Returned from Another World, Earth Turned Out to Be Quite the Fantasy Too. Also, Losing Heroines, Stop Looking This Way. - V2 Chapter 30
Chapter 30: “Got dragged into it, huh?” ②
“W-w-w-w-why is the person who left with a smile on their face now on the brink of death!? Koume-chan, Ginko-san, come here! Kazuto, you get inside the house too.”
“O-okay.”
“Doesn’t seem like anyone’s followed them… alright, let’s get inside quickly!”
Carrying the blood-soaked Alphonse, Natsuki enters the house.
He extends his sensing abilities to their limit but finds no one tracking Alphonse and Kazuto.
“Wha!? What happened here!? Even if Alphonse is weak, he’s still Michael’s son!”
“…Ugh, his stomach is a mess. I can’t use healing magic, but I can do first aid. Oh, how about we call someone from the Minazuki family for help?”
As Ginko pointed out, Alphonse’s abdominal injury was severe.
His stomach was torn open, organs visible, and the dark red blood wouldn’t stop, staining his clothes and the entryway floor red.
The bleeding was excessive.
It appeared that even for angels, the danger of losing too much blood had been no different from that for humans.
They made Kazuto bring towels from the bathroom to press against the abdominal wound.
Kazuto’s clothes were completely red from carrying Alphonse. He appeared unharmed but visibly shaken. Under normal circumstances, he would probably have wanted to ask Natsuki and the others what was happening, but he held back due to the emergency.
“…Natsuki, I’m sorry.”
“Alphonse-san, what happened?”
“I was attacked…”
“By demons?”
In response to Natsuki’s question, Alphonse weakly shook his head to deny it.
“The one who attacked me was a human.”
“…What?”
“His magical and physical abilities were absurd… Be careful.”
Natsuki attempted healing magic, but the wound was too deep.
His healing abilities were extraordinary, but they had limitations and worked best on himself. While he could manage simple injuries or reattach an arm, repairing a stomach torn open and damaged organs required time.
He wished he had his full powers from another world; then, brute-force healing might have been possible.
“…I wanted to post a picture on social media, showing off being cozy with the three sisters… Wanted to boast about it.”
“You had three sisters harem!? And what if that ended up being your last words!?”
Natsuki then remembered.
He had restored Koume’s lost wings himself, and the means to do so were readily available.
He had been too confused to remember immediately.
Natsuki immediately cut his wrist lightly with a hand blade, allowing the blood to drip into Alphonse’s mouth and then onto his abdomen.
“…I’m not a vampire.”
As Alphonse tried to say he wasn’t a vampire, a change occurred in him.
His body pulsed, and he opened his bloodshot eyes.
The next moment, Alphonse’s abdomen began to heal amidst a mist of blood.
“…What is this?”
Ignoring the astonished Kazuto, Alphonse’s wounds were all healed.
As Alphonse, with his breathing unsettled, touched his abdomen and confirmed the absence of wounds, he seemed to realize something and looked at Natsuki with surprise.
“Natsuki… were you of pure bloodline?”
“Seems so.”
“…Seriously? Well, that’s good. Anyway, you saved me. Thank you.”
Alphonse, deeply bowing his head as he sat up, received a modest “No problem” from Natsuki.
Even though the existence of a human capable of defeating an angel was astonishing, there was something even more important.
“Um, Natsuki-kun? It feels like something straight out of a fantasy just happened. Can you please explain?”
Kazuto, unable to hide his confusion, prompted Natsuki, Ginko, Koume, and Alphonse to exchange looks, conceding that they couldn’t cover it up.
“How about you take a shower and change first? I’ll explain everything over lunch.”
Natsuki had hoped not to involve Kazuto in their world, but now that it had come to this, he decided to tell him everything.
Yet, Natsuki also felt a sense of relief internally.
He no longer had to keep secrets from his best friend and brotherly figure. He hoped that Kazuto, now aware of everything, would not drift away.
〜〜Afterword〜〜
It would be great if Kazuto accepts Natsuki.
Acceptance could lead to the goddess route. Oops, I shouldn’t say more, should I?
Following up on my previous message, I apologize for not being able to respond to comments over the weekend due to family matters. I am reading all your comments, so I would be delighted if you could keep them coming.
