Let me be a mob! - Chapter 116- Good news?
The second princess of the Empire and the third heiress of the throne, Dia von Erienshide was having a cup of tea in the garden while staring at nothing particular.
After that incident with the Crimson Demon, it was natural for every high noble to call their children back and those as well, who prioritized their child’s life rather than their career.
Naturally, Dia was also called back by her father since after that incident he lost his faith in the security of Excalius Academy.
There have been rumors that the Academy now would be fully centrally administered and the security would also be handled by the Empire.
The condition of the headmaster was unknown. Whether the Academy is continuing was also not certain.
For the past few days, Dia has been unnaturally silent around others. It wasn’t like she was avoiding them, or anything…Dia just doesn’t know what to say or how to express her emotions
Since that day…she hasn’t cried even for once.
The emotions she has been boiling up after losing Jin keep Dia awake at night. And if she somehow falls asleep, she suddenly wakes up in the middle of the night; gasping and sweating helplessly.
Unlike Fiona, Dia couldn’t grieve over her loss and express her true emotions in front of others…and that includes her family members as well. Forget about consoling her, numerous suspicious and denigratory objections would rise against her behavior.
‘…is there really nothing I can do?’ For once, as the princess of the Empire Dia wanted to use her position to search for Jin…however the Prime Minister, who has a good relation with Dia, explicitly told her that the Demonic realm is out of anyone’s reach. Money or power doesn’t matter when it comes to the other realm.
She, once again was helpless. She was th weakest amongst the group back in the academy and even as a Princess, she could do nothing.
‘Haah…I wonder how Jin used to solve everything on his own, regardless of the circumstances…’
Dia sighed as she leaned on her chair and massaged her head.
It was strange how she thought about Jin almost every hour of her day.
“Your Highness.” Suddenly the personal attendant of Dia, Claude appeared beside her lady and called out in a respectful tone.
“What is it?” Dia has told her maid to not disturb her during this hour of the day. Since Dia has returned to the palace, her usual classes have restarted—as such, she barely gets time to spend leisurely.
Claude was unbothered by the tone as she informed her lady in a slightly enthusiastic tone,
“Lady Fiona has requested to meet you. She is waiting in the reception.”
Dia’s expression shifted from annoyed to shock as she nearly tripped and fell off the chair.
“Eh? Why- ah, forget that. Please clean up here. I will be going.”
Seeing her lady’s improved complexion, the maid smiled before she nodded and bid farewell to her lady.
I hope some good news awaits her—the maid inwardly prayed.

[Dia’sPOV:]
‘Fiona is here? Is everything alright? Did she…’ I couldn’t help thinking of such a possibility which made my feet move a little faster than how I should be moving.
The reception area seemed annoyingly far today as I ignored those servants who greeted me on the way and made my way toward my friend.
After we left the Academy I never made any contact with Fiona or the others. They all were distorted because of Jin’s disappearance and Fiona was the most. She is the person who loves Jin the most and for her to be not there when he was abducted…I couldn’t compare my grief to hers.
From what I have heard from Professor Lisa through the letter, it seemed only Silvie and Aiden were in the academy from our group. Even Rena has been called back by her mother despite her protest.
‘I wonder how they are doing…’ Knowing Aiden, he must have been putting up a strong front and training rigorously in hopes of rescuing Jin.
Compared to him, I feel useless.
“Good evening, Your Highness.” The butler who was serving tea and snacks to Fiona, bowed to me before I nodded and told him to leave
Fiona was sitting with an upright posture and her eyes radiated nothing but indifference.
This side of hers was something I was used to. Before meeting Jin, Fiona always kept a cold demeanor around everyone.
“Fiona…how have you been?”
I sat opposite the girl and asked in a hesitant voice.
I was trying my best to hold my impatience and greet her normally. Although I was curious about her reason for the visit, I didn’t want to give off the impression that a casual visit from Fiona was not welcomed.
However, it seems Fiona didn’t want to chat about casual stuff(fortunately) and wanted to get on with the main topic.
“If possible let’s chat in your room…well, if only Your Highness Princess Dia would allow me to enter her room.”
Seeing the sly smile, and the way she was joking around, I somehow felt a heavy weight lifting off my chest.
She definitely knows something about Jin—with that thought, I pulled Fiona to my room.

“I think that should be all for today. You already have extended your training hours. Stop pushing yourself this much or this might prove to be counterproductive.”
Lisa scolded a sweat-bathed Aiden, who currently was squatting down with his legendary sword planted on the ground.
He has been training under Lisa apart from the regular lessons from the academy instructors. The number of hours he sleeps was less than five and the hours he trains has easily exceeded two digits.
Although Lisa understood his motive to train this much, she couldn’t help but worry that what if everything resulted in nothing?
“Please don’t make that face, Professor. I am sure that one day, I will bring him back.”
Lisa was stunned that Aiden read her expression so well.
However, even though she didn’t wish to, a part of her mind always dreaded the worst for Jin.
“…I pray for your success.” She could only do that much. Apart from training Aiden, she could only hope that Jin would return one day.
Aiden didn’t say anything after that and tried to get up…only to find his feet staggering and his face nearing the ground.
Lisa moved at the right time and held him by the shoulders.
The intoxicating male pheromones blinded her senses for a moment and his wide shoulders distracted the lady…but she somehow collected her thoughts and didn’t allow her expression to shift.
“Thanks. I will be back tomorrow.”
Aiden, who didn’t realize his teacher’s growing dilemma, detached himself from her hold and walked out of the training ground….only to bump into a familiar person.
“Silvie?”
“Aiden! I was searching for you.”
Aiden tilted his head in confusion seeing the unnatural vigor on her face. However, before he could ask anything her following words, made his mind numb,
“I have located Jin!”
