The time when I forcibly slept with my friend's sister! - Chapter 10- Baka!
[Riku’s POV: ]
“It was thanks to Riku-kun that now I can somehow hold a normal conversation with Ichinose-kun. ”
It was early in the morning when Miho and I were walking together as usual to the school.
The topic of our conversation was naturally, Ichinose.
She was thankful to me that because the opportunity I pushed her into where she had to interact with Ichi all by herself, helped Miho build some confidence.
“It’s nothing-”
“You are in the way.”
I instinctively shifted a little toward Miho upon hearing a cold deadpanned voice that seemed oddly familiar.
“Ah, Kuriyama-san. It’s a great morning, no? ”
The girl whom I greeted didn’t walk past me, despite it sounding like she was in a rush to go somewhere.
She was walking at a pace where she was a few steps ahead of us to appear avoiding me but I knew she had some business with me that’s why she approached in the first place.
“Riku-kun…is she the famous Kuriyama Mizuo? The youngest inventor to be awarded the International Emerging Youth for creating the text-to-voice module device and also the daughter of a famous scientist, Kuriyama Amaye? ”
As Miho said, Kuriyama-san was indeed such an aspiring person who has already achieved something in her life that many couldn’t even think of after their lifetime’s worth of labor.
The fact Miho needed to confirm things with me regarding her identity even though Kuriyama-san was also a student in the same school as us emerges from the fact that Kuriyama-san has barely attended school, and in the third year she has only appeared once even though four months have passed since the classes began.
“Yeah, it’s her. Rather I am curious whether Kuriyama-san wanted something to give me so I could forward it to her beloved?”. The last part came out a little loud than I intended.
Hearing my words, Kuriyama-san froze at a place as her feet came to an immediate halt.
Yes, she is also a victim of Ichi-virus.
Turning her emerald eyes at me with a dangerous glare which didn’t seem much threatening because of her blush, she muttered in a low tone, “Don’t you dare play with me.”
Her long raven hair was shaking slightly, signifying she didn’t like the joke that much but since we have been kind of friends or more like business partners since our first years, I didn’t feel regret teasing her.
“Alright, no playing around. Tell me what you need me for.”
I asked before she huffed as she took a black box out of her bag and walked in my direction with cautious steps.
“Tomorrow…don’t tell him it was me.” She tried handing me the box which undoubtedly was Ichinose birthday gift.
“That won’t be possible, Kuriyama-san since I am definitely going to tell Ichinose the truth. ”
Kuriyama-san again froze at her place, not in shock but in panic since she was extremely shy when it comes to her romantic interest in Ichinose.
On the other side, I could already sense how Miho was eyeing Kuriyama-san with a complicated gaze. All her previously built confidence must have been subdued by now.
“You won’t change your mind even if I pursue you, right?”
Kuriyama-san asked with a pleading look but I shook my head without any hesitation before voicing my thoughts, ” If you want to see your love story proceeding with Ichi, you need to express your feelings for him. ”
Hearing my bare and simply expressed words, her face boiled up in embarrassment before she nearly threw the box at me and walked away with a loud shout.
“Urusai! Baka! ”
And with that, Kuriyama-san marched away, clearly not prepared to face Ichinoss today. I smiled at the display before putting the box inside my bag, without checking the content since it wasn’t for me.
“…somehow, I feel I am the simplest and most ordinary girl pursuing Ichinose-kun. ”
For the rest of the journey, I consoled the sulking Miho.

Reaching school, I was greeted by a sudden shock upon finding a pink envelope resting under my indoor shoes inside the locker.
“Man…there’s my name written over it… ”
For a moment I thought it might be for Ichi but my name was written in perfect Kanji over the envelope, signifying it was either a prank or someone really was interested in me.
“Unwrap it and see what’s the coordinates.”
Ichinose brought a hand over my shoulder and asked in a fake serious tone, trying to hide his amusement.
“Coordinates? This ain’t a game, bruh…. ”
I was about to tear the cover and see what was inside when suddenly.
*SNATCH*
Suddenly someone snatched the envelope.
I turned to look at the person only to find Yui-chan standing there with the envelope now being used as a handkerchief as she blew her nose in it.
“Ah, I might be getting a cold any moment now. Sorry, senpai. Couldn’t have let you see an unsightly display. ”
Yui apologized as she held the slightly crumpled letter in her hand. Her nose was slightly red, which tells that she might have caught a cold because of being drenched for long yesterday.
I was dumbstruck about what to say here since mentioning yesterday would pique Ichi’s attention and I didn’t want that. At all.
“It’s dirty now, senpai so let’s throw it away.”
With that Yui-chan shot the rolled envelope into the nearby dustbin.
“Ah… ” I felt bad for the person who wrote it as I never got to see their name as well.
It seems Yui-chan heard my small exclamation as she turned on her track to look at me before with a suggestive smirk she said something outrageous, “If you are so desperate senpai, then I will write you a love letter. What you say?”
My eyes slightly widened as I glared at Yui-chan to not say anything that could make Ichinose suspicious but in response, the carefree girl just poked her little tongue out before she turned away and hopped her way toward the class.
If in the past, she would have said something like this, I might have taken it casually but after what happened yesterday…
I stiffly turned my head toward Ichinose, uncertain of what expression he might have. But all my worries were needless since Ichinose was already engaged in a chat with a girl from our class.
With a sigh, I turned to look at the dustbin before a thought emerged in my mind.
‘Should I check the infamous confession spot after school today… ?’
