Returned from Another World, Earth Turned Out to Be Quite the Fantasy Too. Also, Losing Heroines, Stop Looking This Way. - V3 Chapter 50.5
Interlude “Isn’t This a Meeting in the Demon World?” ①
Demon World.
In the Demon World, the Demon King Satan was attending a meeting with the high-ranking officials of the demon race for the first time in a long while.
After unifying the Demon World, Satan had lost interest in it and had declared himself “retired.” However, because of the importance of this meeting’s topic, he decided to participate, wearing a white suit.
In the meeting room, besides the demons representing the Seven Deadly Sins, were the notable seventy-two demons of renown, along with demons who excelled in combat or had special abilities.
Satan sat at the head of the table, with the Seven Deadly Sins seated in a circular arrangement. Behind them sat the seventy-two named demons, and in the upper-tier seats were the other distinguished demons.
This meeting was a significant event, as it had been years since the high-ranking demons and those with noble titles had gathered together.
Adding to the tension, it was the first time in a thousand years that Satan himself had joined a meeting.
The subject of the meeting, which had even piqued Satan’s interest, was Natsuki Yura.
“Alright, let’s begin the meeting. The topic is how to deal with Natsuki Yura.”
With those words from Satan, the meeting began.
Lucifer, Satan’s son and one of the Seven Deadly Sins, stood up to proceed with the meeting.
“We demons are a merit-based society. Some of you might question why we’re discussing a human like Natsuki Yura. For those ignorant fools lacking in information, I’ll give you a simple explanation.”
Lucifer was polite toward Natsuki and his group, but when it came to other demons, he typically took a condescending and intimidating approach.
“Natsuki Yura is—my beloved angel Koume-chan’s future husband! If any of you lay a finger on him, I’ll kill you! Got it, HAA?”
“Whoa, whoa, calm down, Lucifer-chan! You’re supposed to be the most serious one here, so why are you losing your cool all of a sudden?”
The one who admonished Lucifer, who was harshly threatening the demons, appeared to be a young girl with short black bobbed hair. She was wearing pink knee-high socks peeking out from under her miniskirt, paired with a T-shirt featuring some character and a light hoodie. Despite her cute appearance, star patterns were etched around her eyes.
“…Leviathan. Sorry, I got a little too excited. But why are you dressed like that? Even Satan-sama, who’s pushing it a bit, is wearing a white suit. And yet, you show up in casual clothes?”
“Wait, wait, my son. Did you just diss me?”
“I didn’t know we were having a meeting until the last minute. If I had time to dress properly, I would’ve worn the sailor uniform I imported from the human world!”
“Why would you, of all people, wear a schoolgirl uniform? If my memory serves me right, you’re a boy, aren’t you?”
“Wait, are you ignoring me? Ignoring Satan? Ignoring the King of the Demon World?”
“Ehe~ Because it’s cute!”
“I’m not saying in this day and age that boys should wear boys’ clothes and girls should wear girls’ clothes, but a sailor uniform is not formal attire!”
“But don’t Japanese students wear their school uniforms for important ceremonies like weddings and funerals?”
“This is not a place for weddings or funerals!”
Leviathan, the demon who governs envy, appeared like a small girl, but in reality, he was a boy—a so-called trap.
His true form was that of a dragon, though you wouldn’t guess it from his appearance.
Even so, Leviathan was one of the top-ranking demons, just like Lucifer.
“Lucifer, Leviathan, I have no interest in your nonsense. I heard Mammon was defeated by that boy. Is it true?”
“—Belial.”
Interrupting the conversation between Lucifer and Leviathan was a handsome young man with long legs crossed and beautiful blond hair.
His name was Belial.
He was once an angel, equal in rank to Lucifer and Michael, but now, after his fall from grace, he held a noble title and controlled land in the Demon World.
With his eyes closed, Belial continued speaking.
“If it’s true, then he must be killed. Mammon was a carefree demon, but if he lost to a human, he should be ashamed and take his own life. If he can’t, it’s our duty as fellow demons to give him a proper send-off.”
“It’s true that Mammon was defeated, but don’t worry. You’d lose to Natsuki Yura as well if you fought him.”
“…What?”
“I’m not saying this to provoke your interest, nor am I defending Mammon. But it’s a fact. And because I’m such a kind demon, I’ll tell you just once: if you don’t want to die, if you don’t want to suffer a pathetic defeat, stay away from Natsuki Yura.”
“Hmm. If Lucifer is saying that much, it might be true. But are you sure?”
“Sure about what?”
“I don’t think there’s a single demon who wouldn’t be interested in Natsuki Yura, especially after all the praise you’ve just given him.”
“…Huh?”
Lucifer glanced around, and saw Satan with a look of “Oh no…” on his face. Leviathan tilted his head and asked, “Wait, weren’t you provoking them on purpose?” Meanwhile, the other demons were nodding in agreement with Belial, as if to say “Yeah, yeah.”
“…Did I… just mess up?”
Lucifer asked with a pale face, and once again, everyone nodded in unison.
〜〜Afterword〜〜
Lucifer’s definitely causing some trouble. The story will continue in the next chapter.
Samatan: “This is bad. Mammon didn’t appear in the video because he was on a date, and the view count plummeted.”
Mammon: “Don’t worry, Samael-sama. Humanity still hasn’t realized your true charm, mammon mammon.”
Samatan: “Stop with the weird consolation! Fine, I’ll just call my best friends Adam and Eve and have them eat some apples!”
Mammon: “I really think that’s a bad idea, mammon-mammon! You’ll get complaints from all sides!”
Samatan is spiraling into confusion.

Interlude “Isn’t This a Meeting in the Demon World?” ②
“…Forget what I said. Natsuki Yura is just an ordinary person. Don’t get involved with him, got it?”
“Yeah, that’s not gonna happen.”
It was Satan who objected to Lucifer’s unreasonable command.
“My apologies. I couldn’t help but brag about my future brother-in-law.”
“Oh, um, that’s fine and all…”
Satan was a bit surprised to see how much Lucifer had taken a liking to Natsuki.
Lucifer was known for having strong likes and dislikes.
In fact, he didn’t fall from heaven because he followed his father, Satan, but because he couldn’t stand angels.
While he used to be quite reckless in his youth, he was now regarded as a serious demon—or at least that’s what people thought. In truth, he had very little interest in other demons. He only acknowledged a select few as fellow demons.
So, it was a good sign that Lucifer had taken such a liking to Natsuki.
As far as Satan was concerned, it was ideal for future brothers-in-law to get along well.
But he thought it would be tactless to say that aloud, so he kept quiet.
“Alright then, I’ve stayed quiet long enough for this rare meeting, but it’s time for me to speak.”
As Satan took control of the meeting, the demons straightened their postures and even regulated their breathing.
“Natsuki Yura is strong. That’s undeniable. Since he’s going to be my future son-in-law, I want to protect him. Don’t get the wrong idea though—I’m not trying to recruit him into the demon race. Natsuki Yura is a human. And because he’s human, he has a strength we demons don’t possess. So, I won’t try to bring him over to our side.”
Satan’s voice wasn’t particularly loud, but it echoed clearly throughout the room. No one dared to object.
“Well, let’s handle this like demons. I, the strongest of all, command you: Do not lay a hand on Natsuki Yura.”
Though Satan’s voice carried a commanding tone, he gave a sly grin.
“But, if any of you feel like ignoring my order and want to mess with Natsuki Yura, go ahead. Just remember, you’ll bear the consequences yourself. If you die, that’s on you.”
“Yes, Sir, Satan-sensei!”
“What is it, Leviathan-kun?”
“…You should’ve called me Leviathan-chan.”
“My, what a tough-sounding voice you’ve got there.”
“Ahem, ahem. You said not to lay a hand on him, but did you mean that in a hostile way? Or… in a more intimate way?”
“Both! Wait, were you planning to make a move on him!? I know we live in a time of diversity, but come on, a middle school boy with a trap like you—a cute shota old man—is a bit much, don’t you think?”
“It’s possible! Totally doable!”
“No, it’s not! You can’t push anything too extreme on an innocent boy!”
The once tense atmosphere gradually relaxed. Some demons even felt grateful for Leviathan’s antics.
“You can make a move if you want, but remember, it’s at your own risk.”
“No problem! I’ll get a legal Japanese ID and marry him properly!”
“That’s not the kind of responsibility I was talking about!”
“Mou~ Satan, you’re such a worrywart. Don’t stress! I’m a virgin too, so we’ll be a good match. Strong or weak, I don’t care about that stuff. It’s all about whether someone’s my type or not, you know?”
“It’s not ‘you know’! Were you even listening to me!?”
Satan’s warning worked for most of the demons. However, for Leviathan and a few others, it only piqued their curiosity even more.
(—Haruko-san, I did my best. I really don’t like this whole Demon King business. My dance class next week is my only reason for living…)
Still, thanks to Satan’s stern words, many demons decided to refrain from meddling with Natsuki.
Of course, there were still a few who saw defeating Natsuki, the one who took down Mammon, as a way to make a name for themselves.
And then there were the weaker demons, who weren’t present at the meeting, that might consider using dirty tricks, such as taking hostages.
But if any of those lesser demons were caught by higher-ranking nobles, it would be the end for them.
Even among the noble demons, there were some who weren’t that strong.
However, the nobles would surely keep a close eye on their subjects to prevent them from doing anything foolish.
(At least most of them got scared, aside from the oddballs. Seriously, though, it seems even the Norse are starting to show interest. I’ve got to keep the demons in check, at least… For my future son-in-law! With this, I’m sure Natsuki’s opinion of me will skyrocket, and he’ll start looking up to me. And then, Haruko-san might think of me as his perfect dad! Wow, I’m such a genius!)
In the end, Satan was still Satan.
While some of it was for Natsuki’s sake, most of his motivation came from his own selfish desires.
〜〜Afterword〜〜
Is Leviathan, the trap, on the move!?
By the way, the demon executives now think of Natsuki as the “strong virgin.”
Next time, we’ll continue with the comeuppance!
