“Morning. Alright. I’d like to ask for your help starting today.”

“Yes, please leave it to me.”

She was remarkably obedient, probably because of the summoning skill. Given that she was once a historical figure… Someone known as the ‘Nun Shogun’ that took control over the government behind the scenes even, I had considered the possibility that she might refuse my request.

“That said, I’ve never assisted at a teahouse before. I’m not sure how much help I can be of…”

She seemed a bit uncertain about herself, but I reassured her and told her not to worry about anything as I introduced her to a reliable senior part-timer at our place. 

“He’ll teach you everything you need to know.”

“U-Um, nice to meet you. My name is Tanaka Masanori.”

Tanaka Masanori introduced himself to Masako Hojo, although he looked a bit nervous. Then, while making sure only I could hear him, he leaned into my ears and whispered. 

“I watched yesterday’s livestream, but I never thought you’d actually make THE Masako Hojo a part-timer here. As expected of Master! Your scale of doing things is beyond impressive.”

For some reason, he was showering me with praise.

“But… Are you sure everything will be okay? I mean, she already said she didn’t have any experience in working at a restau-, at a teahouse before. Can she really handle working a customer service job? Given her status when she was alive, I doubt she ever did any physical work and well… Our restaurant can be pretty demanding…”

“Your concerns are perfectly understandable. If she looks like she’s having a hard time, I will just have her run the register.”

By the way, keeping a summon spirit active consumed my magic power, but I could easily keep her out for a full day. She didn’t consume a lot of magic power for me.

And so, a new force was added to our restaurant.
