How I Ended Up with an Extreme Yandere Landmine Beauty When I Asked to Hang Out with My Best Friend's Sister to Get Better at Talking to Girls - Chapter 31-32
Chapter 31: Merry-Go-Round (Landmine) with a Yandere Landmine Girl
Ever since we got to the amusement park, I’d been stressing about getting clung to or having my hands held by both of them nonstop, so I suggested the merry-go-round first to get some breathing room… but…
“They’ve got couple horses on this merry-go-round too?”
“Yeah. So, Saito-san, how about we take turns fairly with Ryoya-san?”
Take turns with me… what??
Wait, does that mean I’m riding it twice!?
“H-Hold up, Azuri. Sorry for suggesting the merry-go-round myself, but actually, I’ve hated spinning rides ever since—”
“That’s right, Niijima-san. Back in the day, Ryoya-senpai got hugged from behind by my big sister while riding one of those spinning playground things in the park, and ever since then he’s been bad with anything that spins.”
Yeah, that was right around when I was just starting elementary school after kindergarten.
The usual three of us went to the park, and we were messing around on one of those classic spinning jungle gyms.
Shinichi was outside turning it, while me and Maki were inside.
But right after it started spinning, Maki suddenly wobbled and almost smashed her head into the metal bars. I tried to catch her quick, but then she clung onto my body, and I ended up stuck, totally unable to move while the thing kept spinning. That scared the crap outta me.
Ever since then, I can only handle spinning attractions once.
If it spins too many times my eyes get all messed up and it brings back that memory, so I end up feeling weirdly sick and can’t ride again.
“Not even knowing such basic info… I’m honestly shocked.”
No, more like—how the hell do you know that, Mayana!
“Is that true, Ryoya-san?”
“W-Well, yeah.”
“…Then I guess we can’t help it.”
Azuri said that, thought for a second, then opened her mouth again.
“Ryoya-san, one time is okay, right?”
“Huh? Yeah… one time should be fine.”
“…Got it.”
What was that question just now…
“Okay, then let’s do this. Saito-san and I will play rock-paper-scissors, and the winner gets to ride with Ryoya-san. No complaints about that, right?”
“Yeah… that works.”
Hey, hey!
They’re seriously still gonna ride it!?
They’re that desperate to pull ahead in the heart-rate measurement game?
But… it’s kinda logical.
Now that they know I’m weak to this kind of ride, from a “heart-pounding” standpoint, this attraction probably racks up the highest pulse rate possible.
And Azuri sniffed that out instantly…
She’s not just smart—she’s ruthless.
“”Rock-paper-scissors!””

Chapter 32: Yandere Rock-Paper-Scissors Showdown
““Pon!””
What they threw in rock-paper-scissors was Azuri going with paper, and Mayana going with scissors.
“Heh, my win. You better think hard about why you lost, Niijima-san.”
“……Tch.”
Azuri straight-up clicked her tongue like it was nothing.
Whoa, hold up—Azuri finally dropped the nice-girl act completely and started showing her real attitude…
She’s not even pretending to be the honor student anymore, huh.
“So, Ryoya-senpai, shall we go?”
Mayana gently tugged on my right hand that she was holding.
Right when my left hand that was connected to Azuri was about to let go…
“Wait a second, Saito-san!”
Azuri called out to stop Mayana.
“Best of three, right?”
Ugh, she just said something super petty!
That was such a desperate last-second grab.
I’ll give her credit for how badly she hates losing, but come on, that’s pushing it…
I didn’t think Mayana would actually go along with it either.
“……Fine. I’ll give you two more rounds.”
“Seriously?”
Mayana, what’s with you too?
I watched them get ready for another round while feeling kinda dumbfounded.
““Rock—paper—scissors!””
And the second round.
Azuri threw rock, Mayana threw paper.
Mayana wins again…
“N-no way…!”
“So what now, Niijima-san? I could be nice and make it first to three victories if you want.”
“Guhhh!!”
Azuri shot Mayana a glare filled with so much hatred you’d think she just got betrayed by her own family.
What the hell kind of eyes are those…
Watching Azuri eat that humiliation, I was honestly getting fed up.
“The monster’s been defeated, so Ryoya-senpai, let’s ride it now.”
“Uh… wait, just hang on a sec.”
“?”
I walked over toward Azuri.
“Hey, sorry Azuri. It’s my fault you couldn’t ride the merry-go-round even once because I kept losing.”
“It’s fine… It’s my own fault for being so bad at rock-paper-scissors.”
Azuri was fully in sulky mode now, her voice sounding like she was about to cry any second.
Y’know, this side of her really screams “little sister” energy.
“Hey, how about we ride the next attraction together?”
“Huh?”
“Wait a minute, Ryoya-senpai! That totally ruins the whole point of the match!”
“Mayana, look—even if it was a competition, we all came here to have fun together, right? Can’t we just get along for once?”
“That’s… haaah, fine, whatever.”
Looks like Mayana got the message too.
Even though both of them have pretty mature bodies, when it comes down to it they both show that classic youngest-child side.
The pattern of selfish Azuri and patient Mayana was exactly like real little sisters.
“Um, Ryoya-san… thank you.”
“No big deal. Anyway, I’m heading over now.”
“Yes♡ I’ll just stay here and take photos of Ryoya-san’s figure from afar♡”
Can she not pick a fight with every single sentence…
I headed to the merry-go-round together with Mayana.
“Ryoya-senpai, you’re way too nice to everybody.”
Mayana had a slightly pouty look on her face.
I’d thought it’d be nice if the two of them could get along even just a little after the match… but yeah, probably not happening.
