Returned from Another World, Earth Turned Out to Be Quite the Fantasy Too. Also, Losing Heroines, Stop Looking This Way. - V3 Chapter 26
Chapter 26: “Can’t Defend That?” ①
Ginko and Koume, who had cried out in despair, fell to their knees and wept.
“What have you done?”
“What did the beer do to deserve this? It only wanted to be enjoyed by us!”
“Apologize! Apologize to the farmers who grew the barley! To the manufacturers! To the delivery workers! To the stores that sold it! And apologize to me!”
Ren, puzzled by their dramatic tears like something out of an old manga, asked Yusuke.
“Um, is beer really that expensive?”
“Well, it’s not cheap, but I wouldn’t react like my family was murdered. It’s bitter and not that tasty.”
“I don’t get it. But anyway, that guy is finished.”
“What?”
“Those two have a strong friend, Natsuki Yura-kun, who can kill demons without mercy. They’re like family to him.”
“―Wait, you know Yura-kun?”
“Eh? You too?”
Ren and Yusuke, realizing they both knew Natsuki, started to bond over their mutual acquaintance.
Ignoring them, Seishiro Kanna stood gripping his blood-stained Totsuka-no-Tsurugi.
“Still fooling around, I see. I taught you to be serious when fighting. That will be your downfall.”
“Who are you?”
“…I see. To you, I’m just that insignificant.”
Seishiro acted as if he knew Ginko, but Ginko just tilted her head in confusion. Koume whispered quietly in her ear.
“Ginko, this is bad. I think he’s a stalker.”
“No way!”
“That intense gaze, the willingness to use a sword to get what he wants—it screams stalker.”
“I figured. Now that you mention it, I’ve felt someone watching me before.”
“Screw you, aaaaahhhh!”
Seishiro exploded in anger, and divine energy erupted from his Totsuka-no-Tsurugi.
The energy was so powerful that it would have blown away an ordinary person without spiritual power, potentially causing serious injury. The weaker ones might even die just from being exposed to it.
“Such power!”
“What kind of person is he?”
Ren stepped between Ginko and Koume, creating a barrier to protect them.
Yusuke didn’t move but strengthened the barrier around them to prevent any damage beyond the riverside. However, the effort drained his magic, and he fell to his knees, unable to move.
“Impressive. You’re quite skilled for your age. Ginko Aoyama, if you don’t remember me, let me introduce myself. I am Seishiro Kanna.”
“…”
Ginko remained silent, causing Seishiro’s face to twitch in frustration.
“I was a teacher at the school you barely attended!”
“…”
Ginko still couldn’t remember, and Seishiro started trembling with anger.
“I’m the man you stole the ancestral spirit sword from!”
“Oh! Yeah, I remember now! You were the kind guy who gave me the spirit sword Hanako! So nostalgic!”
“Don’t give the ancestral spirit sword such a ridiculous name!”
〜〜Afterword〜〜
Seishiro has every right to be angry.
Meanwhile, Natsuki.
Natsuki: “Earth, Japan, Mukaijima City! I’m back!”
Senju: “Why is he so excited? It’s already past eight.”
Jack: “He was like this last time too. Please be patient with him.”
Senju: “―If you say so, My Lord.”
Jack: “And I’m not a god.”
Natsuki: “Hey, Jack, Senju-san, the air tastes great! Oh, look, flowers are blooming! ―Wait, what’s that?”
