Chapter 21: The Avenger Reven Takes Revenge on the Goblin King

When they entered the Goblin Lord’s chamber, Reven drew his swords.

“GYOOO…”

“I know you bastards have been attacking people and livestock in the village. I’ll get revenge on you on behalf of those two who were done in!”

Saying that, Reven took his stance.

“Y-You… did that… to us…”

When the young swordsman said that weakly, Reven paused for a moment, then prepared a cannon.

“We wish for peace. So we don’t use cannons. But if it’s to kill this Goblin Lord, we’re totally fine with it.”

Lumie shoved Reven into the cannon, preparing the attack.

For some reason, Roaks was also thrown into the cannon.

Following Lumie’s instructions, Flam lit the cannon’s fuse, looking somewhat bewildered.

Reven tossed the two aside, then glared at the Goblin Lord and said:

“You bastard… How dare you do that to those two!! I won’t forgive you!!”

When Roaks interjected, Reven slashed through space.

But nothing happened.

“Wh-What? Nothing’s happening.”

“Heh, this technique summons myself from the future!! Goblin Lord, you’re finished!!”

As Roaks’s scream echoed hollowly, something appeared from the space.

“Here it comes!! Emerge from the darkness of revenge! Me from two hours in the future!!”

And then, Reven from two hours in the future appeared from between dimensions.

For some reason, he was all beat up.

“…Why are you beat up?!”

When Roaks interjected, Reven from two hours in the future replied:

“You’ll understand later.”

Future Reven said that, then glared at present Reven.

“Oh my~ That person is so scary~”

As Reven cowered with swaying hips, something else emerged from the darkness of the spatial cut caused by “Regret for the Future.”

What emerged was a rotting corpse—a zombie.

“It’s a zombieee!!”

“Huh? Did I overwork him a bit too much?”

“You don’t just turn into a zombie!! It’s a zombie!!”

The zombified Reven groaned while biting into a nearby gorilla-like monster.

And what emerged from there was a giant dragon.

Dragon Reven scorched the entire area with flame breath.

“No discriminatiooon!!”

“And now, the finishing blow! Emerge, me from eight hours in the future!!”

And Reven from eight hours in the future emerged.

The Goblin Lord was on maximum alert.

If it took the next hit, it would surely die.

But that thought didn’t matter.

“GYA… GYAAAAAAAA…”

It was suddenly stabbed from behind.

By the hand of Reven, who had become a ghost ship captain.

However, the Revens from the future seemed furious.

“You made us work like slaves!!”

“To use the future, you’ll have to waste it in the present!! In the name of the Pirates!!”

Saying that, they attacked present-time Reven.
