Masako Hojo worked diligently. At first, I was worried about whether she could keep up with the pace of our restaurant, but it turned out my concern was completely unfounded. She briskly carried dishes with remarkable agility, and on top of that, she didn’t make a single mistake.

Our restaurant had a system where the customers called out their orders from their tables instead of having them taken by staff. This was designed to improve efficiency, but at the same time, this system also made delivering the food to the correct table quite challenging to do.

In the next instant, Hojo Masako closed the distance and, before anyone could realize it, she had pointed a naginata at the man’s throat.

“If you can’t defeat me, challenging Nishida-sama would be a waste of time.”
