Yui’s life couldn’t have been any more perfect than this. She recently confessed to her Senpai, got on a date with him, heard about his true feelings for her as well, and partially got her father’s blessing as well.

Her life was finally heading in the ideal direction, she always desired.

“Someone looks really happy.” Hearing her Senpai’s teasing tone, Yui offered him a beaming smile as they walked down the street with their hands clasped.

“I mean…the time I spend with Senpai is always the best moment of my life.” She was truthful, without the fear of coming out as a weirdo.

Yui couldn’t remember for how long she had been restraining herself from saying what was on her mind and always remained courteous toward her Senpai. However, now she can be honest with her desires and her Senpai never gets creeped out.

“That so…” Rather, her Senpai now offered her some rare adorable reactions whenever she expressed her thoughts.

The serene breeze of the spring brushed past her face, making her hair cover her eyes. Before Yui could use her free hand to arrange them, the warm hand of her Senpai gently tucked her hair behind her ear before his whisper reached her,

“You are growing them?”

Yui blushed slightly being caught off guard before she timidly nodded.

“I mean…Senpai seems to like long hair, so…” Yui would never confess how she got to know about his preference but she could change herself to his liking so Yui would always be her Senpai’s favorite.

In response, Riku remained silent for a bit before he asked, “So tell me, what do I need to change to be the best version for you?”

Yui blinked in surprise before turning her gaze in his direction and immediately declining such a suggestion, “Senpai doesn’t need to change anything…I love how Senpai is and would always like whatever changes naturally come in.”

“And you think, you are the only one with that thought, Yui-chan?”

Another blink of confusion urged him to continue, “It’s not just you, who like me for the person I am but it’s the same the other way around as well. So please, don’t change anything for my sake since my feelings don’t rely on your appearance, Yui.”

Riku was new to…all these. He didn’t know what could make a girl insecure and what they don’t like to hear. Maybe his statement might make her feel sad about all the hard work she has put into her hair, but Riku wanted her to know his true feelings.

He loves everything about her and whatever changes she may bring, he would gladly accept it. But that doesn’t mean she needs to go out of her way to change herself to be liked by him more. After all, Riku didn’t know if he could adore this girl more than he already does.

It took only ten minutes to reach the nearest library where Yui could have found the rest of her material to prepare the assignment. She has already received the objective and all the documents that could help write the homework, so the work seemed doable within a day or maybe two.

And with her Senpai helping…she may not be able to finish at all.

‘Why is he so cool?’ In front of her eyes was her Senpai, who was currently reading a book across her with head resting on his fist, further down his elbow settled on the table. Since his shirt sleeves were folded, his veins were in clear display which provided him a manly charm. The strands of his hair were falling down the side of his face, complimenting his serious look.

Even though he was doing nothing internationally, Yui found herself getting seduced by her Senpai.

‘Shoot!’ Yui completely forgot that her flash was on, which made Riku aware that his picture was getting captured before he turned his eyes toward the preparator.

“Yui? You haven’t started?” Riku frowned as he saw her books still closed and her hand clutching her phone.

“Ahh…yes, I was just…ahaha.” She rubbed the back of her head in embarrassment.

Great! She has successfully made things awkward by being greedy!

Riku sighed at the display before he got up from his seat and walked around the table to sit beside her.

Yui kept her head hung low in embarrassment as she noticed her Senpai taking her notebooks.

“Let me help you write the outline and collect the material first. After all, I wouldn’t like Yui to fail her exams because of me.”

Yui’s eyes lit up hearing that. Not because her marks or ranking could get saved, but rather because her Senpai was alright with her behavior. She can now take more pictures of him!

…right?

Because of her dilemma, Yui never noticed that her Senpai took her notebook first and opened it from the back…

“What the…” Riku couldn’t believe his eyes as he gazed at the scribbling on the last page of her notebook.

Yui’s eyes widened in shock as she realized her mistake…but it was too late.

In front of his eyes, was a completely dark page. However, it wasn’t colored rather the amount of scribble was making it impossible to find a single white space with more than half a millimeter gap.

Everyone scribbles on their last page so why their reaction was so dramatic? Well, of course seeing a single name written again and again would make anyone startle.

Every single one of those letters described a single name,

Riku.

[At the same time]

Inside the cafe near his school, Ichinose was working out on his assignment which he needed to submit by tomorrow yet half of the work was still not done.

Unlike his sister, he had no one to help him so he was fanatically typing on his laptop and fulfilling the word count.

It was then when suddenly someone tapped on his table, making him turn his gaze subconsciously in their direction,

“I feel like you are in dire need of help. Since I am free right now, I won’t mind helping you out.”

The one who haughtily announced her intention to approach him was none other than the famous young scientist, Kuriyama Mizuo.

“Ah, good afternoon Mizuo-san. Please, have a seat.”

Mizuo swatted her hair behind her back before she sat across him.

Just as she was about to take the notebook from him, Ichinose informed something that made the girl freeze in mid-way.

“I am going out with, Akechi-san.”
