The time when I forcibly slept with my friend's sister!

It had been two days since that incident. Riku has been treated and is now back at home.

He was put under an hour-long physiological test to check whether he had suffered from any lasting trauma. Fortunately, there was nothing that seemed to be highly concerning to his mental health.

However, there were some cautions the doctor asked to maintain. The three people who were the closest to him—Mizuki, Yui, and Ichinose were the ones who closely listened to the doctor’s words.

“If possible, keep him away from dark places. Even at night, make sure to have some kind of illumination always in his spectrum of vision. Second, it may not have been severe until now, but please don’t point any sharp and shiny item at him. And third…”When the doctor reached this point, his brows slightly frowned which made the other three tense as well, as they listened carefully

“Don’t leave him alone for the time being…even when he is in the washroom or changing clothes, keep trying to talk to him through any means. I wish you don’t let Riku know that you are going out of your way to ensure his stability, but I know he would sooner or later come to find out about it. So make sure when that happens, Mizuki-san you are present there for him.”

Naturally, nobody tried acting differently than normal, except for the fact that Ichinose and Yui had brought their clothes and had been staying with Riku as much as they could.

On the first day, Mizuki also remained by her son’s side but the next day, she had to reluctantly report to the hospital where not one but two cases arrived at the same time, which required her immediate attention.

“Call me if anything happens and listen to what Yui-chan says, alright?” Reminding Riku what he has to do and whatnot the woman picked up her bag before she gave a nod to Yui and walked out of the room.

Riku still had a bandage around his arm but other than that, he was suffering from minor weakness which would recover through proper diet and strict medication.

“She worries a lot sometimes…”

Hearing Riku’s words, Yui shook her head before softly rebutting her Senpai, “Can you blame her, Senpai? I mean every mother would want nothing more than to remain by her child’s side at times like these.”

Hearing Yui’s words, Riku was slightly taken aback. It was not unknown to him how Yui’s mother never cared for her children other than those obligatory formalities…yet, Yui didn’t hesitate saying such words.

Maybe she doesn’t measure herself on the general scale? Riku stopped thinking about it.

“Here, say ahh~” Riku felt slightly embarrassed seeing how Yui was feeding him the sliced apple.

However, he had no option other than to part his lips and take the slice.

*Nom*

He had tried refusing the feeding ritual, only to be scolded by his mother and Yui. They have strictly forbidden him from using his arms until not very necessary.

He retaliated saying that only his left arm was injured but alas…

The only person who enjoyed the banter from the sidelines was of course Ichinose, who was having the time of his life seeing Riku getting ganged up by the two ladies.

“Is it sweet?” Seeing him nod in response brought a serene smile to her face, making Riku chomp on the apple a little hastily.

For some reason, even some small gestures of hers have started affecting him recently.

Finishing the fruit, he asked, “Ichi has gone to get your stuff, right?”

Hearing his query, Yui nodded as she brought another slice toward his lips which the patient silently accepted, “Yeah, he would be back in the evening. Do you want him to bring something for you?”

Riku slightly shook his head while chewing on the apple. Just as Yui brought another slice toward his lips, Riku took hold of her wrist, making Yui slightly startled. But before she could have told him to not strain his arm, Riku’s words made her frozen on the spot.

“I am going to tell Ichi today…about us…”

The determination he held in those raven eyes made Yui lose in them for a moment before she pulled herself together and realized how much pressure he must be feeling about this.

“You don’t need-” However before she could tell him that it was fine to take things slow, Riku interrupted her.

“There is a reason why I want to tell him as soon as I can, Yui…” Saying so, he took hold of the fork with his other hand and after throwing it back on the plate which was on the table, Riku pulled Yui in his arms, making the girl yelp in surprise.

With her small body pressed against his and their eyes never letting go of the contact, Riku finished his confession, “I don’t wanna be with you in secrecy any longer. It’s no longer just my responsibility to tell Ichi about us, rather my greed as well.”

His voice sounded so tempting and heart-throbbing, that Yui found herself entirely focused on this person whom she had ever allowed herself to love. She thought that the meter of her love already has reached the limit but when her Senpai says such things, her meters collapse and she finds herself falling for him all over again.

Inching closer to his, Yui rested her arm on his broad chest before responding feverishly.

“Whatever you decide, I will always be by your side, Senpai…”

There was a strange warmth he felt from her. A warmth, which despite being not very familiar, provided him with a sensation of comfort.

Riku felt, until she was with him, nothing could go wrong…it felt so right to hold Yui in his arm that an urge to possess her began boiling inside of him.

And in the heat of that moment, he inched closer and planted his lips on hers.

It was not their first kiss yet Riku felt his heart drumming wildly against his chest. She was so irresistibly beautiful that he couldn’t help it.

“Mm…” Yui, on the other hand, despite being astonished beyond belief, responded to the kiss and found herself melting in his arms.

For the first time in his life, Riku found himself falling for someone. He had this feeling for a while but it took some time for realization.

There was no doubt about this.

Riku was in love.
