Returned from Another World, Earth Turned Out to Be Quite the Fantasy Too. Also, Losing Heroines, Stop Looking This Way. - V3 Chapter 46
Chapter 46: “Welcome, Holy Sword!” ②
“…Noisy angel and rotten woman.”
The Holy Sword covered her ears with a displeased expression as Koume and Ginko shouted.
“Wait a minute! If this little brat is Natsuki’s Holy Sword, then you’re the one who roasted my wings to a crispy, delicious golden brown!”
“No, no, Koume-chan! You can’t say ‘delicious’!”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about. And by the way, I’m not Natsuki’s Holy Sword. He’s my Natsuki, so don’t get the wrong idea.”
A few days earlier, Koume’s wings had been fried by lightning, and she was growling, seeking revenge. Natsuki, however, tried to calm her down.
As the Sword of Divine Thunder mentioned, she had no memory of intentionally harming Koume. It was simply that Natsuki, in battle, had released lightning—a part of the Holy Sword—against the opposing Koume.
“More importantly! You’ve been calling me ‘rotten’ since earlier. What do you mean by that!? How can you call a lively young girl like me ‘rotten’?!”
“Seriously? Doesn’t it make you sad to call yourself a ‘young girl’? You’re getting up there in age, aren’t you?”
“I don’t want to hear that from someone who’s been around since before the Common Era, Koume-san! I’ve still got it! If I put on a school uniform, I’d totally be mistaken for a high school girl!”
“Yeah, no. That’s not happening.”
Ginko, who insisted on calling herself a “young girl,” didn’t exactly look like a high schooler, even from Koume’s perspective.
“Holy Sword-san, what do you mean by saying Ginko-san is ‘rotten’?”
Curious to know the reason, Natsuki asked, but instead of her usual sharp attitude, the Holy Sword gave Natsuki an unexpectedly gentle look.
“You’re still too young to know about that, and even if you did, it wouldn’t change anything in your life. Trust me, it wouldn’t add any value.”
“Huh?”
“Hold on a second! You’re saying such harsh things, I’m about to cry here!”
“…Let me explain. I happened to sneak a peek at some of those ‘thin books’ that belonged to a man you guys met, who was down in the dumps after his fiancée ran off with his younger brother.”
“If you remember that much detail, you could at least say his name. But wait, did you actually see that?”
“I did. Even the rotten nobles in the other world didn’t stoop to those extremes.”
“W-Wait! Let me explain! It was a youthful mistake, you see. When you’re a teenager, your imagination just soars like a bird flying far and wide.”
“That makes no sense. Anyway, just make sure you don’t influence my Natsuki with weird stuff.”
“I’m so sorry. I’ll be more careful.”
“As long as you understand!”
The Holy Sword nodded in satisfaction.
Koume promptly smacked Ginko on the head.
“Why are you losing so easily? Where’s your usual comeback?”
“I’m sorry. When that doujinshi gets brought up, I just… I can’t.”
“…What kind of extreme content was it? Now I’m curious.”
“Forget about that rotten girl’s creations. More importantly, Natsuki!”
“Yes, ma’am!”
“Why are you so weak now? I just noticed you’re back to the way you looked when we first met. What’s going on? Did you travel back in time or something? I’ve been asleep ever since you killed that god in the other world, so I’m a bit lost. Explain.”
“Ah, well, about that…”
Natsuki explained to the Holy Sword that when he returned to Earth from the other world, time had somehow rewound itself.
As a result, his body had reverted to its past state, and his strength had weakened significantly.
“Hmm. If you got weaker, then fine, just stay low-key about it. But why are you picking fights with gods in this world? Are you an idiot?”
“Sorry.”
“Hmph. You’re weak now, so stop fighting and just live a normal life.”
“Got it.”
As the Holy Sword scolded Natsuki, Koume and Ginko tilted their heads in confusion.
“Hey, why is Natsuki acting so submissive to this little girl?”
“Does she have something on him?”
“Why would I do something like that!? You two have the dumbest ideas ever!”
“…Such a foul-mouthed little girl.”
“Maybe we should show her who’s boss.”
Koume and Ginko were starting to get irritated by the Holy Sword’s sharp tongue, and it showed on their faces.
“Calm down, both of you.”
With a calm voice, Jack intervened to diffuse the situation.
“What? Are you siding with this little brat?”
“Jack-san, that’s not cool.”
“It’s not that. I just think you’re misunderstanding something. Sure, she’s a bit rude, but it’s clear that she’s worried about Natsuki. She probably just can’t express it properly. As part of Natsuki’s family, we should try to understand her, strengthen our friendship, and welcome her as part of our family.”
Jack understood.
The Holy Sword wasn’t telling Natsuki to avoid fighting because she didn’t care—it was because she didn’t want him to get hurt.
That concern for Natsuki showed that she was, just like them, part of his family and a friend.
“—Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. I am Jack Randock Jasper Williamson Chamber Hanamaki.”
“And I’m his fiancée, Nancy Peety Lottrott Nigelmary Akaboshi.”
“…Those names are so long!”
It seemed that even the Holy Sword from another world found their extraterrestrial names lengthy.
〜〜Afterword〜〜
This is how the first contact went.
The real drama will come a bit later, sorry about that.
By the way, the reason Natsuki is so deferential to the Holy Sword is because she helped him a lot in the other world, so he feels indebted to her. Also, he doesn’t fully understand tsundere behavior and doesn’t want her to dislike him.

Chapter 46: “Welcome, Holy Sword?” ③
Though the Holy Sword wasn’t exactly the friendliest, when Koume and Ginko began drinking with Nancy and Jack, she accepted the beer that was offered to her.
However, Natsuki quickly stepped in to stop her.
“Wait, wait! Holy Sword-san, you look like a little girl, so drinking alcohol might not be a good idea!”
“Who are you calling a little girl?!”
Despite her protests, she undeniably looked like a little girl to everyone.
“Ah, you’re right. My bad, my bad. I must be getting tipsy. It’s time for me to switch from alcohol to tea.”
“I’m at fault too. This is a serious offense! I’ve been dealing with non-humans so much that I just went along with it.”
Koume and Ginko both felt genuinely sorry for offering alcohol to someone who appeared to be a child, and they started chugging tea instead.
“I’ve been around for more than a thousand years, you know!”
“A loli-granny?”
“Who are you calling a granny?!”
“A classic tsundere, loli-granny with pink twin-tails… You’re piling on too many traits here. Maybe tone it down a bit?”
“What are you even talking about!? And what do you mean by ‘traits’? Are you talking about my lightning attribute or something!?”
Even though Ginko and Koume had switched from alcohol to tea, they were still pretty tipsy, and the Holy Sword was getting dragged into their antics.
The Holy Sword, unfamiliar with terms like “loli-granny” or “tsundere,” tilted her head in confusion. But once she realized she was being teased, she angrily shook her twin-tails.
(…I can’t deny that the Holy Sword has a lot of traits, but Koume-chan is also the daughter of Satan and Lilith, an angel, and she speaks with that bossy tone—she’s got plenty of traits herself. Ginko-san, too… She’s a police officer with spiritual powers, loves demonic swords, draws doujinshi, and is friends with Amaterasu… Neither of them is losing in the ‘traits’ department.)
Natsuki wisely kept these thoughts to himself, knowing that saying them out loud to these tipsy women might lead to unpredictable consequences. But deep down, he really wanted to point it out.
(And Jack and Nancy? They’re Grays from space on a pre-wedding trip, with ridiculously long names. They’ve got a lot going on too.)
(…Honestly, I’m the only normal one here!)
With a sigh, Natsuki shrugged. After finishing his dinner and gulping down his oolong tea, he put his hands together and said, “Thanks for the meal!” before placing his dishes in the sink.
He decided to leave the washing for tomorrow. After everything that happened today, he was exhausted. His eyelids felt heavy, and he was ready to fall asleep at any moment.
“…Yawn. Sorry, I’m going to bed. I’m feeling super sleepy.”
“Well, of course you are. You used my power a lot today, even though you normally can’t. Hmph, not that I’m worried or anything, but make sure you cover yourself with a blanket and don’t let your stomach get cold!”
“…Ah, thank you.”
(She’s totally worried about me!)
Natsuki couldn’t help but smile at the Holy Sword, who had turned away with a red face, trying to hide her concern.
He decided to ignore the drunken folks bowing toward her and saying, “Thank you for being so tsundere!”
“And if you’re going to bed, then I will too. Goodnight, alien, angel, and rotten girl.”
“Use our names!”
“Please stop calling me ‘rotten’!”
“Have a good night, Holy Sword-dono.”
“Goodnight.”
After everyone exchanged their goodbyes, the Holy Sword sparked briefly and then returned inside Natsuki.
“…Oh, she went back inside. Well, goodnight, everyone!”
Koume and the others waved as they watched Natsuki head upstairs.
After a moment, Koume and Ginko paused and exchanged glances.
“…Wait, that little girl is inside Natsuki, so technically, aren’t they sleeping together?”
“What a coincidence, I was thinking the same thing. And what if she materializes while he’s asleep and does… this or that?”
“Hold on now, that’s a bit far-fetched, don’t you think?”
Though Jack tried to stop them with some common sense, it seemed his words didn’t reach Koume and Ginko, as their imaginations ran wild.
Nancy looked at Jack and shook her head.
“Shall we go?”
“Let’s do this!”
Having come to some sort of conclusion, the two women shouted, “Thanks for the meal!” in unison and headed straight for Natsuki’s room.
“Poor Natsuki, he’s got his hands full,” Jack chuckled.
Nancy giggled. “Yes, indeed.”
They both imagined the confused Natsuki and couldn’t help but smile.
■
“Why… Why are Koume-chan and Ginko-san sleeping in the same bed as me? I’m exhausted, but what am I supposed to do, sandwiched between them? And they’re already asleep! Ugh, I’m feeling their breath, and it’s… not exciting at all! It reeks of alcohol!”
