“I am spent… ” With a long tired sigh, I walked toward the building where students’ dorms are situated. Although I say building, from the outside it actually seemed like a huge dome.

Seriously the PE period was more strenuous than I initially thought. Though my stamina has increased, I could not compare myself to those elite students who have been training themselves for who knows how long to be part of this Tower.

At the end of the day, I came last in the race, did the least pushups and core exercises, and was granted the label of ‘Needs improvements’ in my report.

I was told along with a boy and a girl to report early in the morning so I could have extra time with my body. They would train us so we don’t lag behind our class in the physical aspect as well.

And since the reassessment would ask a student to be in their best shape, it was important to train extra hard since I got only two months before the evaluation takes place.

Now that I am here, I came to understand how much Maya has gained a reputation in the meantime after we separated.

The second-ranked student here, Anna Willson doesn’t come anywhere near to what Maya possesses. Maya has already reached the threshold of A-rank. Her marks in written exams were extraordinary to the point where many professors came to enquire about her intelligence. She answered everything they threw at her. She was unstoppable. And also, in the weapon assessment, she was second to only me signifying how an all-round talented individual she is.

I knew since the time I met her that Maya would become a great warrior in the future but she seriously has surpassed my expectation.

‘Though…why do I feel happy from this… ‘

Loss at any reasonable answers, I made my way toward the third row of the first floor.

The entire freshman was given dorms on the first floor. There were no shared rooms but a private wooden cabin. The surrounding was like staying in a jungle with grass and moss all around and a small path in between. There were many huge trees that could be seen afar in the dome, signifying the usage of brilliant space magic.

The scenery was peaceful as I followed my map on the terminal to find my room. It didn’t take time before I stood before a normal cabin just like everyone else’s before I used my terminal to open the door…only to get shocked…

Only for a fraction of a second, my eyes stared at her caramel ones before a loud yell reverberated.

“PE-PERVERTTTTTT!!”

The experience of seeing a girl almost naked in the room which supposedly belonged to me was shocking enough to make my mind numb, and because of that I never saw that huge flame ball the girl released at me.

I wasn’t able to dodge it.

“Akh!! ”

I groaned as the heat pushed me out of the porch and threw me several feet away with my face turned dark and my clothes burnt. She’s at least a B-rank that I got assured about since the burn was quite damaging.

It took a lot from me to not fall unconscious as I used my Absolute Healing on myself.

However, in the meantime in just half a minute, when my senses stabilized, there was already a group of first-years standing around. Some of them were whispering to themselves how I was a massive pervert and some of them were just shaking their head in disappointment.

‘Oh…so I was framed… ‘ Since no one was questioning the girl that meant that I was trapped in this situation.

I should have known that this is no manga where I would play it cool to the girl and she wouldn’t shout. It’s very much real and this was the very much expected reaction from that girl.

“Student, Yuki. Come with us. ” Two of the professors whom I do not recognize arrived at the scene and asked me to follow them.

The stern look in their eyes didn’t mind my condition since from their perspective I must be nothing more than a closet degenerate who likes to sneak on naked girls.

I was not upset by others but rather disappointed in myself for not being more observant. But now, there’s nothing I could do in this scenario rather than follow the command.

For a brief moment when I was getting up, I turned my gaze toward Maya…and as I expected, she was looking down at me.

‘Haha…what a way to start my school life… ‘

[Maya’s POV: ]

‘Someone has tricked Yuki-sama… ‘ I trust my beloved enough to not even entertain the possibility of him sneaking into some other girl’s room.

Though it was disheartening that he looked at someone else’s skin when he could have asked me, it doesn’t mean I would suspect him even a bit.

If not for the mole planted by my family in the school I would have defended him even in front of the crowd as well. But alas, I always get obstructed by my clan and responsibilities.

‘But who can do this… ‘Either it was someone who is targeting Yuki-sama because of his background or it’s someone from those idiots who have taken an oath to pursue someone who could never belong to anyone else other than her beloved.

Not only from the same year but from upper classes as well, I have received more than half a dozen proposals. The thought of slowly draining their blood and ripping their body parts while keeping their consciousness awake was very much enticing but I couldn’t take any rash decisions here.

Since Yuki-sama has admitted just today, the upperclassmen could not have got the air of it just now. This means that this is someone from freshman year.

And I am very much certain who this individual could be…

‘How can I inform Yuki-sama about this….he won’t come into my room would he?’

This room of mine is the only place where I could be myself so to inform Yuki-sama who this bastard could be on his back, I need to invite him to my room.

But it was too risky… many eyes are monitoring the students out of their dorms. In the first place, Yuki-sama would never enter my room even if I beg him to. He hates me to the bone.

In the end, I settled for a letter.

Of course, it wasn’t a love letter but just the thought of writing to Yuki-sama was making me shiver in excitement.

‘I will add some essence of mine to the letter…hehe~
