Returned from Another World, Earth Turned Out to Be Quite the Fantasy Too. Also, Losing Heroines, Stop Looking This Way. - V3 Chapter 50
Chapter 50: “Isn’t This the Perfect Day for Zama?” ②
“Sorry for the trouble last night. I’ll be counting on you today.”
“Hello, Natsuki-kun, Aoyama-san, and Lucifer-san.”
Seishiro Kanna and Yusuke Sado greeted Natsuki and the others at the nearby park where they had arranged to meet.
“…You really are a middle schooler, huh?”
“Haha, yep, currently in my third year of middle school!”
Seishiro couldn’t hide his surprise as he looked at Natsuki in his school uniform.
The idea that someone who fought Susanoo-no-Mikoto with a smile was not only young but also still in middle school was beyond what he could have imagined.
“Yo, Yura. Aoyama, and the angel too. Huh?”
“What’s wrong?”
“…The Lord isn’t here?”
Looking around, Senju Nanamori seemed puzzled, searching for Jack.
Senju had once guarded someone who tried to capture and dissect Nancy, but now, he believed in Jack as a god.
He was also one of the few who, like Kazuto, had gone on a rampage in space.
“Jack got in trouble yesterday for causing a lot of chaos in space, so his dad’s giving him a scolding.”
“…What a tragedy. If I could, I’d gladly take his place.”
Senju dropped to his knees and made the sign of the cross.
Natsuki considered pointing out that it didn’t quite fit the situation but decided it wasn’t worth the hassle.
“…Natsuki-kun, why does Senju Nanamori worship Jack-san? I won’t argue that Jack is a saintly alien or anything, but Nanamori’s obsession is honestly kind of creepy.”
“A lot has happened. Just let him be. It’s like a phase, like the flu or something.”
“Yeah, okay. I’ll stay out of it. Seems like it’d be a hassle to get involved.”
Even Ginko found Senju’s behavior annoying at this point, which said a lot about how “off” Senju had become lately.
“So, I’ve been looking forward to this ‘zama’ moment. Is everyone here now? Where’s Ren?” Koume asked, noticing that Ren wasn’t around.
“Well…” Yusuke explained.
Since Ren didn’t have a phone, Yusuke had been wondering how to invite him.
Senju, however, knew where to find him, so they went to Alphonse Michael’s shop. But when they got there, Alphonse had angrily said, “Don’t you dare teach our Ren weird things!”
Ren, who was training as a chef during the day, couldn’t make it and seemed a bit disappointed.
“Alphonse can be so strict. But if it’s for Ren’s sake, it can’t be helped. Still, I, Koume-sama, am getting impatient! I need to see this ‘comeuppance’ soon. So, where’s the Kanna family’s place?”
“…From Mukaijima City, we’ll need to take the train. It’s out in the countryside.”
Seishiro pulled up a map on his phone as he spoke.
Natsuki, Koume, and Ginko all leaned in to take a look.
“…Train fare is kind of expensive.”
“I’ll cover that much, don’t worry.”
“It’s going to take a while though… My chance to watch some sweet revenge is slipping further away.”
“I might collapse from a zama deficiency.”
“Um… what exactly is this ‘zama’ you’ve been talking about?”
Seishiro asked, looking a bit anxious, and Koume nodded decisively.
“Alright, too bad, but we’ll save the train ride and sightseeing for next time. It’s a bit of a hassle, but I’ll do you all a favor.”
Koume motioned for everyone to gather around her. As they did, she spread her pure white wings.
In the next moment, with a whoosh, they found themselves in the middle of the countryside, surrounded by sprawling fields.
“Wha—? Huh? Wait, what?”
Natsuki and the others blinked in surprise, their eyes wide as they took in the sight of a large estate that looked like something out of a samurai story.
“…This is my home.”
Seishiro muttered, realizing that Koume had transported them all in an instant. They couldn’t help but be amazed.
“Phew, that was tiring, but it’s better than dealing with the hassle. Just this once, though.”
“Thanks, Koume-chan!”
“As expected from Koume-san! You’re truly an angel among angels!”
“Of course, of course! Make sure you show your gratitude!”
Yusuke, Senju, and Seishiro also thanked Koume. As they were expressing their gratitude, someone emerged from the large estate.
“What are you all doing here—Seishiro-sama!?”
“…It’s been a while.”
“You’ve returned! I’ll go call the lady of the house immediately! Please, come in! Everyone has been eagerly waiting for your return, Seishiro-sama!”
The person who appeared seemed genuinely happy to see Seishiro.
Even though his younger brother was supposed to be the next head of the family, it was clear that Seishiro was still well-liked.
The group was swept into the mansion by the enthusiastic servant, who quickly went to fetch Seishiro’s mother.
“…So, what should we do now? I’ve been disowned, so I’m not sure I should be wandering around the house freely.”
As Seishiro pondered what to do next, and Natsuki and the others tried to come up with a plan, a voice called out.
“—Seishiro~sama! We’ve been waiting for you!”
A woman in a kimono came running up to Seishiro and hugged him tightly.
〜〜Afterword〜〜
The one who hugged him was his ex-fiancée.
Susa-Susa: “Ugh, I really can’t stand women like that.”
Kushinada-Hime: “I’m sure she wouldn’t like a man like Susanoo-sama either. Now, less complaining, more working. After you finish cleaning the windows, it’s time to clean the entrance.”
Susa-Susa: “Yes, ma’am! I’ll get right on it!”
