The time when I forcibly slept with my friend's sister!

It has been eighteen days. Eighteen days since that night, when Riku allowed his dormant side to lead him and partake in something his rational mind couldn’t even think of.

Whether because alcohol corrupted his mind or that side of his, that still didn’t see Yui as his true sister, it was an undeniable fact that Riku that night, forced himself on his friend’s little sister.

People may think that it wasn’t a big deal, since Yui had no objection against it. She was ready to accept his apology and even suggested a new start, but from a new end.

And Riku even agreed to it, since he wanted nothing but Yui’s happiness. After all, from his perception, he had defiled her purity and did something unthinkable with her.

For these two and a half weeks, not even a single day went by when Riku didn’t regret his actions or didn’t blame himself. Even though Yui seemed fine with what they had between them now, Riku was still guilty of that single incident, that never should have happened.

It was true that he wasn’t dating Yui out of guilt or anything…but still, that heavy feeling never left him.

With those thoughts, Riku was continuing his life, hoping that one day, he would let go of these heavy emotions and embrace Yui as his partner, entirely.

…however, all of a sudden, Riku got to know something that changed his whole perspective about this situation.

That night, he didn’t voluntarily force himself on Yui…rather…she trapped him?

Recently, when he asked Ichinose why he shifted his room with Yui, he said that the girl wanted to have that room for no specific reason.

Now thinking closely, it seems it was no coincidence that just a day ago, when Ichinose invited Riku for his birthday, Yui also changed her room and didn’t say anything about it to Riku.

The way, such a wonderful girl like Yui, accepted his crime and even suggested dating and all…Riku should have suspected it right there and then. However, he was so blinded by her kindness that he never reflected on the matter.

‘Yui…you..liked me since earlier…then why didn’t you….’ Riku didn’t know what he was experiencing at the moment.

He has mixed emotions swirling inside his head.

All of a sudden, he got to know that the person he deemed as his sister actually loved him as a man and to gain his attention and date him, she arranged things that led Riku into self-denial.

It may sound simple to many, but it wasn’t for him!

‘I need to sort my thoughts…’

Just as Riku was about to take a cold shower and think more calmly about this situation, he heard several knocks on his door.

Opening, he found his mother there, extending her phone in his direction,

“It’s Ichi…he wants to talk to you.” Riku’s expression turned a little complicated but he accepted the phone and told her he would return it once he was done.

“Hel-”

[Hello, Senpai?!]

Rather than the person Riku was expecting, the person he wanted to talk the least at the moment, answered the call.

Riku didn’t know what to say to her. And with this complex thought process, he might end up saying something that may hurt her, so he decided to disconnect the call wordlessly…

[Senpai! Please don’t hang up!! Please, I beg you! Talk to me! Just for a minute! Please!!]

The sound of her desperate pleading blended with her sobs, made his finger freeze just inches apart from the red icon.

Riku’s heart ached to hear that voice. Just some hours ago, he became the reason for her smile…and now,

“I am not hanging, so don’t cry anymore…and listen to me carefully.”

Riku didn’t know what reaction Yui had on the other side, but she instantly breathed in and without any word, waited for him to continue,

“It’s a fact that I am quite upset at the moment, Yui…and I might need some time to recover, but please don’t cancel the meeting tomorrow. Our feelings aside, I don’t want to disappoint your parents, you got that?”

There was a long pause from the other end before a simple, ‘Mm’ arrived.

Riku breathed a sigh of relief before he added,

“Now go to sleep and don’t stress over this matter anymore. And don’t even think about coming over at this hour…or I might never meet you again.”

[Senpai, but-]

“Did I allow you to say anything?”

Hearing his firm voice, she didn’t say anything further.

Riku didn’t like bossing around like this, however, at his current mental state, this was the best he could do.

With a heavy breath, Riku continued, “I need some time Yui, and I hope you will respect my wish. I don’t hate you, nor would I leave you…I am just…hurt. And a wound needs some time to recover, so please have patience and sleep early. See you tomorrow.”

*Tak*

With that, he disconnected the call.

He really needed to have a cold shower.

On the other side of the call, Yui was currently comforted by her brother.

Her tears weren’t stopping at all, even though Ichinose was trying his best to calm her down.

“Yui…he did say that he would not miss tomorrow’s meeting…you know what that means?”

Even though Yui didn’t react, Ichinose knew she was listening so he continued,

“It meant that he was not looking to break up with you. He wants to maintain the relationship you two have formed and not come out as a temporary lover in front of our parents. He wants to show that you and Riku hold a strong bond.”

Yui lifted her face from her knees with her runny nose and tears streaming down, which Ichinose wiped using his shirt sleeve, as he heard her asking,

“Th-then…w-why did *sniff* he asked for s-s-some space?”

Ichinose wasn’t an expert in these things, but at least he knew his friend enough to answer confidently,

“Even he asked…are you sure you are going to leave your Senpai alone?”

Hearing his query made Yui blink in confusion…only to realize what her brother meant.

Ichinose grinned at her, before patting the girl and motivating her,

“Just don’t let him be any more alone, Yui. He has already faced a lot of things…and now, he has you to share his burdens. So just stop crying now and think how can you ask for his forgiveness.”

“Mm.”
