Let me be a mob! - Chapter 114- Manipulation
Jin was restless.
He didn’t have any problem staying in the Demon realm for the time being, since the person in front of his eyes was someone with whom he could spend his whole life.
However, Jin wanted to notify his friends, especially Fiona, about the fact that he was alive and safe.
‘I should have given her the ring…’ Jin had thought of proposing to Fiona next year around her birthday that’s why he didn’t give her the ring, he planned to.
It was a special kind of ring which allows you to communicate with your partner…however, his delay left him with no other option than to rely on Alzeith.
Currently, she was lying on his lap with a satisfied smile on her face. The way she was giggling occasionally, seemed adorable. However, his distress didn’t allow Jin to fully pay attention to the woman.
“Yuu…” Jin directed his eyes toward Alzeith, who had raised her hand to caress his cheek, as her blood-red eyes stared at him, warmly.
“Why do you care about those people so much? Didn’t you like to be alone in the past?”
Jin was reminded of the time when he usually tried to isolate himself from others and remain in solitude. He liked the silence always surrounding him.
Truth be told, in this life as well, Jin initially sought to be just a mob character, who stayed on the sidelines and helped the protagonist from the shadows.
However, one thing led to another and before Jin knew, he became a part of the main cast. Considering how that blond girl, who introduced herself as Dia and Jin’s daughter, told some of the things about the future—Jin discerned that remaining in the shadows never was an option.
“It’s different now, Aya. I intended to remain alone but got to know what I have been missing all this time.” With a sigh, Jin softly caressed her head as he continued,
“People whom I met, either by chance or choice weren’t selfish or mean to me. They weren’t just with me in the hope of some gain. They just…wanted to be my friend and I wasn’t able to refuse that.”
Thinking back, the circumstances under which Jin came to know Aiden and the others and formed a bond of friendship, were under extreme situations. However, even though they were initially just thankful to him, Jin was able to get close to those people whom he now called his friends.
It was quite an alien feeling for him.
Jin didn’t realize that the woman lying in his lap had parted her eyes and now was staring at Jin with a complicated expression.
“Yuu…if I ask you to choose between me and her…who will you choose?”
Jin didn’t need to ask her who this ‘her’ was. As he expected, Aya’s main concern wasn’t his friends but only Fiona.
However, Jin had no motive to lie to her even though it seemed to be a more beneficial option,
“The time when I confessed my love to you….do you remember what I said?”
Aya’s face turned a little red as she nodded.
Jin smiled at that as his fingers brushed against her cheek and some words from the past left his throat, “I said, from here on, whatever happens between us. Under any circumstances, I will never abandon you. And you know Aya that I never went back on my words.”
This time, her mood soured a little as she realized what he was trying to imply here.
She got up from his lap and sat while facing him,
“Yuu…your vow was limited to only me. I am and always will be your lover, you need to remember that.”
Alzeith’s eyes shone with a dangerous glint as she tried getting up from the bed, intending to leave and do something that Jin wouldn’t like.
However, before she could move away, her wrist was held in a tight grip and the Demon Monarch was pulled on the bed with a force, she couldn’t resist.
Finding herself encaged between her lover’s arms was something she could never reject…but at this moment, she didn’t want to be near him.
It was because…
“Aya…do you remember our future plans to have lots and lots of babies?”
….because…
“And to make a small house near a farm and spend the rest of our lives in isolation from the whole world?”
….it was because…
“Imagine having so many kids running around the house and some cute dogs playing in the yard. I return home after a long day at work and you, my wife, greet me wearing nothing but an apron? Don’t you want to enjoy that life?”
“Agh! I got it. Here!”
IT WAS BECAUSE SHE KNEW SHE WOULD GET MANIPULATED BY HIM!
Jin, with a toothy grin, took the small key that would unlock the anklets he was wearing.
With a red face, Aya got back up on her feet and with her back facing him, she declared,
“I have only allowed you to talk to her…don’t get ahead of yourself.”
Jin grinned at that reaction before he got up from the bed and silently kissed her cheek softly, “My Aya is the best. Love you.”
A flaming hot Aya dashed away from the room after being assaulted by her lover.
She…she just couldn’t resist him!

Once Alzeith left the room, Jin sat back down on the bed and used the key to unlock his mana blockers.
‘Although I persuaded her this time…’ Jin was stressed about how he would convince Aya to let him return to the human realm.
He has many things to sort out before the return of the Great Demon Lord. And by remaining here, he couldn’t do much.
‘But there is an option now…to have Alzeith’s army on our side…’ The Demon Succubus was among the three strongest Generals of the Demon King’s army.
If she assists humans in the battle against the Demon Lord then there is a high chance of victory….or no.
Every demon in this realm was under the direct command of their liege, that is, Demon Lord. As such, even if Alzeith breaks her connection with the true Demon Monarch, her army would no longer heed her command.
‘Well forget it. I just need Aya on my side.’

With a clicking sound, the ankle lock finally detached before a rush of mana surged across his body.
Jin took a heavy breath feeling his powers returning to him.
‘Now let’s contact her…’ Closing his eyes, Jin entrusted his consciousness to the spirits to connect him to a specific person.
