The time when I forcibly slept with my friend's sister! - Chapter 39- The past.
Riku’s father left them when Riku was just a few months old so his mother was the person who had to take care of him all alone.
Being a mother and a doctor was not something Riku’s mom was able to handle properly. Being young and inexperienced made it nearly impossible for her to focus on both aspects of her life and since she didn’t want to neglect Riku’s growth and care, she hired a nanny for him.
Her name was Shirasaki Ayako.
She was a really sweet and caring person, someone people could believe rather easily. Riku’s mother was no different.
Riku was at the age of three when Ayako began taking care of him. He was a real troublemaker at that time…someone who could not remain in one place for long.
Ayako never showed any displeasure and patiently handled Riku as a mother does.
She stayed with him from the moment he woke up to the point when he fell asleep. Fed him food with her own hands through different means. Played with him when Riku struggled to make any friends. Fought those parents whose children bullied Riku. Helped him study and fed him something good when Riku scored good marks.
She did everything for him. From reading stories to writing homework he fails to finish due to some circumstances. Many meetings Ayako attended as Riku’s mother and visited many fun places with Riku to maintain a smile on his face.
Slowly, Riku started to forget about his real mother and began to assume Ayako was everyone.
Months passed, seasons passed, and years passed. Riku began his elementary school and continued his days happily with his Aa-chan.
His mother was able to focus on work as well. Of course, she spent time with Riku from time to time but with Ayako’s existence, she became a little lenient during the critical phase of Riku’s life.
Everything might have continued to remain the same until Riku would have grown to that age where he could have handled himself. Even after that, Riku’s mother didn’t plan on letting Ayako go. With time Ayako has become a little sister to her.
…however, everything came crashing down one day.
A fateful night when the little Riku was held hostage in his own house. The person whom he always followed and loved the most had a knife pointed at him and said cruel things to him. She was laughing at Riku’s crying face. She never did that before…why did she change?
For a whole day and night, Riku was on a knife point. Ayako needed money and for that, she chose the easiest path. Riku.
Everything was sorted out in the end and other than the deep scar that Ayako inflicted on Riku when she realized there was no escape, no evident damage was done.
Well of course only if Riku’s trauma doesn’t count, that is.

*Sigh*
Sitting in my room, I couldn’t help but feel my hands shaking while remembering that night.
I was in my room, with my phone plucked into the charger…but truth be told, I was not primarily still in my room because I wanted to talk with anyone.
I was just preparing myself. Preparing myself to face her.
Hitomi…Shirasaki. Ayako’s daughter.
I knew her name but the fact I didn’t want to remember that surname, I intentionally tried deleting her name from my mind even if she was so popular in school.
But today it suddenly struck me.
I first noticed it when I paused at the entrance to change my shoes out of habit yet Hitomi-san continued to move all normally, like just had an act of being in pain. Not to talk about her creepy stalker-like behavior to check out corners of my house.
I didn’t say anything at that time and continued behaving like I noticed nothing.
The next thing I realized when I got a little suspicious was her route. I know I might have been a little paranoid but it was strange how today, Hitomi-san appeared in the same route which I generally take to reach my home.
I have seen her once taking a taxi and once going to the other side of the school.
Again, I might be a little paranoid there as well…but after seeing the camera footage on my laptop…
‘She knows about the emergency line as well… ‘ Watching her destroy every possible source of communication I couldn’t help but realize how thorough her planning was. But it was a fact that she wasn’t aware of the cameras or she might have gone for it first or might have made her move outside my house already.
How she extracted information that I would be alone today was not something I was concerned about anymore. What I was sure about was her intention.
‘She wants revenge… ‘ I could understand her feelings since for her I had snatched her mother away from her.
But was I guilty about it? No, not at all.
I was not letting myself get hurt with that sharp knife she was carrying. Thanks to the expensive heat sensing and night vision cameras installed all around the house which Mom arranged after that incident with Ayako, I was able to see the hideous smile Hitomi-san was wearing at the moment.
‘Am I camel or something… ‘ The size of the knife was massive…it was kind of horrifying truth be told.
“Hmm, let’s call the police first…”
As I began to type the number on my phone I also started thumping my feet on the same stair to make it seem I was coming down…but who would take a risk going against a psycho?
…but at that time I didn’t know taking my eyes off the camera screen would create such a fuss.
