Chapter 3 – I Aim for a Stress-Free Life

By the way, my brother has the [Extreme Flame] skill, and the skill’s effect is an incredible ability to increase the power of fire-based magic by 50%.

According to my knowledge of the game, [Flame Emperor] is at the top of the fire-based skills with the highest ability increase value.

The skill [Flame Emperor] doubles the power of fire magic, but it is a skill that cannot be acquired without knowledge of the game, and only higher races, such as dragons, are born with it.

In other words, my brother possesses the skill with the highest fire attribute among humans.

That’s why people praise him for being a child prodigy.

On the other hand, I, in contrast, would prefer to have a trash skill if possible.

This might sound strange, but based on my brother and parents’ conversations, it seems that, just like in the game, you can have up to five skills and remove any that you find unnecessary. 

At least, that’s the case if it follows the game rules.

Anyway, I’m determined that the more mediocre my skills are, the less likely I’ll stand out next to my brother’s brilliant skill.

When I was feeling anxious, my parents thought that I was probably nervous about tomorrow’s skill ceremony, so they went out of their way to comfort me and pat me on the head.

They are good parents.
