I Got Reincarnated as a Villainous Noble, and When I Tried to Create an All-Male Academy to Avoid a Bad Ending, for Some Reason the Gender Ratio Reversed? - Chapter 51
Chapter 51: Orufu Rangers
After I finished greeting the protagonist’s party—the Orufu Rangers crew—I took one step toward heading to the classroom, but…
“Hm?”
“What’s up? You itching to fight me already? ‘Cause I’m totally itching over here.”
“Nah, that’s not it. Why’re you guys following right behind me?”
They just enrolled, so they should’ve had a bunch of stuff to do, right? But nope—they stuck to my back like glue. It was so close I almost thought they were stalking me.
It bugged me enough that I finally asked, and Vista answered with this big, carefree grin.
“Why? ‘Cause we’re obviously gonna learn a ton just by sticking next to you, duh.”
“Next to me?”
“Yeah! Right next to you!”
…What the heck.
Lucina’s like this, Alenaria’s like this—why do all the original cast members have such messed-up senses of personal space?
It seriously weirded me out.
“Next to me, huh…”
“Yeah!”
I almost grabbed my head right then.
“Hm, things sure are lively around here.”
A familiar voice cut in, and when I looked up, there was the headmaster.
He came pattering over in his slippers, looking like nothing but a little kid. But the aura he gave off was pure powerhouse.
Probably trying not to get looked down on by Vista and the others.
“Hey, it’s the headmaster!”
“So? How was meeting Olufusen?”
“Man, he’s insane. When we shook hands, his grip was crazy. That’s the hand of someone who’s trained like hell.”
“He’s not big on words, but he’s a hard worker and a good guy. Get along with him, yeah?”
“You got it!”
“Alright, lemme give you guys a quick rundown of what’s next… Hey, Olufusen. Wait up. You listen too.”
“Why?”
“‘Cause you’re involved.”
I tried to slip away while the headmaster started explaining stuff to them, but nope—got stopped.
Had no choice but to listen.
Then the headmaster dropped this bombshell.
“Welcome to the academy, Orufu Rangers. Right off the bat, starting today you’re gonna be in the same class as Olufusen and do activities together.”
“…Huh?”
“It’s like a trial enrollment. You don’t gotta join every single class, but since you’re here, might as well pop into the ones that catch your eye.”
Did he just say… same class?
Meaning these guys are gonna be in my class now?
“You bet!”
“Of course, desu wa.”
“I-I’ll do my besttt.”
“Yare yare, studying after all this time, huh.”
Every single party member looked pumped.
Not one of them even hinted at refusing. It was like they already knew this was coming.
Probably only I was left in the dark.
“What the hell’s going on?”
“No ‘what the hell’ about it.”
The headmaster shrugged, then gave this sly grin and said,
“The Orufu Rangers were adventurers you were already keeping an eye on, right? This is perfect. Olufusen and Orufu Rangers—names already match up great.”
“That’s not the point!”
“Yeah. I just didn’t tell you.”
Is this guy really the headmaster?
I’d believe someone if they said he was just some random kid more than this.
That’s how irresponsible he was being.
Was this all his solo decision? Or did Fran pull strings behind the scenes?
Either way, thinking about it now wasn’t gonna change anything.
“I’m counting on you, Olufusen.”
The headmaster said that and lightly patted my shoulder.
“Haa…”
Honestly, there’s no way I can handle these four.
They’re impossible to manage.
A protagonist party is basically a walking bundle of walking disasters no matter how you look at it.
“My stomach hurts—can I head to the nurse’s office?”
“No way. Step up and do your job as the face of this academy.”
Easy for him to say.
I couldn’t help thinking this was way too much for one person.
If Fran were here right now, it’d feel so reassuring, but of course today she’s out.
I found myself really missing my fiancée all over again.
“Alright, first things first—let’s explore the academy!”
“Kinda exciteddd.”
“Don’t get too hyper, okay?”
“Kanaria-han, you’re the one getting all hyped though?”
“Wha—no I’m not, desu wa. Let’s go, Tore.”
“Yes desuuu.”
“Alright! First up—find some strong guys to fight!”
Is this really gonna be okay?
They were already sticking out like sore thumbs at the academy, and I just knew trouble was coming.
At least if I could call Lucina or Alenaria to act as brakes, but nope—those two are troublemakers themselves.
Things were definitely gonna spiral into total chaos.
Why are there so few normal people at this academy?
It was so depressing I couldn’t help but sigh out loud.

[Side: Fran Chevalier]
When I found out the truth, it all just… clicked.
Why i was born with high magic power.
Why I had talent in so many different areas—it actually made sense now.
Of course I put in a ton of effort. I never slacked on training.
I was proud that I’d worked extra hard just to live up to Ol-sama’s expectations.
But still, the reason I could get this far… yeah, that explains it.
It hit me all at once, and at the same time this new feeling started growing deep in my chest.
Ol-sama.
If the witch ever revives—
I might actually get to shine. I might be able to protect Ol-sama.
This rush in my blood, this pounding in my heart—it proves it.
So leave it to me.
I’ll make sure Ol-sama’s future is safe.
