“To choose the perfect present, I must understand Kana’s preferences to some extent!”

As we walk along the street, Minase suddenly raises his fist high in the air with enthusiasm.

From what I read online, gifts generally fall into two main categories:

Either you give something the recipient likes or something you personally like.

For instance, if the recipient is a fan of a particular idol, giving them merchandise related to that idol would surely make them happy.

On the other hand, if you give them something you personally like—say, a CD of your favorite artist—they might show interest because it’s something important to you.

Since I’m not particularly confident in my taste, I’d prefer to give Kana something she likes.

Minase suddenly starts acting out a dramatic scene, then stomps her feet in frustration.

After teasing me endlessly, she suddenly gets jealous.
