Yandere and Menhera - Suddenly Having a Yandere Older Stepsister and a Menhera Younger Stepsister Makes Every Day Difficult - Chapter 1 - 19/20
As I rub my sleepy eyes and rise the next morning, I feel a slight weight on my body.” Upon a sudden glance to my side, there was Ririka-chan, sleeping soundly while clinging to my body and breathing quietly.
I did a double-take and then ended up yelling out loud.
“What?!”
“Mmm…”
“Ri, Ririka-chan?!”
As I tried to wake Ririka-chan by shaking her, alerted by my loud voice from before, Matsuri-neesan came running to my room, her footsteps in a fluster.
“What’s wrong?!”
“Ma-Matsuri-neesan…”
“Is that Ririka lying next to you?”
“Yes. It seems she sneaked in after I fell asleep.”
Matsuri-neesan was emitting an overwhelmingly intense aura of murderous intent. Terrified, I shook Ririka-chan even harder than before in my rush to wake her up.
“What’s going on?”
“Ririka-chan!”
“Ah, Onii-chan, good morning.”
Seemingly still half asleep, Ririka-chan aggressively moved in to kiss my cheek. If I provoked Matsuri-neesan any further, I feared for my life. That’s how stern her expression was.
And then, a few seconds later, the dam broke.
“He’s my Ryusuke-kun!”
Matsuri-neesan started crying. I was just standing there, mouth agape, unable to say anything.
As for Ririka-chan, the moment Matsuri-neesan began crying, she sighed and said,
“Here we go again.”
“Ririka, you’re the one at fault!”
“Shut up. You think a childish girl like you can capture Onii-chan’s heart?”
“Stupid Ririka!”
While I found them somewhat adorable, I tried to console Matsuri-neesan by stroking her head, and she, looking pleased, moved her face closer to mine, aiming for my lips.
I instinctively backed away, and then Matsuri-neesan, crying again, said,
“I really like you, Ryusuke-kun… Hey, Ryusuke-kun…”
Glancing at Ririka-chan, I saw her sighing at Matsuri-neesan’s crying face, her cute, sleepy look from the morning wholly gone, replaced by a somewhat angry expression.
What a way to start the morning.
With these thoughts, I decided it was time for a long-overdue run, grabbing my entire jogging outfit and sequestering myself in the bathroom.
Though I had sequestered myself in the bathroom, Matsuri-neesan and Ririka-chan were banging on the door, saying,
“Hey, come out!” from Matsuri-neesan.
“Onii-chan, why are you going to the bathroom?” from Ririka-chan.
Changing into my jogging clothes, I knew the moment I stepped out of the bathroom would be crucial. I burst through the door, making sure not to get caught by either of them.
“Ryusuke-kun!”
Matsuri-neesan cried out as if we were parting forever. Doubting if this is really how a woman about to enter college should act, I started my run.

Due to it being Saturday, the day became quite hectic for me, and I wasn’t able to keep my promise to Yuka-san. Wondering if I would see her today, I headed to our usual spot with a nervous excitement. There, Yuka-san was waiting.
“Yu-Yuka-san!”
“Oh!”
“I’m sorry.”
“You finally came. Thank you.”
“No, I’m the one who should apologize. I promised.”
“It’s okay. I’ve been waiting for you all this time.”
Yuka-san was incredibly kind to me, even though I had broken our promise. I was just so happy I could fall for her.
“Shall we go then?”
“Yes!”
As we jogged at a pace that didn’t tire us out too much along our usual route, we attracted curious looks from elderly men and women out for their morning walks.
Hoping we looked like a couple, I listened in to their conversations, only to hear an elderly man exclaim loudly,
“Such a close-knit brother and sister!”
Disappointed that I appeared so childish, Yuka-san, seeing my dismay, whispered in my ear.
“It’s okay. You’re plenty adult.”
“Wh, what?!”
Embarrassed by my all-too-virginal reaction, and intoxicated by Yuka-san’s soft fragrance, I found myself running out of energy faster than usual and suggested we rest at a nearby park bench.
“Good job.”
“Yuka-san, good job to you too!”
“Are you okay?”
“Ah, yes. Just a lot has been happening recently.”
“I’ve been going through some changes of heart myself.”
“Someone you like?”
“Hey! You can’t just ask that so easily.”
Yuka-san smiled as she playfully rubbed my cheek. I found her both adorable and beautiful.
Just as our conversation was getting lively, Suddenly, from somewhere, an incredibly sharp murderous intent struck my back. A chill ran down my spine, and as I began to sweat, Yuka-san pointed behind me and said,
“And who might you be?”
“I’m Ryusuke’s girlfriend, Matsuri.”
“Is that so…”
Yuka-san looked at me.
“Is she really your girlfriend?”
“No, she’s my older step-sister!”
“Oh. Such a beautiful sister, huh?”
“Ahaha.”
Yuka-san gave me a wink, then turned to Matsuri-neesan with a sharp look in her eyes as if picking a fight.
“We’re just out for a run. What do you need with him?”
“I thought maybe you were trying to trap Ryusuke-kun, so I came to rescue him.”
“Oh my. To think that I appear that way to someone as unintelligent as yourself.”
“Ara Ara. Yuka-san, was it? If you’re looking to pick a fight, I’m more than willing. Ohoho.”
“…”
“…”
A standoff filled with mutual glares of mystery ensued, I tried to sneak away between them, only to be grabbed by the scruff of my neck.
“Where do you think you’re going?”
Matsuri-neesan voice was cold and sharp, and Yuka-san’s grip was firm. All I wanted was to escape.
The conflict would not be resolved for another several minutes.
