The time when I forcibly slept with my friend's sister! - Chapter 57- Preparing?
So apparently, I was told that if I wanted Yui’s parents’ blessings, then I had to introduce myself officially in front of the two this weekend.
Truth be told, I had a different image of Raeji-san up until now. Being the owner of such a big company and the person who usually remains cold and indifferent in the outside world, I believed that he would right away reject my existence in Yui’s life.
At worst, I thought he would use different means to make me disappear or something. But well, thankfully, he wasn’t like I anticipated.
For a moment there when he stood right in front and announced that he wouldn’t give me Yui, I thought he was going to punch me. Pretty classic, Tsukasa-style type of punch. But well, that ended up well.
“It’s delicious right?” As I fed my adorable kouhai I asked in a warm tone to which she shyly nodded.
After Ichi delivered such a mood-souring news in the morning, Yui didn’t eat anything properly so I was helping her eat now. She was already too thin and now because she was taking care of me, Yui was neglecting her own health a lot.
Even her father said that she has lost some weight.
“Senpai…are you worried about the meeting this weekend?”
Her worried tone made me tilt my head as I scooped another spoonful of curry and rice and placed it near her lips.
Despite being a little shy, she accepted the food without resistance as she tucked her hair behind her small ear with her fingers.
‘That’s beautiful…Yui…’ She was doing it so subconsciously that praising her for that would have made her conscious and she might not have done it again. So I inwardly appreciated her and relayed my answer soon after,
“Am I worried? Yes. But am I unwilling? No, absolutely not.”
Scooping another one, I continued, “I promised you that I would take this relationship seriously, Yui. Gaining your parents’ permission is one of the things as a boyfriend, I need to face.”
Yui chewed on the food obediently and curry rice began to decrease in no time as I continued,
“But that doesn’t mean I am taking this as a burden. If I have lived the most beautiful moments of my life with you, then I need to take some courageous steps as well. ”
There was no fabrication nor any made-up words here, I was speaking in order to soothe her. I was just telling her the facts of how I feel toward our relationship.
Yui was my first girlfriend in all seriousness and I wanted to do everything properly. Well, what happened on Ichi’s birthday night was not something I could undo but it was also a fact that I wanted to treasure the girl.
I wanted to cherish every moment with Yui and make sure that in those moments, there was a smile on her face.
*Gulp*
Soon I noticed that the whole dish was clean. Turning my gaze toward Yui, I noticed that she was still in a daze and looking at me with admiring eyes
…seriously, sometimes I feel a little anxious when she looks at me like that…what if I don’t land on the high standards she has set?
“Senpai…so cool.” I didn’t have any words to respond to that so I ruffled her hair lightly and got up from my seat.
Yui followed me as I walked toward the kitchen to clean the dishes. Thankfully she didn’t stop me rather took the wipe towel in hand as she stood beside me.
“So…what are your parents’ likes and dislikes?”
Since I was at it, I didn’t hesitate to ask for some tips from the most suitable person.
…asking things like these from Ichinose wasn’t a good idea and considering how his school work has elevated because of his absence, I didn’t want to burden him anymore.
He currently went with his father back to his house…probably the two having a man-to-man chat or something.
“Hmm…they like punctuality and politeness. Mom is a bit picky and she usually notes many things about someone she is trying to assess. She even could note if your shoes had mud or if you didn’t have to comb your hair carefully. So yeah, that’s a bit of a challenging aspect.”
From her description, I could tell that my perception of Lady Tsukasa wasn’t too wrong. She indeed has a strict and disciplined personality.
“So I need to be at my best in front of your mom, eh? Hmm, I will keep that in my account.”
Yui had a guilty expression but I shook my head and assured her, “Don’t worry about it…and I am thankful that you told me about it. I just need to pay a little more attention to my appearance and talk only about what’s necessary.”
Yui stiffly nodded, seemingly quite reluctant to put me under the pressure but well…she did the right thing by informing me. After all, being entirely unprepared was far worse than being cautious yet prepared.

After washing the dishes I and Yui sat on the couch to relax a bit. Since the morning, the day has been chaotic so we were just catching our breath when suddenly something buzzed.
Yui took out her phone before her eyes widened.
“Oh lord…tomorrow is the last date of assignment submission.”
I frowned before asking, “The summer assignment? Isn’t it too late?”
Yui’s attention traveled from the phone toward me before she weakly spoke, “Our teacher told us that she would be absent after the holidays so we could take our time….however…”
I sighed, already aware of the whole story with that. For some reason, her teacher didn’t go on the trip seemingly where she planned to go or something else and now that the teacher had returned, she needed everyone’s homework.
After a bit of contemplation, I suggested, “Yui…let’s go to the library and finish your assignment. I will help you out.”
Yui’s dimmed eyes suddenly brightened as she asked, “Really Senpai?”
I chuckled at the response before nodding, “Yeah. Now go, and pack your stationery.”

A/N:- This would be their last date
You know why? Coz this story is nearing its end. Maybe ten more chapters and we would see a happy ending.
I feel sad and happy at the same time. Well, drop a comment~
