Returned from Another World, Earth Turned Out to Be Quite the Fantasy Too. Also, Losing Heroines, Stop Looking This Way. - V3 Chapter 57.2 & 58
Chapter 57.2: “Time to Wrap Things Up?” ②
“…To remain silent even now… I’ve completely lost my patience.”
“Wheeze.”
“I was a fool to treat you with the love of a mother. You will leave this house! As my last act of kindness, I’ll send you to a place where you can have your rotten attitude straightened out. Someone! Take him away!”
At Taeko’s command, Reo was dragged away by the servants.
(Wait, is this my fault too? Do I feel guilty…? Nope! Not at all! Not even a little!)
Natsuki generally disliked men like Reo.
So even though Reo couldn’t respond properly after Natsuki’s kick, he didn’t feel a shred of sympathy as Reo’s mother dismissed him.
Koume and Ginko seemed to share the same feelings.
“…I apologize for showing you such an unpleasant scene. Rest assured, we’ll handle those two. We won’t simply throw them out and abandon them, so please don’t worry.”
“Mother, it seems Reo has a son.”
“Yes, but I have no intention of harming the child. While Reo’s biological mother wasn’t from the Kanna family, she’s a distant relative. We’ll figure something out. However, that child cannot inherit the Kanna family.”
Natsuki and the others chose to believe in Taeko’s words.
“In terms of succession, my sister married into the branch family, so the bloodline is just as strong as the main family’s. There won’t be any issue with them inheriting the Kanna family.”
“Understood.”
“Originally, I would have preferred for Seishiro to return and take over the family, but since you now possess two divine swords, it’s problematic to keep you in a family known for its spirit swords. Besides, the Institute has asked that you establish a new family line.”
“M-Me, start a new family!?”
It was clear the Institute couldn’t leave Seishiro alone after his encounters with Susanoo-no-Mikoto and Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto, and being entrusted with divine swords.
Especially considering that Susanoo-no-Mikoto himself was the head of the Institute, although few knew this.
If Seishiro were drawn into any other psychic organization, it would cause a massive incident. Not that Susanoo-no-Mikoto would care about such things.
“Yes, it seems they’re not forcing you, but they do want you to consider it.”
“…”
Seishiro was at a loss for words.
He had been stripped of his position as the heir to the Kanna family, disowned, and had run away.
He had stolen the Totsuka-no-Tsurugi and plotted revenge against Ginko Aoyama, who had taken the spirit sword, the root of it all.
But when it all played out, nothing had gone as Seishiro had imagined.
He had been targeted by Susanoo-no-Mikoto and saved by a mere boy.
Seeing a human who could fight on equal terms with a god left Seishiro deeply shaken, to say the least.
And now, he had been entrusted with two divine swords.
Seishiro was determined to become strong enough to not bring shame to Susanoo-no-Mikoto or Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto.
“…In other words, Seishiro didn’t have to marry that cheating woman, got himself some divine swords, and now has the chance to start a new family—all thanks to me!”
Ginko’s voice rang out as Seishiro was deep in thought.
Everyone present stared at Ginko in disbelief, as if they were witnessing something absurd.
“Wow, I guess I just have this natural gift for guiding everyone in the right direction without even trying! That’s the Ginko-chan for you!”
“”No way that’s true!””
In perfect unison, Seishiro, Taeko, and everyone else in the room shouted, their voices united in their outrage.
〜〜Afterword〜〜
Ginko, who had been bragging: “sulks“
Susa-Susa: “Wipe those tears. I get it. It hurts when you try to do something good and get treated coldly for it.”
Ginko, who had been bragging: “I’m not crying. Please don’t lump me in with you.”
Susa-Susa: “sulks“
Mammon: “…I’m a bit relieved that the cheating woman and the useless son didn’t come to Aomori, mammon-mammon. Honestly, I wouldn’t know how to guide those two, mammon-mammon. No! I can’t give up! Samael-sama! I’ll go bring those two here!”
Samatan: “Stop it! We don’t have any vegetables to feed them!”

Chapter 58: “Is This the Start of Love?”
“Just shut up already!”
Koume pulled out a sweet red bean bun from her pocket and stuffed it into Ginko’s mouth.
“Nom-nom-nom.”
Ginko quietly started eating the bun.
“Sorry about our Ginko-san. Please, continue.”
Natsuki apologized, asking Taeko to resume her story.
After clearing her throat and hesitating for a moment, Taeko slowly began to speak.
“…I didn’t mention this earlier, but the letter from the Kazama family regarding Akemi’s disownment had more to it.”
“More?”
Seishiro, along with Natsuki and the others, looked puzzled.
Was there something else?
“Akemi is the child of the Kazama family’s first wife. She has two younger sisters, and…”
“Surely, Mother, you can’t mean…”
“They suggested one of her younger sisters as a potential fiancée for Seishiro.”
“Wait a minute, Mother! Akemi’s younger sisters are only sixteen and twelve years old!”
“…I know. I thought it was ridiculous as well.”
“Then why are you bringing this up!? Using such young girls as pawns for political marriages—what do they take people for!?”
Hearing Seishiro’s outburst, Natsuki cracked his knuckles and started preparing to head to the Kazama family.
Fortunately, the sword he hadn’t used earlier might finally get its chance to shine.
“Since I’ve known Akemi since childhood, I also know her two younger sisters. The thought of them being used in a political marriage is unbearable!”
Koume and Ginko cracked their necks and stood up.
Senju and Yusuke, with fierce determination, also rose to their feet.
“Please wait, Seishiro. And Yura-dono, please calm down as well. I, too, was furious at the Kazama family’s proposal, but after reading the rest of the letter, I thought it might be worth considering.”
“Mother!”
“Listen until the end. It seems that the second daughter, Matsuri-san, and the youngest, Yuzu-san, have admired you since they were young.”
“Huh?”
Natsuki and the others paused in surprise.
“They had been holding back their feelings because you were engaged to their older sister, but since Akemi will no longer be marrying you, they’ve both expressed a desire to step forward.”
Natsuki sat back down and started fiddling with his phone, Senju lit an e-cigarette on the porch, and Yusuke began reading a novel.
Koume muttered, “…A younger harem? Well, good for him,” while Ginko, with a smug look, added, “As expected of Ginko-chan. Even bringing good matches together… I’m scared of how talented I am!”
“Wait, we can’t be sure that’s true! The Kazama family has treated me well, but marriage is a completely different matter!”
“You’re right. We’ll make sure to confirm everything properly. The Kazama family likely wants to maintain some sort of connection with you, especially since you’ve received divine blessings from Susanoo-sama and Tsukuyomi-sama.”
“…No way.”
“Well, from my perspective, unlike Akemi, who was unfaithful, her sisters seem like respectable young ladies. I don’t see any problem with it! But I won’t allow both of them, okay?”
Seishiro, now desperate, looked to his mother, who seemed surprisingly open to the idea. He searched for help from anyone, but no one stepped in to rescue him.
(Whistle! Master, you’re quite the ladies’ man! Yay!)
A voice seemed to cheer from somewhere, but Seishiro had bigger concerns on his mind.
