A Chance To Rewrite It All - Chapter 11- Failed
Tanaka Shohei was upset. He has been having some great days of his life these past few months after he found himself a side chick who came looking for a job without having any experience
Given her hot body, Shohei didn’t even think twice before making an ‘offer’ and as one could expect from a clever girl, she lunged at the opportunity without another thought.
Unlike a certain woman, this new girl knew what was right and wrong for her.
Himiko, that certain woman who rejected him a few months ago, hurt his ego. And for that sin alone, Shohei decided to make her life hell until she was working in the company.
That’s why after that day, he began pushing extra work on her. He started slowly, giving her some extra work without any compensation given she must have the quality to efficiently deal with the task within working hours.
But Shohei knew it was impossible to finish those assignments within a limited time.
Himiko was forced to work overtime, and in exchange, she never received any bonus. Rather, because she seldom arrived late and left the office for personal reasons, her salary often got deducted, and Shohei received the opportunity to lash out at her.
But it was not enough. That much was not enough to break that woman so he began to throw the work of others at her and threatened other employees to not help her.
The poor woman accepted everything because she lacked any formal degree and as such, it was nearly impossible for her to get a permanent job anywhere else.
He tormented her in every way possible and finally was going to land the biggest blow by threatening her in the name of the high command; saying that they are trimming out those who have a bad record in the company.
Hearing that, she would understand that to survive in the company she has to submit before him. And then…he will finally conquer that tempting body of hers…
…or so what he thought. However, today, the first mail he read was from her, stating that she is resigning and has paid the two months pending salary as compensation for the breach of contract.
Shohei read the mail more than twice before he called one of the office employees, only to hear that someone had come and collected all of Himiko’s stuff from her table and informed them that she wouldn’t be coming here anymore.
Shohei nearly broke his phone in frustration. Finally, when he thought he would get to break her pride…she somehow found herself another source of income and changed jobs.
It annoyed him to the core.
*BZZZ*
With a frown, he took out his phone, with the intention to reject the call instantly…only to pause upon seeing the name on it.
Heaving a sigh, he picked up the call,
“Good morning, Shirakawa-san.”

[Ryuuske’s POV:]
I had to shift my plans to beat up that scumbag a little earlier.
Yuna called me early in the morning, saying that her father had asked me to come home.
Her parents now know that we are dating, thanks to that video which went viral.
Well, although it wasn’t the most ideal way of telling them about our relationship, it’s not like I was regretting anything about it.
If anything scared me then it was her Dad’s principles. He always disliked those who resorted to violence rather than taking legal action. And since he saw my video beating Sato, he must have had a bad impression of me.
Not good. I need to assure him that I will be a non-violent person…
…from tomorrow.
Today, I will break a bastard down, piece by piece.

Mom was doing fine, but just in case, I asked for the elderly couple from the neighbourhood to be at my place for the time being.
I went to the place where I called the other three. I thought maybe since I changed the timing one of them might not come. After all, they also have a life.
However, I was wrong.
The first person to arrive near the station was Saito, the guy whom I met by chance in an arcade.
“Yo, man. You are unusually early.” With his hands tucked in his pocket, he asked.
His question stems from the fact that I usually arrive late whenever we plan to hang out, and often, I don’t even come.
I shrugged, “I mean, I called you all here; I had to be the first one to arrive.”
“Heh~you look pretty intense for this. Tell me, did this guy snatch one of your girls or something?”
I chuckled, “Do you think I would have called you to beat some high-schooler?”
Saito tilted his head unsurely.
Soon Hiroshi and Takumi also arrived and I told them, “I know you all came here because of our friendship but there is a risk in this-”
“Che, don’t say such boring stuff, man. I came here to vent some frustration. So just get on with it.” Takumi interrupted while scratching his ear.
Soon, Hiroshi followed, “Don’t worry, Ryuu. We know there is risk and all, but we still are in this with you.”
For some known reason, I felt quite emotional being surrounded by these people again. Unlike those ‘friends’ I made in school, these are my true buddies.
With a nod, I said, “Thanks, man. After this, the bill will be on me.”
“Yeeep~now that’s some motivation you gave me there,” Saito grinned and we all left to ‘meet’ him.
Tanaka Shohei.
