My Status Window is a yandere - CHAPTER – 10
POV of the saint
The saint: “I was careless”
I said out loud in frustration, everything was going so well that I let my guard down, that witch doctor gave me a bad feeling, but since he was recommended by the ministers I thought it was just my imagination, but I should have followed my instincts.
When the magician started the teleportation I tried to use a counterspell but it seemed there were already countermeasures, the place we were in already had a magic circle to counter me, when we teleported I could feel that we were already out of our human faction.
It’s supposed to be impossible to leave the respective factions because of the barriers but it seems they already know how to avoid them, which should be theoretically impossible because it was done by the supreme god, I’ll have to investigate later the first thing is to save the heroes and get out of here.
The Saint: “Heroes, gather in the center, soldiers, surround them and protect them with your lives!!! We’ll teleport out of here, buy yourself 10 minutes!!!”
Soldiers: At your command!!!
The soldiers surrounded the heroes while protecting them from the beasts surrounding us. Normally, I shouldn’t be able to pass through faction barriers, but as humans, the barrier won’t prevent us from returning to our factions. I began to build and chant the teleportation spell.
The witch who set the trap for us had already prepared the spell so he could activate it immediately, but it took him 10 minutes to activate it from scratch.
Shiro’s brother: Everyone, get well!!! We need to defend ourselves!!!
As expected of the main hero, he was able to recover quickly despite being the first time he faced a deadly situation like this, despite having been a civilian recently, not everyone listened to him and were scared, some urinated, but half of them stood up, it seems his charisma is coming into action.
Shiro’s Brother: Mages, stay in the center and support the front lines!!! Fighters, protect them!!! Remember, we only need to hold out for 10 minutes to survive. Just hold out for that long!!!
He seems quick-thinking and knows the basics of command. As the minutes passed, I saw everyone fighting while the monsters tried to kill us. Some were injured, some lightly but healed with magic. The most critical were given the elixir. The heroes were given an elixir capable of perfect healing, even recovering lost limbs, and an absolute shield as a gift from the system and goddess.
But that has a limit, we have few heroes, I see the main hero cutting a monster in half with a slice and the soldiers fighting against several monsters, five minutes passed, suddenly I felt a presence behind me, I turned and saw a monster that entered through an opening about to stab me with its tail like a scorpion’s.
Shiro: Not in my presence!!!!!!!
*Slashh* *Splurt*
I saw Shiro receiving the attack that pierced his stomach, I was about to scream but I couldn’t stop because I’m in the middle of an enchantment if I stop there will be an inversion and I won’t be able to continue the spell, I saw Shiro turn his head and look at me with a bitter smile from which blood came out.
Shiro: “Don’t worry, I won’t die. After all, I haven’t received a lap pillow from you yet.”
Somehow that smile hurt me, I remembered how I’ve avoided him this month and now I regret it. It’s the first time someone has risked their life for me. It hurts me to see his wound, but I can’t stop the spell to treat him. If we get out of here alive, I’ll be grateful and try not to avoid him so much.
Shiro’s brother: “Shiro!!!!”
Shiro’s brother sliced the monster and grabbed Shiro before he fell, he looked quite desperate as he looked at his little brother.
Shiro’s brother: “Hurry up, use the elixir!! I already used mine on someone else.”
Shiro: “Sorry…cough…I already used it on someone else too.”
Shiro’s brother: “SOMEONE WHO HAS ELIXIR FAST WE NEED IT!!!!!”
The desperate cry went unanswered as it seemed the elixirs were already gone. He quickly carried Shiro and took him to a healing mage who tried to use magic to stop the bleeding but it seemed impossible, he was only delaying the inevitable.
Shiro: “Don’t worry, I won’t die so easily, you still have to fight.”
Shiro’s brother looked around at Shiro repeatedly before saying with a face of frustration and despair.
Shiro’s brother: “Don’t you dare die, you heard me!!!”
Shiro: “Hahaha…at your service”
Shiro’s brother ran off to help delay the monsters, so time passed until 9 of the 10 minutes passed and it happened that we despaired, what was believed to be the boss here appeared, an iverna more than 13 meters tall, I could see how everyone lost hope and lost the strength in their legs until they fell on their ass, I continued with the incantation and there are a few more 10 seconds left, I have to achieve it.
Suddenly the wyvern’s tail was used as a whip towards us, just 5 seconds please just 5 seconds.
*Klaaaan!!!!*
Suddenly a shadow was seen flying at an incredible speed and colliding with a sword against its tail, deflecting it from its trajectory, and the spell was activated right after.
Unfortunately the magic circle wasn’t big enough to cover that person too, everything turned white from the light and when we came to we were in the castle everyone gasped and screamed in relief and excitement, but suddenly a scream was heard.
Shiro’s brother: “Shiro! Shiro! Where is he?”
Shiro’s brother was seen grabbing the magician who was treating Shiro.
Wizard: “I don’t know, he suddenly stood up after the bleeding miraculously stopped and flew towards that giant monster.”
Everyone, including me, was shocked and speechless by that until Shiro’s brother was heard falling to his knees and screaming.
I also felt quite guilty, he saved me twice risking his life, I felt bad for ignoring him all this time thinking he was just playing with me, I wanted to go out and save him but I held back, as a saint I have to be impartial and make the best decision in this war, I can’t risk everything for just one person, I tried to contact the goddess, I have to see if he can be saved before he dies, at least I’ll try.
