I Got Reincarnated as a Villainous Noble, and When I Tried to Create an All-Male Academy to Avoid a Bad Ending, for Some Reason the Gender Ratio Reversed? - Chapter 52
Chapter 52: My Class Turned Into Total Chaos
After that, the protagonist’s crew really did show up in my class.
Bottom line—it was hell.
This class was already all girls except for me from the start.
Then two more guys got thrown in. No way the vibe wasn’t gonna change big time.
And these dudes were super laid-back too.
“Hey, this seat cool?”
“Oi Vista, class already started!”
“Huh? For real? The bell hasn’t even rung yet, right?”
Vista just yelled loud as hell even during lessons. His focus lasted maybe three minutes tops.
He’d stare out the window, suddenly stand up, and start swinging his sword like it was nothing—full-on weird behavior.
“Hey, what’d ya think of that form just now?”
“It’s stiffer than usual, desu wa.”
“For real? Watch me do it again!”
If the teacher called him out, he’d apologize all nice and polite, but thirty seconds later he’d be off doing something else. Guy had zero chill.
And it wasn’t just him causing problems.
“Ughhh, my notes got all crumpled againnn.”
Tore kept messing up somehow and looked super down about it every time,
“That’s how it is, desu wa. That’s exactly how it is.”
Kanaria at least tried to pay attention in class, but man, she talked to herself nonstop.
It straight-up wrecked the flow of every lesson.
Only Orion kinda read the room, barely.
“Sorry, teach. These guys aren’t used to sitting in chairs or anything.”
He actually apologized to the teacher with that much consideration.
Okay, fine—during class he was decent. The real issue hit during breaks.
“Hey you, you’re super cute, huh.”
“…Huh?”
“Man, being an adventurer means no chances to meet girls like this.”
“Gross!”
—Slap!
He’d hit on girls and eat a clean open-hand smack to the face.
“Don’t ever talk to me again.”
“Why not—”
And he’d just keep doing it over and over. He could read the air sometimes, but the second a girl was involved, he’d go full runaway. Overall? Total fail.
These guys were way too much adventurer.
Too free, too in their own world—they didn’t fit the academy mold at all. Felt like a bunch of elementary school troublemakers got dumped together.
And the classmates who couldn’t take it anymore? They all turned to me for help.
Eyes just locked on me like it was obvious.
“Olufusen-sama!”
“Please do something!”
“Ahh god, I finally get how great you really are. Ahhhh…”
Stop it. I’m not their babysitter.
While I got hit with all those looks, I reflexively scanned the classroom.
—Fran’s nowhere in sight.
I never realized how shaky I’d feel without her here. Right now I just wanted to run to her and talk this out.
But nope—looked like I was stuck babysitting these guys myself.
“Olufusen! Let’s train together during lunch break!”
“Hard pass.”
“Why not!”
“‘Cause lunch break’s for eating lunch.”
“Then let’s eat while we train!”
No way, dude.
If I took my eyes off them even for a second, something was definitely gonna explode. So even though I hated it, I had to stick close.
“Haa…”
Wish they’d just go back to being adventurers already.
※
In the original story, Lucina was part of their same party.
So normally their chemistry should’ve been fine.
They might’ve even hit it off right away.
That’s what I figured, but…
“Hey, can you do something about those guys?”
After school.
I stepped out into the hallway and Lucina chased after me, her face screaming she was pissed.
“Do something how?”
“They’re so loud I can’t even focus in class.”
I totally agreed with that one, full force.
“Seriously, why are a bunch of wild adventurers even at the academy?”
She sounded like she genuinely didn’t get it at all.
Can’t blame her for being shocked. I was shocked too when it happened outta nowhere.
“I got no clue either.”
“Why not!”
“I’m the one asking that.”
I really didn’t know anything.
“Can’t you get Fran to handle it?”
“No chance. She’s apparently super busy with stuff.”
“Then we’re screwed.”
Lucina grabbed her head like she was in total despair.
Begging Fran for help—she must’ve really wanted them gone bad.
“Is there seriously nothing?”
“Nope.”
I shot it down quick, but then one idea popped into my head.
“…If you really want, there’s one thing.”
“What?”
“They’re adventurers. They bet their lives on their strength. So just show ’em strength. How about a mock battle? Beat ’em and done, right?”
“Mock battle’s fine, but why do I gotta fight?”
“They don’t seem like the type to listen to anyone weaker than them, do they?”
“…Yeah, true.”
She thought for a second, then nodded like it made sense.
“I’ll do it!”
Fire lit up in her eyes.
“I don’t care if they’re S-rank adventurers or whatever—I’ve been training this whole time too.”
She clenched her fist and said it loud and proud.
“No way I’m losing.”
“Yeah. Good luck.”
Honestly? Her chances of winning were basically zero.
These were the protagonist crew. Dragon slayers.
Way stronger than in the original.
But getting involved with them probably wasn’t a bad thing overall.
Clashes, losses—all of it would be big experiences. Hanging with strong people was bound to spark something in her.
Pretty high chance it’d turn out good for Lucina.
While I thought that, I watched her back as she headed off to the training grounds to take on the protagonist crew.
※
But yeah—one problem leaves and another jumps right in.
The protagonist party was already enough to give me stomach pain.
And of course, right then I ran into Alenaria.
And not just any run-in.
Even from far away, you could tell she was carrying some massive trouble.
‘Cause she had tears in her eyes and was yelling,
“Help meeee!”
while charging straight at me.
Classic walking landmine.
“……………………”
Normally I’d spin on my heel and bolt right now, but this time I couldn’t.
After that whole Marilyn thing the other day, she helped me out.
Well, more like “helped” by threatening me, but still—I owed her one.
No way I could just ignore her here.
“Ol-san! Ol-san! It’s bad! Please help!”
“What’s wrong?”
Super bad feeling already.
I took one step back thinking maybe I should run anyway, but she grabbed both my hands tight and said,
“If this keeps up, I might actually get fired from being a saintess!”
“Huh?”
Did the church finally notice how off her head was?
That’d actually make sense, but probably not.
Either way, it was trouble. No question.
