The time when I forcibly slept with my friend's sister! - Chapter 70- Broken
Yui was emotionally broken.
Sitting in the corner of her bed, she was reading all the texts she had shared with her Senpai.
All those sweet memories she shared with him somehow provided her with a moment of relief and happiness. However, once she reaches down and arrives at the point where her texts begin to become one-sided, her heart starts to ache.
It felt her body was entirely numb and her heart was beating a lot slower than it usually does. Her mind couldn’t comprehend anything else than the fact that she had lost her Senpai.
Yes, she has lost him.
Yui tried her best. She did whatever she could to garner his attention. She wanted him to vent on her, shout at her, or even physically abuse her to release all his frustration. However, she was expecting a lot.
Her Senpai wasn’t the kind of person who would shout at someone else. Even though Yui has hurt him a lot, he never raised his voice or showed any disgust. All he asked, upon a lot of persistence from Yui’s side, was to keep some distance for the time being.
Yui loves her Senpai a lot…possibly, more than herself or anyone in her life. If he asks her to jump off a bridge for him she would do so. If he asks her to kill someone for his sake, she would do it without hesitation. However, what she couldn’t bear to face was the look of anguish in his eyes.
The way he was avoiding her was too much for her. It felt like her heart was about to burst and her body would collapse right there. Yui didn’t know how many times she just stood there while gazing at her Senpai from the shadows since if he had seen her looking at him, he would have changed his location.
She was getting emotionally weak day by day and losing hope of ever regaining his affection for her.
Even though she promised him that she would make him fall for her again by not hiding her affection…Yui just couldn’t carry on any longer. It felt as if he ignored her anymore or looked at her with those eyes that told how Yui had betrayed him…Yui might die.
*PAH*
Falling toward her left, Yui lay down on the bed as a single drop of tear slid down the side of her eye. Her eyes never blinked as she stared at her phone screen which had the picture of herself and her Senpai as the wallpaper.
“…is there nothing I can do to make you love me again, Senpai?” Her hoarse voice seeped through her lips as she asked the very picture of the person, she desired the most to see.
“…am I that bad, Senpai? Can’t you forgive me once?” A helpless smile extended her lips weakly as she asked him, even though she knew he wasn’t listening.
“Yui is sorry, Senpai…please talk to me once…I promise…never I will do…never…I-I…will…” Tears began to well up her eyes as the screen darkened and so did her vision.
Because of the lack of appetite, she has been eating very little lately. And because of all the weeping, she didn’t know when her consciousness began to slip away.
Just as she was about to black out, some words unconsciously left her lips,
“Riku…I…love…”
….
..
.
“Yui.”
Yui’s eyes snapped open as she heard her name. However, it wasn’t because she was being called out that she woke up even from her slumber. It was rather the voice that made her startled.
Yui instantly straightened her back and looked at the person standing in front of her.
Since the room was still darkened she couldn’t see his face clearly, however, this scent and this presence clearly belonged to her Senpai.
“S-Senpai…?” Yui timidly raised her hand to touch the person; discerning whether she was dreaming again.
However, “Ah…” Before her hand could reach the person, he extended his hand and held her arm.
“Yui….I am here.” Inching closer, Yui was engulfed in a warmth she could never be mistaken for.
It was her Senpai! It was him!!
“Senpai! It’s you! I am not dreaming! It’s you!” Yui instantly held his shirt and clung back to him as tightly as she could.
However, due to the lack of nutrition, her hands trembled at just a little too exertion of strength. But the girl never backed down and did her best to hold him.
She didn’t want to lose him. Feared, that this still was an illusion and that her Senpai would fade as soon as she let go.
Riku’s heart ached to see Yui’s attempt to hold him down as he didn’t resist much and knelt on the ground before drawing her closer to him. He could feel her heart beating faster than before and her small murmuring never went unheard.
‘Yui…what have I done to you…’ Riku felt tears welling up in his eyes as well as he tried soothing her.
He was the reason why she was crying, even though he promised to keep her happy.
Ichinose wasn’t wrong. Riku indeed was an indecisive fool who was so occupied with his depressing thoughts that he never looked at how much pain and suffering he was inflicting on the girl whom he wished to always make happy.
“Yui…I am here. Please stop crying. It hurts me seeing you like this.”
Hearing his words, Yui flinched before he could feel her instantly wiping her eyes and muttering under her breath,
“Can’t hurt Senpai…can’t hurt Senpai…”
Yui was like this ever since he had held her. All her emotions and shock threw her consciousness into haywire.
“Yui, please calm down…I beg you please listen to me…” How much Riku tried, Yui wasn’t listening to him at all.
Lost in options, Riku separated himself from the girl, and looked deeply into her eyes for a moment before planting his lips forcibly onto hers.
Like a literal current, her body shivered as Yui felt her Senpai’s lips on hers.
Her muttering halted as she tasted the salty taste of his tears on his lips.
At that moment, she knew her Senpai was here. He was here and currently was kissing her…embracing her. He wasn’t disgusted with her nor was he ignoring her.
Her Senpai was…right here.

A/N:- Umm…I got a little emotional writing this, tbh. She is lost without him, and Riku now has seen it.
