When I Brought The Lost Little Girl To Her House, The One Who Came Out Of The Front Door Was The Most Beautiful Girl In The Grade. - Chapter 7
“Summer’s here! Let’s hit the beach!”
Mimura shouted excitedly. Well, it had been a long time since I came to the sea too.
Indeed, today was a day at the beach for three guys; the other one is Souta.
“Mimura, you’re so loud… My eardrums are going to suffer.”
“Come on, lighten up! Even Souta, who seemed so reluctant, brought his swimwear and seemed eager to play.”
“…You’re so noisy.”
This guy, Yakumo Souta, is small but a bit tsundere, and the only one among us with a girlfriend. I think Souta’s girlfriend is in the same class as Shirakawa.
“Well, since we came all this way, let’s enjoy ourselves for now.”
Despite being at the beach, I was exasperated with the two of them bickering since earlier.
“Alright, so for now…”
“We should start with some pick-up lines!”
“What?!”
Unintentionally, Souta and I let out our voices.
Admittedly, when coming to the beach, you might consider trying some pick-up lines, but we are high school students, and we came here just to have some fun.
“What are you talking about, Mimura?”
“I mean, pick-up lines! Pi-ck-u-p li-nes!”
“I heard you, but if you’re going to do it, do it alone.”
“Yeah, and besides, I already have a girlfriend.”
“Don’t say such sad things… “My cute, cute heart-kun” will cry, you know?”
To be honest, I thought, “Just go ahead and cry on your own.” Also, his face is a bit annoying, so I want him to stop.
“By the way! Yusei, you can do it, right!”
He suddenly aimed the question at me. I hope Souta doesn’t make me his wingman.
Souta realized that the focus had shifted to me, so he walked towards the sea first, holding a floating ring.
That guy Souta… because he knows he won’t be invited anymore…
“Hey! Are you listening~?”
“Alright, I got it! Stop being so persistent. I’ll go with you, but you better treat me to something later…”
“Alright! Let’s go right away!”
“No, before that, let’s play in the sea or something. That’s also a condition.”
At first, I felt like I wanted to go right away, but when conditions were set, Mimura easily agreed.
To be honest, I didn’t really want to do the whole pick-up lines thing; it seemed like it would be a hassle. But Mimura was so persistent, I had no choice.
Leaving footprints on the hot sandy beach, we entered the cold yet beautiful sea.
“Hey! It’s salty! So salty!”
“I’m not really good with this.”
“Yeah, the feeling of the sand squishing under my feet is kind of gross…”
That’s how each of us expressed our first impressions after getting into the sea.
After that, we enjoyed some typical summer treats like rented beach balls, shaved ice, hot dogs, and yakisoba.
