriminated against you. I raised you as my own with love and care. Maybe I wasn’t perfect, but that does not give you any excuse to steal your brother’s fiancée.”
Reo, still clutching his groin, let out strange wheezing noises. It was hard to tell if he was even hearing what Taeko was saying.
“Seishiro, you need to reflect on leaving without saying anything to me after losing the spirit sword, even if Father disowned you. If you had at least come to see me, I would have stopped you and prevented the disownment. However, I also bear some responsibility for not doing anything when I found out later. I’m sorry.”
“No, Mother, you have nothing to apologize for!”
“I’m glad you say that, but I still have something to scold you for. Stealing Susanoo-sama’s divine sword and causing trouble for so many people—no matter that Susanoo-sama has forgiven you, it’s still something that cannot be excused. We will need to visit the Institute and apologize to them.”
“…Yes.”
After nodding to a bowed Seishiro, Taeko turned her attention to Akemi, who was trying to fade into the background, her face pale.
“Akemi-san, I never approved of the marriage in the first place, so it may be late, but you will be leaving this house.”
“—N-No! Mother!”
“You’ve ignored me and enjoyed yourself until now, so continue doing so elsewhere. You will take responsibility for toying with Seishiro and damaging the relationship between the Kazama and Kanna families.”
“B-But!”
“Enough. Reo, I am formally removing you from your position as the next head of the family. However, you are still my son. I’ll give you two options: leave the house and live as an ordinary person, or reflect on your laziness and undergo training with our relatives. The decision is yours.”
However, there was no response from Reo. It seemed the pain in his groin was too much for him to handle anything else.
“…To remain silent at this point… I’m honestly disappointed.”
(Whoa, is this my fault? But how can I even say, ‘Your son can’t respond because his groin hurts’ in a situation like this!?)
Seishiro, Senju, and Yusuke all had equally awkward expressions, but none of them had any intention of backing up Reo.
“Please wait, Mother! I have a son! Don’t you have any compassion?”
“And what of it?”
“Huh?”
“To be blunt, I’ve hardly ever spoken to my grandson, so I have no attachment to him. That said, I do understand he hasn’t done anything wrong. Therefore, we’ll send him to live with a branch family.”
“You’re going to separate him from his mother!?”
“If you’re that determined, then leave with your son.”
“T-That’s…”
“You may take Reo with you as well. Living together as a family is one option, after all.”
“Wait! What will happen to the Kanna family!?”
“There’s no reason for another family’s daughter to worry, but since you’re curious, I’ll explain. If Seishiro doesn’t inherit the family, it would be logical for someone from the branch family to take over.”
“…The branch family? Compared to the main family, their bloodline is—”
“If you want to talk about blood, then remember: your son carries none of the Kanna blood.”
It seemed Akemi was determined to stay in the Kanna family. Considering she had been disowned by her own family, it was understandable that she had nowhere else to go.
“You should be grateful I’m even giving you options.”
“…Shouldn’t becoming Seishiro-sama’s wife be one of those options? Even if it means leaving my husband and child behind?”
At Akemi’s outrageous statement, everyone, including Taeko, Seishiro, and even Natsuki’s group, was left speechless.
It was the kind of selfish demand that left them all at a loss for words.
—Slap.
Taeko, standing up, struck Akemi across the face.
“I have nothing more to say to you. Someone! Remove this woman from the house!”
“Mother! Please, wait! Mother! Seishiro-sama, I was once your fiancée, wasn’t I? Please, listen to me!”
Without offering any reflection or apology, Akemi was dragged out by the servants.
Natsuki and the others, still stunned, remained behind with Reo, who was still clutching his groin.
“Reo… Surely, you aren’t planning on abandoning your child too, are you?”
“…”
But Reo, still writhing in pain, couldn’t respond.

Akemi’s story ends here. She can’t return to the Kazama family, so what will she do now?

Interlude “Isn’t He a Papi?”
Jack Randock Jasper Williamson Chamber Hanamaki was having a conversation with his father, Johnny Drannoc Jasper Williamson Chamber Hanamaki, through a floating hologram in one of the rooms rented by the Yura family.
“…Jack, I allowed you to visit Earth for your pre-wedding trip, but I don’t recall giving you permission to take Earthlings into space.”
“I’m sorry, Daddy.”
“How many times have I told you to call me Papi!”
“Yes, Papi.”
In his natural gray form, Jack looked exactly like his father, Johnny. Even Natsuki, who had greeted them earlier, couldn’t tell the difference. In Jack and Nancy’s case, it was easier to tell because Nancy’s body had more curves, but if Jack stood next to a male Gray, they would likely be indistinguishable.
“I introduced myself earlier, and you mentioned him as Natsuki Yura, correct? Just by looking at him, I could tell he’s a good kid. He seems young, but from his eyes, I could sense he’s been through a lot of hardship. It’s fine that Jack and Nancy consider him a friend and have grown close to him, but you’ve definitely gone too far.”
“I didn’t expect to end up fighting space pirates twice myself.”
“The first time, I understand. Jessie was in danger. I’m grateful for Natsuki Yura’s efforts as well, but… slicing a spaceship in half? Is he really human?”
“…He’s very strong.”
“I don’t think that’s the kind of strength we can just brush off… The Dopnnyanya Pirates’ officers are still trembling, muttering about how terrifying Earth and its people are.”
Jack could only laugh at that.
He had known Natsuki was strong, but he hadn’t realized just how powerful he truly was until Natsuki unleashed his full strength in the limitless expanse of space.
“Kazuto Miyahara and Senju Nanamori also seem to have played a significant role… The Space Police want to issue them commendations, but taking Earthlings into space has caused some complications. There are already people trying to make contact with the three of them.”
“…To recruit them?”
“More like… they’re hoping to arrange marriages.”
“…Why?”
“Jack, you’re aware of the damage caused by the Dopnnyanya Pirates. Natsuki Yura and his group, who wiped them out, are considered heroes. Because they’re Earthlings, the news coverage has been minimal, but sooner or later, those with sharp eyes will figure it out.”
“Yeah, it’s very possible.”
Jack already knew that on some ‘universal streaming services,’ a few content creators were speculating that Earthlings might have been involved in the destruction of the Dopnnyanya Pirates.
There were many victims of the pirate gang, and numerous people had been saved by Natsuki and his friends.
It would be difficult for everyone to stay quiet.
Some had even provided information to content creators, upset that their lifesavers weren’t being properly recognized in the media.
“Businessmen and influential people may want to bring them in for personal gain, but they also genuinely want to show their gratitude. That’s probably why they’re making it obvious they want them as sons-in-law. From what I hear, these are all prestigious families.”
“…However, Natsuki and his group are Earthlings. If the women aren’t humanoid, it might be difficult for them.”
“That’s true. We’ll figure something out. Oh, by the way, about the police officer who fought alongside you.”
“Bob Morales Wynn Darner Sutomii Makihara, right?”
“Yes, he had been demoted because of his strong sense of justice, but now, he’s been promoted.”
“That’s great news.”
“And it turns out his former superiors’ misdeeds were exposed as well. They had ties to the Dopnnyanya Pirates. I hear his relationship with his family had been strained because of his job, but now he’s considered a hero. He’s been granted a few years of leave.”
“…The fact you’re telling me this means…”
“He wants to spend his vacation on Earth. He built a friendship with Natsuki Yura and the others, and they promised to show him around Earth. He’s received permission to visit, so he’ll be heading your way soon. I’d appreciate it if you could help him out.”
“Understood.”
Jack smiled, thinking about how happy Natsuki would be to hear that Bob was coming to Earth.
“…Jack, you’ve changed. You used to be so tense, but now you seem much more relaxed. And you smile a lot more too.”
“It’s probably thanks to everything I’ve experienced on Earth.”
“I see. When I heard that Nancy was in danger, I was ready to lead a fleet myself, but I’m glad she’s safe. You’ll probably stay on Earth for a while longer, so make sure to experience and learn as much as you can.”
“Yes, Papi.”
“And next time, if you get a chance, contact your Mami too. Nancy has been keeping in touch, but I’m sure she’d love to see your face, even if it’s just through a transmission.”
“Understood.”
“Good. Well then, until next time.”
After the communication ended, Jack shifted back into his human form.
At first, it felt strange, but after spending some time in this form, he didn’t mind it so much anymore.
“It’s only been a few days since I met Natsuki, but every day has been refreshing and beautiful. I’m truly grateful to have met him, his family, and his friends. —Thank you, gods of creation.”
〜〜Afterword〜〜
This was the appearance of Jack’s “Papi”!
The aliens are slowly but surely getting closer to Earth… maybe.
Also, congratulations, Bob!
