How I, a Completely Ordinary Guy with No Special Traits, Risked My Life to Save Beautiful Twin Sisters, Only to Make Both of Them, Who Turned Out to Be Yandere, Fall Madly in Love with Me (REMAKE)

I found this one boring and quite tasteless. Seeing the score (4.8*) I expected way more, or maybe because I went with expectations, I got let down hard. Let me explain.

The worst thing is, without a doubt, the MC. It’s one of the worst written MC I have ever seen. He’s bland, hopelessly dense (way too much, even for the norm, it seems like a joke) and completely underwhelming in everything he does and thinks… I found nothing that could save him other than saving the girls in chap 2-3.

On the other hand, the girls are good, not incredible, just good, they have their Yanderish moments (too few for the 126 chapters…) and act cute, but at the same time, they get way too much fun by just bulling the MC.

To end my rant, the writing is lacking (but that’s something we expect to some degree and can live with, not the problem), but what tickles me off is the fact that the story is 126 chapters long when it could have been 30 or less, it starts, then it has 100 chapters of the girls just conditioning the MC that feels like every chapter is just filling romcom moments with a dense MC, and then it ends with a confession in like 3-5 chapters. We didn’t even get anything after the confession. Not affection, not even kisses, it just ends with “our lives didn’t change much”…

So yeah, maybe I’m being too rash, but I was really near to dropping the novel twice while reading it. I would very much like to talk with somebody that liked this novel and have a conversation about why they think so.
