With great powers, comes a great harem! - Chapter 70- First class~1!
It has been some days since that incident when Yuki nearly died and then revived himself.
This incident was still only known by certain individuals, including Kazuya, Yuki, and Maya. As Yuki instructed, Maya didn’t disclose the news to either his Nee-san or Shio; even though, both of them suspected something to be wrong.
Amaye has begun working as a barista in the school cafeteria, and from how Yuki and Maya perceived it, it seemed she really was enjoying her job. She also shifted her belongings to her new room, which was quite spacious for one person—making Yuki ponder whether it was the regular way of treating Tower staff or Kazuya pulled some strings as compensation for what occurred back in November.
(A/n: The infirmary incident.)
Regardless, Amaye was quite happy about her new job and working atmosphere.

“Alright, I will be back in a few hours.” It was around four in the afternoon when Yuki took his bag and terminal before hugging both Shio and Maya turn by turn and gave them a peck on lips, before departing.
“Bye~” Shio wore a toothy grin as she bid farewell to her lover.
“*wave* *wave*” Maya only waved her hand because, in her current state, her words become limited and her body only moved based on her instincts.
…she really wasn’t immune to her Lord’s affection, after all.
Once Yuki disappeared from the sight, Shio turned toward Maya before she asked,
“Maya-san, let’s go inside. There’s something important, we need to discuss.”
Hearing the severe voice of the girl—which was in contrast to her previous tone—Maya was slightly taken aback. Nevertheless, she nodded before the duo walked inside the cabin and sat around the tea table.
Shio served tea for both of them and placed some cookies on the plate, while Maya intently waited to listen to the matter of the other one’s concern.
Finally, after pouring tea and taking a bite of the chocolate chip cookie, Shio spoke up, “Have you thought about Yuki-kun’s birthday? Gift aside, what are we going to do for him on that day?”
Under normal circumstances, one would have become agitated to hear Shio’s concern revolving around celebration when she was so serious before. However, for Maya, this matter only made her frown deeper.
However, soon Maya shelved all her thoughts and informed something unpleasant, “Yuki-sama would be in the annual meeting hosted by the Kurokawa clan on that day ”
Christmas, Yuki’s birthday, and the annual meeting of every prominent clan in Japan fall on the same day. And considering how important this meeting would be for Yuki, there was no chance for Maya or Shio to ask him to not go.
However, it wasn’t like Shio was unaware of these facts, as she stated, “I know, but he would leave for the celebration early in the morning. We still would get the whole night of the twenty-fourth and until seven in the morning of the twenty-fifth.” The way Shio was moving her brows up and down, made Maya a little cautious.
“What…exactly what do you have in mind?” Initially, Maya was thinking of gifting her lord some ancient tombs and high-ranking armor for his birthday, given his interest in the hunting business.
However, Shio had different plans~

The place Yuki departed for, was the administrator’s office, located in the main building.
The purpose of his visit was obvious—the promised tutoring of mental interference magic.
The person from whom Yuki would be getting taught was a specialist in this field. The fact that Kazuya knows about the aggressor who attacked Yuki, would make things easier for Kazuya. After all, when you know the opponent’s strength, it becomes easier to prepare countermeasures.
Once Yuki reached the destination, he knocked twice on the door, before a voice arrived from the other side,
“Come in.”
Turning the knob, Yuki just placed a single foot inside the room, before a nauseating wave crashed against him, making his mind numb for a moment. Instantly, his mental barriers came into play, and resisted the coercive force which was trying to enter his mind.
Yuki clutched the door handle tightly as he consciously began to construct more layers of barriers to fortify his mental space. A particular spot of his brain, which contains memories was the focus of his protection.
“You are quite secretive about your memories.” Hearing the voice of Kazuya, Yuki turned to look at the man, as he felt the pressure from his mind disappearing slowly.
“Quite a way of greeting.”Yuki sarcastically commented.
“Well, you aren’t here for chit-chats, are you?” Yuki sighed before shaking his head.
Kazuya asked his students to take a seat on the sofa before he went to prepare tea in the boiler; placed on the cabinet behind his main desk.
Yuki gazed around the office room and noticed that just like the office room of his homeroom teacher, this one was also quite simple. White wall, cream shade curtains, and simple flower decoration on the cupboard and the desk.
“Your awareness toward mental attacks is quite impressive. I certainly thought that on the first day, you would fall against the surprise attack.” As Kazuya approached with a tray, he commented.
“It’s just, I always have barriers around me, that detect any malice and activate without any chanting.” It wasn’t like Kazuya hadn’t already figured out that much, which brought no hesitation from Yuki’s side before disclosing the information.
“Hmm, certainly a remarkable skill.” As the blue-haired individual placed the tray on the table, he sat opposite Yuki before taking the cup and savoring a sip.
“Ah, perfect.”
Yuki also hooked the cup handle to his finger as he heard the man continuing, “Yuki, while I commend your skill efficiency, and resistance force, I am highly disappointed by your narrow-mindedness.”
Yuki nearly burnt his tongue because the way his tone shifted from admiring to disdainful, was plainly startling.
Kazuya didn’t pay heed to his reaction before speaking his mind, “You were so focused on shielding your memories, that the rest of your mind became an open field for me to explore. And do you know what would happen if I overtook even a fragment of your mindscape?”
Yuki gulped in slight nervousness, as he heard the man finishing,
“You will get enslaved.”
